Haha. Interesting reraise then 🙂

But the river is unknown, so who knows what happened.

Maybe he/she had something against you and it was "worth" the risk 🙂

Or it was just a person who was intoxicated. Either or 🙂

Maybe, he did rebuy after that just to lose again, was it j2 off, to another player with drawing dead post flop. Maybe he is missing fold button in the app or really hates to use it 😄

I guess i should have bet more on flop but would that help against unfoldables? 🤮

If you think in terms of poker ranges, your opponent was ahead of your range:

A middle pair with one non-Ace overcard against a button raiser should give you round about 65 % equity.

If you're somehow reasonably raising from the button, you raise with these hands:

image.png.7e6921508e6ef738afb530de077d7cda.png

Board: Jd7h2s
    Equity    Win    Tie
BU    39.66%    39.41%    0.26%    { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q6s+, J7s+, T8s+, 98s, 87s, 76s, A2o+, K7o+, Q9o+, J9o+ }
BB    60.34%    60.08%    0.26%    { 7c5c }

60-40 in his favour. If you're raising looser, his numbers even go up a little.

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

I don't. To me these charts and VAR are the same, nitpicking bs 🤣 "perfect desicion everytime" yet still a lot of room for speculating.

But while we are at it, and you know charts, what is his situation of both pre and postflop with betsizes played compared to his stack? In long run +ev play?

To me flop and turn wasn't scary at all, quite opposite. I was 80/20 fav on flop, 20/80 on turn looking retrospectively.

Both of my examples were from majors, first one from qualifier and latter from actual tourny so if we analyze, based on qualifier, what kind of player i might be up against i could arque that ranges mean nothing 😄

While I’m grateful for getting the opportunity to play Major MTTs, I don’t know anymore, kinda loosing the taste…

Any comments on these guys:

1) On Monday played The Bullet (7 players left before prized positions) - went AK preflop all-in 👇

Yeah, for someone maybe, but for me with Majors they aren’t - I’m simply doomed to loose!

I think nobody made a mistake on the flop here. Raising almost 4 BB preflop is a bit much and I probably would not have called with 75s here. But what do I know?

On the flop, betting 1/2 Pot is OK, I probably would have done the same thing. No flush draw, no straight draw. Your opponent however also had no reason to throw away his cards with round about 60-65 % equity against your range. Sure, you could have 88+ or something like AJ, KJ, QJ, JT, but you could also be cbetting with AK, AQ, KQ, 98s...

On the turn, it's tough for you to put him on a hand that beats you, maybe if you took some mental notes on his behaviour.

Had to check up on her 😛 Based on this "joke" and reddit she is talented but not in poker. Strange that even the traditionally quiet, cute and innocent looking asian girls are so different since the social media. Plenty of attention seeker whores...

What do you guys think? Super hard spot imo, I think it's a marginal call at best, so I just decided to fold this time a wait for a better spot... I mean even if it's a slightly +EV call at best, why risk all these chips for a massive 6bb shove, he probably just has Aces when he does that right?🤔

Your visible stack size would be appreciated. If you are sure nobody will make a call behind you and you can't build a bigger main pot and your stack is healty and your opponent is a rock then the fold is a good game.
