After request we will change start time on all daily regular tournaments that had a start time of xx:00
We will move all those to 5 minutes past full hour. This is done so players can take full advantage of the hourly 6 minute break that comes every hour at xx:55.

One caveat to this is that I'd make the longer blind/earlier start Omaha tournament a freezeout rather than rebuy, and possibly make it the €25 stakes, not €50. BTW, one option I'd definitely try for the longer blinds structure is re-entry (with or without bounties). Omaha suits this format (as you're far more likely to risk going broke in Omaha), and on certain competitor sites I think the bounty with multiple re-entries is a winner. I'm guessing Unibet has a policy of not allowing more than one re-entry?

Hey @Pickleman I don't know if I would call the longer Omaha a success, it was doing as expected. We have during UOS a mix of 25s and 50s, rebuy reenter and freezeout.
The reason why I went for a bit higher buyin with option to reenter again is with a freezeout and just €25 buyin, the guarantee wouldn't been so great. Let's see what I do next time. If we do reentries, there are nothing stopping me from allowing multiple re-entries

For those of you that haven't managed to qualify for the big Supermoon on Sunday and think €250 is a too hefty buyin to cash into.
For you guys, we will run a 2-day €25 Mini version of the Supermoon. There will obviously be some superqualifiers for the mini too.

Hey @mamrot & @comanimal We will from this Friday run the "€2,000 Big Comet" (€100 buyin) at 19:00CEST, I hope to see you at the tables. This tournament will only run Fridays. The guarantee will obviously increase if we see a success 🙂

Sadly I'm not free that night, but I really hope the tournament is a success and a decent structure Omaha tournament remains a feature of the UOS. 

Omahaphiles - if you want a decent structured major Omaha tournament make sure you promote this tourney! If these tournaments get loads of runners then Unibet will put more of them on.

Hey @Farseer We have a few different variations on bounties, this is on of the most top heavy bounty, it's not many of them but some players like them. You find much more "normal" ones in the schedule

Being sarcastic, in your opinion Balalakaw has no influence on Dark Matter and there is no cannibalism? You can say: of course, these tourneys are different. But then you say about cannibalism between €25 The Earth PKO and €25RA Neptune and between €10 The Venus PKO and €10 RA Sputnik/Omaha, which are also, wait for it, DIFFERENT! Not only the format of the tournament is different, but also the AVERAGE buy-ins.

 

This is why I don't get it, because it is illogical and shows inconsistency... but....

 

I'm not suprised about your decision... To be honest, the rejection was what I expected more, but in my opinion better argumet is: No, because no.

 

Last thing... Why not start a thread before adding ANY tournament asking players what new tournament they would like to see in schedule and at what time, and then vote 2-3 suggestions instead of adding stuff like Balalakaw that you don't know how it will take on. People usually say what they want and all you need to do is listen. Simplicity is the best and always wins at the end.

Hey @mamrot I hope you are fine. Sorry for my late reply, trying to do some holidaying in the middle of work 🙂
What I try to do is to create a schedule where as many as possible can find a  good tournament of their choose with a decent guarantee.. With x-number of player liquidity I have to balance the schedule as best I can, your and other influencers from the community is important to make that happened.
The reason why I don't think it's a good idea asking the community what the next new tournament format should be is that you get as many options/formats as you get answers. I did this just a few just recently with "Venus" and I think I had 12 answers with 9 different formats.

After going through all suggestions I came out with a format. The suggest came from @comanimal and @IanSimpson with support of @mamrot
Name suggestion I think @Psycho79 had the best "Venus" it will be.
Thanks for supporting in making our offering even better than today, I start low at the guarantee, just €400, I am pretty sure you guys will make the guarantee grow to at least one-cool-thousand before this month ends, any indications it break the €500 barrier, I will increase the guarantee immediately.
