Hello @FunckyFish , The text is meaning that there will only be 15 minutes late reg,. so hurry up regestering, don't wait for late registartion.

I hope you  enjoy the freeroll!

You are wrong @Leo-Unibet  . In Polish version there is "Możesz zarejestrować się 15 minut przed turniejem – nie spóźnij się! " wchich means exactly "You can register 15 minutes before the tournament starts-don't be late".

Hello @Pesek  It seams like there been some missunderstanding in translation. If someone had some bad experience with the advent freeroll I really say sorry from all of us to all of you./Leo

Few thoughts (played all but 3 low/mid/high-events), though mainly my old points still stand from UOS8: https://www.unibetcommunity.com/t5/General-Poker/Unibet-Online-Series-8/m-p/331646#M49473

Weekly 2-day events seemed bad, too deep starting stacks, too long running time (especially at low levels compared to prize pools) and too long day1 (27 levels with breaks: 7h 27 min, ending 03:27 EET). Even just by cutting 2 levels from the start of regular events would help a bit with running time, make it bit more bearable 6h 51 min. Would probably cut even more or make day1 to run 12 min blind levels instead of 15 min (though rather take longer blind levels than deeper starting stacks).

Using same 2-day structure for all events with different starting stacks and even with R/A isn't great imo. R/A should start with considerably more shallow stack, to provide action and make tournament finish ITM day1.

Satellites stopped running bit too early, should run later especially on non-KO events imo. Usually last satellites did reach their guaranteeds better than early satellites.

Sunday as starting day was a good change. Tuesday as rest day was better than Monday (2-day events could kill rest day).

3 weeks running time is too long. Especially with leaderboard prizes being less than what they used to be with 2-week long series with smaller buy-ins. Would've skipped this UOS if not for Pokerihuone separate additional leaderboard.

Personally would like to see high events removed from overall leaderboard, as they cost so much and due to higher multiplier they're critical for overall leaderboard.

There was also some slight problem with 5 events running at the same evening and often at the same time. Not sure how many players feel great playing so many tables, especially as occasionally there were formats like ante up which require much more concentration than regular tournament.

    Hello @Farseer

First of all, thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts regarding the latest series. Regarding the 2-day event I agree to some extent that the smaller buyins tournaments having the same structure as a €100 buyin are a bit too long. The idea is to have all structures the samr so it would not matter if you're a "highroller" playing the €100-300 events or if you are a nano player, you get the same good structure tournament. But as you say, probably the small ones are too long, I will think about it, already have but again give it a big thought. The higher 2-day events I don't agree that the lenght of the tournaments been to long, even if the hours per day have not been optimal running 27 levels day 1, we use to do 26 levels but some tournaments finished like 2 places from ITM sometimes so I added one level.

This gonna be compleatly changed for next UOS, where day 1's will not try to reach the money and just go for 18-20 levels. This way we have a more equaly spread hours between day 1 and day 2 . Regarding the leaderboard and which tournaments should be in and which should not, that's something that we look constantly discussing and trying to be as correct and fare as possible, for all players. Three weeks of a serie could be seen as long, but not many players play every day, so see it as a option to participate in good tournaments over a long time, we also discussing that we might do one or so shorter series next year, not finalised yet though.

    Have nice upcomning  holidays!!

Hey @Janek   I made that ticket valid for other UOS €100 events. For the future, please don't participate in "ONLY for" qualifiers if you aint gonna use the ticket.

    Hello @Leo-Unibet ,

I think the deatils on Unibet.com are not correct. It seems that some part was copied from UOS IX, but some things changed.

    E.g.:

    Total prizepool: € 1500

The prizepool of Nano will be shared equally.

All qualified players will win the same amount

Criteria: Players must have played at least 31 of all 44 nano events (> 70%).

In UOS X there are only 40 nano tournaments. Could you please tell me how many nano tournaments must have play to win a share form the prizepool? Thank you in advance!

@Leo-Unibet You don't have to explain yourself to us, we're just giving feedback (even though one feedback was a bit aggressive and drunk 🤣 )

I like the 20 levels idea for day 1, indeed it's probably better to end far from the money and let it pop on day 2, that's mostly why we gave this feedback, not for the 2 people returning on day2, but more because of the unnecesarily long day 1 given the circumstances. And yeah I assumed it was because people complained about the bubble and their feedback focused more on lets just burst it already :D , understandable.

As for having different setups for different buyins I understand where you're coming from, I have mixed feelings about this too, as low stakes players want to play good tournaments too, would definitly be against making them turbo, it just seems that the feedback is that thay're a bit too long for the very tiny prizes, and 10-12 for 1€ , 12-15 for 10€ with 15k chips still makes for a very well structured tournament compared to what else is available at their stakes (while very slow tournaments are more standard at the higher stakes), and it would also help making the total runtime more similar for the 4 tournaments despite the fact that the low ones have 3 to 4 times the entries,  and then you can make custom day1/day2 splits where day 1 ends at the same-ish time, but the lower ones are further along. Just an idea, dunno what is better, completely up to you what you consider is better, it's not something that affects me as I don't play the 1 , and I don't mind the 10 lasting however long, just basing this on a few personal anecdotes I've heard and lack any real data on what people prefer.

Overall I really liked these tournaments, quite enjoyable to play 👍

Thanks @FeelsBadMan  for your thoughtful writings, of course I have to explain how we ended up having a sick tournament as the €300.

Because of yours and @Farseer  inputs we might have even better schedule whenever we make UOS11.

It's a balance of making the majority of our customers happy and having a great time at the tables, we can't be optimal for all, but we can give it a try.

Thanks guys, and good luck with the remaining of the series.

^ Just posting a short translation of the angry finnish message. We all probably agree that day 1 could have been shorter (less levels), ideally day 1 and day 2 would be roughly equal, so like for a 10 hour total runtime, 5 hour day 1 +5 hour day 2. This time the "new DSO" had half the stack size (great change IMO) and 2 extra levels of day 1, compared to the old DSO

Personally, other than the weird day 1 day 2 split which seems like an honest mistake, and that doesn't really affect me, I quite enjoyed the structure. a bit too deep at the start but got past that by lateregging an hour in.

Also it probably would make sense to have lower events a bit faster, like for the 1€ event, don't think almost anyone would complain if it were a 10 min day 1 12 min day 2, and for the 10€ maybe like 12min day 1 and 15 minute day 2. The prizes just aren't worth it for most, and these blind timers would still give a very good amount of play for the level of thournaments at those stakes, and it would make it easier to split day1s and day2s equally-ish across the board.

I know I know, his angry message didn't seem like it said all this, but deep down it really did 🤣

    @Leo-Unibet

    Hello @FeelsBadMan

Thanks for you mail, I will try to break it down what happend.

that day 1 could have been shorter (less levels),

I know you nioticed the change we done lately where we used to run day one 26 levels and now gone over to do 27 levels on the first day, the reason for doing so is that before when we're running 26 levels it happend that we were closing day ones just a few placed from being in the money, 8 out of 10 times we would make the money within 26 levels but to please the load crowd I changed, and made day 1's 27 levels. So that's the reason for having 27 levels. We also changed day 1's from being 12 minutes to being 15 minutes, this made day one's 81 minutes longer, but made the BB avg much better.

This time the "new DSO" had half the stack size (great change IMO)

On this particullar tournament I wish we had more than the 15K in start stack and this tournament wouldn't been that awkward

Personally, other than the weird day 1 day 2 split which seems like an honest mistake

Not really a mistake, more like a effect of to little chips in play or to few entrances as in this €300 event 87+11 we're enough on a wierd playout like this.

Normally, this tournament with this number of chips would be playing about 13 levels longer, 260 minutes, over 4 hours but due to how the players were busting out in rapid phase we had this strange situation. It's just sad that this happend, it's obviously not nice experience for the 2 players remaining in the tournament, the other 85 players were not affected , thankfully. I guess the money made for these players would make up for the sick circumstances.

Also it probably would make sense to have lower events a bit faster, like for the 1€ event, don't think almost anyone would complain

I 100% understand that argumentation, but the ideais that all three tournaments starting in the same "slot" should be mirroring eachother, so that all players would have the same feeling of "great tournament with super nice structure" , no matter if you a nano player, or if you a regular €100-player. Give the lower buyin players the same experience. Good or bad, I don't know but I think they are worth that "feeling" to.

I know I know, his angry message didn't seem like it said all this, but deep down it really did

Thanks for explaining Adrian, but I understood what @Farseer  ment to :-)

I solution after this experience is probably not to try to reach the money within day 1, probably just make the day 1's aprox 20 levels (105 minites) shorter and we have a day 2 where players will have an 1,5 hours play before reaching the money.

After all, this was a extream ran-out tournament which ended on 2400-4800 but should normally been playing until aprox 12500-25000

I wish players, when they were in the money wasn't so eager to get it all in, they should enjoyed that tournament insted of pushing it 😃

expect shorter day 1's in the future.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts :peace:

@Farseer  This 2-day event were exceptional when it comes to how it would run out, with the number of player this would, under normal circumstances been running for another 13 levels (260 minutes), as youi know, the length of a tournament with the same setup can vary alot in time.  This was just sick.

After looking at the schedule for the upcomming UOS series, I was really interested in playing the 2 day events (Events 2, 3 and 4) which start today, the 22nd of November. Can anyone tell me when day 2 of these events will actually resume? Thanks, Kris.

    Hey Community

Starting tomorrow we will do some small changes to the sibling tournaments "€4,000 Neptune Rebuy"  €50 and €25
We had seen for quite some time that it's hard to have both starting due to to few players registered when the tournament start.
With quite a few €50 tournaments starting between 19:00 - 19:30 I beleive it't better to push one forward for an hour, and pull back the €25 for one hour, they just swop place.
There will also be some other tiny changes that regulars notice, but if you play for teh first time just a nice experience.

    Check it out, starts tomorrow

    Hey again @Pickleman
I looked in to those two tournaments, you were right, very shot going into the money E102 only 11,5 avg and E101 9,3 avg
The runtime of aprox 4 hours for these tournaments starting 20:30 cet was perfect, I find a way to sort that to next time.
Could the issue be players being to nitty, doing anything for reaching the money

    @Leo-Unibet

Hi again Leo. I thought I'd bump this previous thread given our conversation in another thread about the Omaha Sputnik structure (regarding adding antes to the Sputnik) but also now that we've had all the Omaha tournaments of UOS IX.

So first of all some notes from E101/E102: the money bubble hit after only about 2:15 hours of play. At the beginning of the money bubble, the average stack had 18 bigs, then 14, then 11, and finally when the bubble burst the average stack had 9 bigs.  Please note that of the five sets of tournaments run, three had the "sputnik" structure I analysed above, and two had the 8k starting stack/6 min blinds that lead to having only 9 bigs on the bubble.

Given that the UOS is Unibet's flagship online series, and given that Omaha is one of only two variants offered on the site, I think these tournament structures are a bit too fast. I mean, if I was going to enter a EUR25 or 50 tournament online, I'd like a better structure than that. Even the more recreational, gambly players might want a better bang for their buck.

By comparison, the hold em tournaments have had some pretty amazing structures - and it doesn't have to be for big buy ins either. Some of the Nanos have been rebuys with 20k stacks/12min blinds or 15k stacks/15 min blinds.

Bear in mind my point about Omaha having closer together preflop/postflop equities. If anything, Omaha tournaments should have BETTER structures than Hold em, not worse.

So please do consider this when creating the schedule for UOS X. BTW, I'm happy to help - I've written lots of articles on tournament structure 😃 (I'm guessing I can't link to them here, but DM me if you want some links)

Hey @Pickleman , thanks alot for your thoughtful inputs, I will take those words with me going into next UOS series, I can just say without looking further, It sounds like it make perfectly sense. Cheers
