As I've said a few times copying could be solved by having a free choice of which races to pick, and having to make a bet to get some points is not really good imo for a free to enter comp, the advantage switches to those with a bankroll and handicaps those with less funds, and I only bet when I think I have an edge, not because I have to. Why drop the last player, horses come from behind all the time to win, 2 decent priced winners and you're back in the running, and knocked out players will lose interest too quickly.
