While we probably don't have extraterrestrial technology at Unibet, what we do have is a great innovation team called Futureswho are always looking for potential technological additions to provide a better overall gaming experience!
As you guys are the players, we'd really like to hear what you think about some of our potential future changes for the Sportsbook. We're talking design, live betting information, betting markets and so on.
We're glad to present this opportunity to join our closed Sportsbook testing and feedback group here on the community called Area 51, a pretty cool opportunity to help shape where the Unibet Sportsbook experience goes in the future, something we know you guys have asked for :Thumbsup:

Some of the information is a bit delicate in nature, so members who want to join this project will be asked to agree to an NDA. Thereafter you'll have access to our Area 51 board where Keir, Open Innovations Manager of the Futures team, will start the group off by presenting some concept mock ups and the ideas around them.
The first specific project we're looking into is about exploring what data in football might look like in 2-3 years. This goes beyond the normal corners, free kicks, possession etc. to explore what kind of metrics would improve the player experience whilst using the Unibet app to bet in-play on football.

If you're interested, please let us know here in the thread or through private message :)

So far, the following members are taking the opportunity to be part of the group:

@Rushbie
@jerry
@Joco
@AndreiBN
@CharismaMan
@XY
@gyepedro
@Pesek
@HonorTheGame
@GothMoth

Hope no one gets offended, but i wanted to say/sneak a quick question ".fr" looks really slick, when should the other markets expect the same look? :happyshy:

Interested.

Usually love to do livebets with phone when watching the games, especially on the go, and obviously more data/statistics had would be more than wanted 👍

Also tried the mobile app, but still prefer to just login to normal site instead.

In case any viewpoints are needed, would like to try, and hopefully come up with something useful 😏

Also interested. I think i know where to look since i really like livebetting [even if sadly its only one way love]. Dont like livebetting with mobile, somehow dont trust the thing that i dont make a mistake with one too many zeroos :annoyed:

WHat about improving offer on the markets? I could go on and on about that but for example hockey third period and betting for 3 goals for each teams. Usually at the most you can play 2 [its usually on the better team only] and its not always either. There is one site that you can see how its done. Unibet isnt far away with markets, bet builder thing was huge [still theres no betbuilder in hockey//tennis], why not close that gap?

For new stats i would use number of km each teams runs, number of crosses, passes, complete passes, aerials won, offsides.

the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

@Rushbie @Rushbie Awesome, will be great to have you guys there :)
I'm not sure if it's all described a bit too serious in the OP, but I feel there are quite a few members here who would enjoy being part of this feedback/discussion group - so am hopeful we'll get some more signups :)

I'm not much of a football bettor nowadays but I'm interested in the new ways and possibilites betting might take so I'm up for trying it out.

It's good to see that you guys are still looking for improvements. Recently Bet Builder was a nice addition for many players.

Regarding live bets one of the biggest issues I find with Unibet is the length of bet suspensions. Though Football games are probably the least affected, I experienced this problem with Tennis and Esports matches. While the bets were suspended on Unibet, other competitors had them long available.

My other issue is the lack of matches to bet on sometimes. But I don't think that affects football either as it is well covered in that sense.

I don't have the Sportsbook application installed on my phone either because I think it's pretty redundant to use. It's much more comfortable to just use your mobile browser. You can also switch tabs easily to look for information regarding the matches you are interested in.

Very nice @Joco 👍 No need for worry about not using the Sportsbook app, the topics on the board will be with pictures and videos that show's the concepts we're looking at - they haven't even been built yet.
There might be something to try out in the future, but for now we'll start off with the football data project and see how it goes :)

Interested as well.

Most likely it will take some time before there will be a few tennis prjects in the pipeline , but i'm quite curious about the new developments in the football section and would like to have a look at what direct Unibet is taking.

Now that major football leagues are back , started to bet on them as well , so there's a bit of excitement when new ideas are born , and would be more than happy to give my feedback .

Joking aside , when are you gonna change your sportsbook betting platform provider ? 🤣

I'd like to join @JeppeL  😃

Don't bet as much as before, but still place few weekly( mainly tennis and football). I'm fond of live-betting too. The odds for late minute surprises are great at Unibet 😃
