  1. @ozzy123 I see the case has been updated this afternoon, thank you for sending the new documents!
It's quite rare that we see verification that takes as long as mentioned in this thread, but in a few cases it can happen due to the nature of the verification needed. Most often though, when the period of verification is longer, it's because the documents can't be approved, sometimes because they're expired, others when not all four corners are visible etc.

  2. I don't know what you play on usually, but if you need to pass the time and are into football, we have a free competition here on the community. Basically all you need to do to join is to pick 11 players from this weekends games in the Premier League and Bundesliga, then when the weekend games are over count the player rating from Whoscored.com and post your score here on the community. Check it out here if you're interested

Sorry if you're not into football, but I figured I'd let you know in case you haven't seen our Competitions board recently..

@Livertool Isn't it part of their T&C that you should sign up using correct details? Can you win prizes there if you don't? I think that's the most make or break for me, because we'd need to be able to sign up without breaking their rules.

Don't know, but i highly doubt they ask you to verify yourself in any situation. And it is up to everyone, whether use correct details or want to go incognito. With later you may miss prices just like registering to Unibet with incorrect details. But anyways, lets go with this, thou to simple man like me it is not as fun when you can't follow how everyone is doing. Well you can but would require lot of work, so make it simple and lazy

I totally agree about the option to follow live standings. Let's take this current competition for what it is and see how it works out this weekend, I'll try and read around a bit about PLF registration and prizes :)

  4. Hi @Greta and welcome to the community :)

It can take 3-5 days for documents to get through the que, but most often it'll be less than that!

Thanks for mentioning about your contact with Customer Support, I don't want to cause an alarm, but I'd suggest uploadeing pictures of your ID where all 4 corners can be seen, as well as having the picture taken just a bit closer so everything on it is clear.

  5. @XY I find it interesting what you mention about the new style of football. If the game is changing and in general the results are becoming more unpredictable, isn't that something which can be predicted by itself? :)
What I mean is that if more teams play better vs the general competition than in the past, wouldn't the leagues then flatten out more overall and not have such large point differentials between the teams? Like everyone being more competitive vs the bigger teams.
I noticed last year that Eibar was either the #1 or #2 pressing team either in La Liga or all of Europe, so no matter who they faced they stuck with their general game plan of pressing as much as possible. Those changes I find very interesting, as it means that Eibar is fully employing a vision of forcing other teams to have to change to them, while Eibar themselves can always stick to their own known strategy. This kind of philosophy has been more used in youth ranks, at least for youth basketball that has always been a pretty big thing :)

If you're aware and notice things like pressure and difference of style in football games @XY , I'd urge you to sign up for the Area 51 board. These kind of things are what they're looking into with new statistics possibly becoming available in the future, which could help you as a player to disect what's happening in these new football philosophies :)

Basketball, like football, has undergone quite a change over the last 15 years, with lots of new strategy coming especially in the last 5 years. Most of it is data driven and has certainly changed the viewing experience.
As for betting, I think you can definitley find value if you pay attention to the scheduling and opponents. There are tons of NBA games every season where one team has played much more in recent days than their opponent, often they find themselves playing two days in a row while travelling from one city to another in between.
Personally I'm more about team structures though and even though I was biased, I still presented what I thought was the best bet on an NBA champion this year in the Lakers as a promotion here on the community, I really thought they were looking to become a great team due to their construction :)

For the NBA, you can also sometimes find alternative analysis which can be helpful, especially towards stat bets for the regular season, like this one which is pretty hilarious in it's own right:

@Shulya85 @yaverr I know Liverpool are quite popular, but for this competition all players have to play either Saturday or Sunday..Liverpool is on Monday, so you need someone other than Salah in your lineups.

Last time I had an issue with Poker client, I contacted CS three days in a row. Every day they promised me an answer through email. Never got one. On the third day I just had an extra MTT ticket on my account.

Same thing happened with sportsbook. No one answers on email. Just a refund suddenly appears to account.

That's the problem. You ask for emails, logs or screenshots via email. But you never answer them. Problems are solved randomly in day or a week. The plus side is that it's always solved but the pace and style is underwhelming.

This time I posted after three hours here just to make known this bug. Didn't really expect the issue be solved through this forum.

The forum is a pretty good place to get help, especially with poker issues as there are quite a few members here who are very knowledgeable about the poker client as well as staff from the Poker team are very active as well like @Stubbe-Unibet and @Andy-Unibet who's even a former member :)

About the emails though, you should definitely be getting these from us. I''ve checked your most recent case about a missing poker ticket, a new one was added to your account on the 2nd of August and an email sent to you on the morning of August 3rd at around 8:00 AM CET. to let you know( in any case I agree it's not good that email is going out a day later).

Any chance you could try and check your inbox and spam filter for this email? And please be sure that it's the email address that you have registered on your Unibet account that you are checking(have seen this before :) )

  8. @Pionrj Can I ask how quick you are to follow up with Customer Support on your request after having originally made it? I totally agree that the process should be as smooth as possible where you get a reply without asking for it again, but saw you mentioned here in the thread that you'd been waiting 3 hours for a response. With the general pressure that's on Customer Support daily, I'm not sure we'll be able to beat that time through email, but I'm glad Stubbe was able to handle it through your description of the issue here!
You mention that it always feels like that small issues escalate into something that requires work from your end, are you referring being asked to send in the poker log or screenshots?

@Livertool I'm not sure I follow, you mean for a season competition or just for this weekend round that we should count half points of two leagues?

Depends what you want to do, season, just one round, monthly....

If just one round, at least in pl fantasy, you can easily find points that player has got and player positions are very clear. In that case we would have to manually announce our players here. But ofc, i wouldn't mind whole season either, best part of that, it handles itself with points and players. All we have to do here is chat about it and pay collect prices.

I did consider it @Livertool , but my biggest gripe with it is that in the PL Fantasy they ask you to sign up with real name details, which are then viewable for others. I don't like asking you guys to sign up somewhere with your real name viewable in order to be able to join a competition here :wonder:

@TheStrongMan  - I think you need to pick players related to the weekend matches. For example - Liverpool (Van Dijk) plays on Monday. Cheers

Correct, only players who are in action Saturday or Sunday and from either the Premier League or Bundesliga :)

  12. I think it's best if we say that you can select players on the basis of all their listed positions on Whoscored, e.g Gnabry who could work as either a midfielder or forward, depending on where you think he fits best in your lineup.
If a selected player then ends up playing a different position in the game compared to his position in your team, can't we just say the points count anyway?

@Merenitsu Still making sure we have the setup as best we can on this first round, but will post my team here tonight or tomorrow :)

@deanspleen09 We can add a rule saying you have to have at least one or two different players than any other team - would that be enough to make it work? I think it would be a shame not to have the teams showing in the thread.
