Estzen
Any decent player can build something from Nano UOS these weeks. So if you think you run +EV in these, that should be the take. 1

GR1ZZL3R
A couple of early morning presents. Merry Christmas. 7 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."
GR1ZZL3R
A quick update before the end of the year and new resolutions or challenges. The poker ticket is still alive. It was very poorly before Christmas but rallied strongly with the daily flops promo, I think I only missed a couple of times seeing 80 flops, and a period of rungood helped enormously and gave me back a bit of enthusiasm. Due to the extra benefit of some added bonuses (I've only played the cash ones) I "won" a €1 Hexa ticket, converted to €1.50 , 20 spins on some slot or other €0.78 won , (more spins on offer tomorrow) a €5 playthrough bonus successfully made ( another just started today as I bought one and finished it this morning) so small gains here and there. The ticket has less than 1,000 flops left so I would like to clear that this week, about 160 flops a day, and possibly make level 4 in the Game Lab at the same time. I had 20 x €2 UO tickets and flipped them all over Christmas, 5 x €10 tickets won plus a €6 2nd place, so more goodies. The current plan (plans change) for next year is start at Ground Zero, cash out whatever profit I've got (tempting fate there), use the over €200 worth of BPs to buy poker tickets and following the @P0kerM0nk strategy keep buying bonuses, having used one for the first time they seem fine to me, (about 5 sessions of 80 flops each, 3-4 tabling 5-10c, cleared €5). A race against time now, getting ready for Day1. 6 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."
GR1ZZL3R
Four days left: 823 flops left to see on the ticket, 1,445 XP to earn for level 4 €0.82 won on MT2, €5 XMAS Bonus at 44.3% Plus Santa Flips to play. 5 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%." GR1ZZL3R
It's not always the big starting hands that contribute to the profit (if any.) I saw the flop once with KK and won a few cents with a c-bet. Sometimes a single Ace is better. Twice in one session is pushing it though. 3 1 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."

GR1ZZL3R
A continuation. But on the other hand....................... ................... villain limps from CO, I raise from Button, he 3 bets, I call. He c-bets, I call, c-bets the flop and all in on the river. I was just annoyed I hadn't topped up. Another AA limp, I check, he bets small on the flop, basically giving me a free card. I checked the turn thinking he had nothing, maybe the flush draw, and then I'm thinking I should have bet, instead I gave him a free card back, he checked back, no club on the river so I bet and he called. P0kerM0nk
J2s hand, don’t think there is another way of playing it OOP as I wouldn’t donk the turn either after he bet the flop. Hope you bombed the river at least. Edited December 28, 2021 by P0kerM0nk

Hope you bombed the river at least. I did bet the river and he called. Just played my last session of the day, pretty OK. Another slow played AA when I hit a set of 333's, AA a couple of times when I actually saw flops and won a bit. Three days to go, 670 flops to see, 750 XP to get, €5 bonus cleared, loads of Santa Flips to play. 2 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%." GR1ZZL3R
Two days left, 559 flops to see, a bad day on the tables so knocked me down a bit. Only 303 XP to get so should make level 4 of Game Lab. The day finished, (or I should say today started) with 20 PLO flops for €1.65 profit, basically just waiting to see cheap flops against some total nutcases , and €1.07 won on Wild Chapo. Overall a bad day. Bedtime. 2 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."

GR1ZZL3R
The Santa flips were totally rigged, I made about 100 BPs, the poker tables were running fine. A rare sight. GR1ZZL3R
Made it.** First thoughts are relief. It's been a very swingy few weeks, up to €140, down to €70, up €114 and right down to €59, at which point I thought I might just blow it and give up, yet again. Two things kept me going, the first a brief training trip back at Sky Poker where I first started. Fish infested doesn't really begin to describe it, rife with limpers, short stackers, and very few players ever topping up, even though one simple click makes it happen automatically, it can be switched on or off at will. (Unibet please note.) Confidence building sessions made me get back to the grind here, as well as the Santa Flips promo, (which was basically a wash out for me ) and 2 weeks running well got me up to around €250 by Christmas. From there I've been up to €290 and back to €240, 6 tabling at times to get through. I think my sweet spot is 3 or 4 tables, depending on the action. The second is, if not exactly coming to terms with variance and tilt issues, working on the mental aspect of my game more than any other. I rarely limp, I try to top up as often as possible, ( frustration comes when you win 2 x €5 from villains instead of 2 X €10, it does add up in the long run ) I try to play in position as much as possible, I have a fairly specific opening range but not overly tight, and am learning to let top pair go when under pressure. It's absolutely amazing how many players get stacked with Ax on any Ace flop, or AA beaten by 4 to a sraight and 4 to a flush or even any pair on any board, when even I can fold them at times. There are always highs and lows, flopping quads and being bet into is nice, but then flopping 3 sets within 5 minutes on three different tables and being beaten by a runner runner straight, a runner runner flush and an overset can make you want to give up. I'm probably never going to get back to grinding or even what's considered a "normal" amount of play, but I will be withdrawing my winnings, starting at zero bankroll but with exactly 24,500 BPs, so buying a mixture of tickets and playthrough bonuses. I won't grind but just play as and when and for how long I want, seems sensible. Happy New Year and Fun Punting. ** A rough guess at between 7-9 bbs/100. 8 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%." GR1ZZL3R
DAY 1 I played a short 2-4 session on Sky, running up one table to over £12 but no headway on the other. Reasonably good. DAY 2 Start of the main focus On Unibet. It's only one day but it was not the way I hoped to start. I cleared my balance so starting with Account €000.00 BPs 24,500 I bought a €50 €10NL ticket, I intend to buy playthrough bonuses but still have one running, but proceeded to lose almost 2 stacks very early. Pulled some of it back with AA>AK on a Kxx flop and hit the nut flush on the river with AKs, but virtually nothing else. I only played one table for two hours, it's definitely too slow and I'll pick up the pace as I go. I ended up playing 258 hands, seeing 39 flops, about my average 1 in 6, and lost €8.55. I reckon I was unlucky 4 times and lucky once but in such a small session these things are meaningless and I won't be paying too much attention to them. I need to get to level 5 in the Game Lab for some all in equity figures but that seems a long way off. I've also set up a spreadsheet to record my results, let's see how long I can go before binning it. Fun Punting All. . 7 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."
HardGain
I wish you a happy new year all the best with your new project! Can you explain "I bought a €50 €10NL ticket" - i'm confused as im not that into buying tickets, but looking forward to do it this year. So this is 50EUR in your balance and you can play only NL10? Thanks for the explanation and gl at the tables!
GR1ZZL3R
Thankyou @HardGain If you go to the Bonus Shop and Cash Game Ticket section you will find tickets for various stakes and buy in levels. Having no money in my account I used 5,000 BPs to buy a €50 ticket to use on 5c-10c cash games, needing to see 1,500 flops to convert the ticket to cash. There are quite a few buy-in levels and a few prices, this one I'm on now is the one that suits me. Hope this helps and good luck to you. GR1ZZL3R
DAY 5 Good news and bad news. Terrible running on the tables. lost all the profit so far and then some more. The ticket is looking very poorly, maybe needing a vaccination against flopped sets and runner runner straights and flushes. The good news is that I've reached Level One in the Game Lab and released €1 on the playthrough bonus so my account no longer stands at 00.00. Terrific eh! A nice surprise when receiving invites to 2 community tourneys. Good luck all the regulars, hope it's streamed or the chat room's open. Have you're having fun, I'm not. . 6 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."
