Today has been crazy. Had about 15 pocket pairs and not flopped a set once. Lost 4 flips in a row for roughly 60k pots each and then I busted AA with my QJs aipf. Why do we play this stupid game?

Peaked at around 120k but lost 77 vs AJ with a river jack for a sizeable one. Probably around 90k or so now.

Just won a 41k pot at 100/200 in the main ❤️

He was a Spurs fan but got a free match ticket and paid £50 for 90 mins of pressing a few buttons? I wouldn’t wanna lose that job!

One of my mates used to do the football updates at Spurs; got paid a match ticket, £50 and had a PDA he had to enter all of the action onto. If he made more than a couple of mistakes or was more than a few seconds at pressing the action then he would get disciplined!

Might as well do a quick update as I'm waiting for the server upgrade to finish. The mrs and I fly out to Malta on Thursday, decided to sell most of my action and play day 1b of the main event on the Friday which should be good fun. Looking forward to hopefully meeting @RayL @Stubbe-Unibet @AndreiBN as well as a few others when we're out there. In terms of the HU grind I went through a very unmotivated period for quite a long time and got distracted very easily by things such as my PS4. Since getting rid of the PS4 and just focusing solely on poker my volume has increased massively and I'm having a decent September, I haven't got the results to hand but probably something like +€1.8k, maybe €2k. One thing that I try and do daily to improve motivation is watch the streamer All in Pav. For me he's not the most overly entertaining streamer (he's still good) but he's a guy that is playing and studying almost every day. He's moved up the MTT ranks very quickly over the past couple of years from nowhere and he's going to make 6 figures this year just playing your regular online tournaments. He also did a podcast with JoeIngram1 on Youtube which is a couple of hours long but well worth a listen. Every time I switch on it makes me think I am simply not working as hard as this guy and I need to be. My sleeping pattern is absolutely terrible at the moment. Recently I've been sleeping something like 2pm-8pm then 2am-4am. Not only am I missing a lot of the good times for volume but I'm constantly tired and I really need to sort it out by Friday! That's about it really. If anyone is going to be in Malta later this week let me know!

Doesn't seem to be an issue for Pokerstars, Party, iPoker etc so why would it be an issue for Unibet? At low traffic times such as early in the morning it'd be easy to play a specific opponent as the lobby currently stands because nobody else is sitting. Provided Unibet have the correct detection tools in place for chip dumping, which they already do, it's not an issue at all.

My mate sent me the same thing on FB: @Stubbe-Unibet why can a message not be sent to this/these player(s) telling them that timebanking every single decision on every hand is now against the TOS? I know you're looking at timebank changes but that's not going to change much vs someone like this. This guy will ruin a recreational player's experience so much.

Here's a shocking concept if you don't want to play the satellite tree for a Unibet Open.... don't register for a Unibet open satellite. There's plenty of normal cash tournaments that pay cash prizes and the lobby clearly states (in more than 1 place) that winners will receive a ticket. One minute of due dilligence looking at the €4 qualifier will show you that it's for the €25 then €250 qualifiers. It's not hard. Furthermore, they're adding money to these centrolls as there is always an overlay so they're obviously doing it for a purpose - to get more people involved in the UO satellites. If you want that benefit, then you have to accept the process. Just because you're not smart enough to read doesn't mean that these satellites are a joke, they present great value for micro stakes players.

If you care this much about losing a few hands as a 65-70% then you don't have the right mental attitude for poker. You're expecting to win them 100%. You're also not showing us how some of these hands happen. If you're losing A5 vs 65 all in on the turn when he has a straight then maybe you're playing badly. We all post bad beats but your constant posting of every ❤️♥️❤️ hand is so tilting. Honestly, nobody here cares about your A7 vs K2 or whatever. Maybe if it was on the bubble for a UO package then it's understandable but in a freeroll or 4nl cash game when you don't even have a full stack? Nope. In PLO equities are so much closer than NLHE, so your expectation that AAxx should win all the time is even more ridiculous. Apologies if I'm coming across as a ❤️♥️❤️ but your incessant posting of every hand is boring the hell out of everyone.

Ended up building to 180k at one point on Friday before losing AQ < AK then TT < AJ where the AJ makes a terrible call after I’ve shoved 25bb over his 2.5x open. Hadn’t shoved once on that table but obviously some players want to put their stack in with AJ after playing for 10 hours. Proceed to double up twice back to 16bb, to which I jammed A8 from the HJ and got called in 2 spots by 77 and KK. No ace to be found anywhere unfortunately. The Goliath isn’t potentially a very good tournament with a massively prize pool but can get very expensive witg re-entries, cash games, casino games, food, drinks and hotels. Decided to drive back home early and get on the heads up grind again. However, I definitely feel like there were few if any better players on any of my tables over the past 2 days so I’ve got a renewed motivation to get on the MTT satellite grind again.

Just flopped quads in a 3 bet pot and lost to turned quads.. it’s so stupid you have to laugh.

Would love to say Goliath is going well but I drove up at 6am yesterday to queue for the alternates list as the day was full. Got in around 12:40pm and managed to gradually build the stack to around 80k from 25k without seeing any premiums before losing AQ vs KJ on AT8Q in a 3b pot and then a 180k pot where I reshove over an open and 60k shove (600/1200) with QQ. Woman who opened then calls both of us with KK, other guy has 77. Board runs complete bricks, sigh. Queued today at 6:30 for a registration desk that opened at 8:30 and was still 112th in the queue, apparently people arrived at 3am just to get a seat! Got seated not long ago, shoved a straight flush draw on the turn and got a fold, then squeezed T8cc on the button vs 2 players pre to get both fold to fold. Feel like im gonna finish today with either 500k or busto in 1 level! Im rocking the unibet hoodie for the run good @Stubbe-Unibet! Will have over £100k for first for a £125 MTT, think it’ll have around 9k runners after today. No idea why the pic is sideways?

Griz in the past 4 weeks I think I've had 4 double trouble tickets, 4 super double trouble and even 1 VIP double trouble (a tournament for players that have done so bad that week it's not even shown in the client to protect us from being hunted 🤣) It can always get worse!

Thanks mate! You’ve definitely reassured me, looking forward to it. Did a quad bike safari a couple of hours outside of Cape Town when I was there in 2017 and it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done. Best part had to be hearing how the one male rhino had impregnated all the females within 6 months and apparently they refuse to mate until their offspring have grown up so the male’s eagerness had left him celibate for the next 5-6 years 🤣

I feel like on Unibet I either win massively or lose massively. Some breakeven weeks might be quite nice.

Hi @Nestabear, where in South Africa are you based? I'm going on holiday there next year and I wondered how safe it's going to be to drive from Cape Town around the south coast to Port Elizabeth? I've been to Cape Town before and felt surprisingly safe given what you hear in the media but not sure what to expect in the more rural areas? Obviously a lot going on between the black/white farmers these days. Cheers!
