  1. Analysis by a Rec. 1. It's the first hand and the button raises, I'm out of position, I fold.......100%........... 2. ...... BUT, if it was 97s I might have called or....... 3. ..... if I'd seen villain play before and knew he was loose, I might have called........... 4. .......or I might just call because I feel like it............. 5. .......or I might think "They're all trying it on at this level" and called.......... 6. ......or I might just fold. I'm out of position and going to have to act first on the flop, basically not having a single clue about my opponent or what he's likely to have or do. 7. I don't play Hexas.šŸ˜ƒ 8. Which brings me to the point @GamesDean made earlier, if you'd folded you wouldn't know wether you'd been lucky or not. You were lucky to hit the flop so hard but unlucky villain hit it slightly harder. On balance I'd say you were 0lucky. When he raises you've really no idea what he's got, an overpair, AK, 44, a flush draw, overcards, absolutely nothing, anything, whatever. You can't really fold so just have to go with it. Definitely 0lucky. 9. You certainly look busy and very involved in the maths etc, good luck in your efforts.šŸ‘ Easy defend imo Gr1z, getting 3.5/1 on a call for just 4% more of our stack. The lower stakes you play and more likely the opponents are to overvalue their hands the wider we should be defending. In a ā‚¬1 game not a single rec is not going broke with AA on a 994cc but in a ā‚¬100 a reg will only look to get 2 streets of value to protect against 9x.
  2. As promised šŸ˜ƒ 10s - 1246 games, ā‚¬809.60 profit, 6.5% ROI pre-RB 25s - 8876 games, ā‚¬15,362 profit, 6.9% ROI pre-RB (original graph was wrong date order) 50s - 4183 games, ā‚¬5,802 profit, 2.8% ROI pre-RB 100s - 1866 games, ā‚¬5,072 profit, 2.7% ROI pre-RB All stakes - 16,171 games, ā‚¬27,045.60 profit, 4.3% ROI pre-RB
  3. Grind has been pretty quiet the last few days hence the lack of updates. I've managed to put together a graph of my all time 25s results for heads up though. :cash: There was a report support sent me that broke results down by individual game so I've requested it for the other stakes and will see post when I've got. Really motivating to look at when things aren't going too well.
  4. Your calcs must be wrong as I got 279,441.
  5. I just did 0.93847 (returns after rake) x 3 * WR% If you put in 0.36 for 36% WR it gives 0.6% ROI for example.
  6. @Brockywell, table looks nice. But what about 'guy' like me with WR 15-20% ? What is my ROI (-40% or just close to -60%) :scared: My advice to you is to win the jackpot in the first 10 games then never play again šŸ¤£
  7. It's all fun and games at the 10s. Decided this would be a good river to bluff and ended up getting snap called. Me: He's raised pre, bet the flop, barrelled the turn and jammed the river. I have king high, this should be a fold. Also me: But I have the nut kicker with my king high!
  8. I won 4 out of 5 Hexas today and profited 1bi as they were all 1.5x. After your 35% win ratio and losing 12bi it made me wonder what our WR needs to be in these games to be profitable so I did a quick calculation: Pretty crazy to think that 36% is effectively break-even with a shed load of variance to go with it. Anything less than 37% WR would make these completely unattractive to grind and how many players are going to be winning at 37-38%+ at the 10s/25s+?
  9. I've recovered slightly since but this was how today was going šŸ¤£
  10. For those with an interest in STT SNGs (5/6 mans), this guy is probably the top 6 max hyper grinder in the world. Just listen to the way he talks about bubble spots (hint: He tells you to play them the exact same way that our professional troll criticises). www.twitch.tv/slayerv1fanpoker
  11. Yeh I'm taking a break at the moment. Contemplating streaming tonight and having a 10bi shot at the 25s with the profit from the challenge so far then dropping down to the 10s should I lose that. While I do think it's good to take breaks, I hate doing it because ultimately it's just wasted time, especially when I'm still playing well.
  12. If you're bored of rants feel free to unsubscribe because here we go. Log back in after some food, fire up a few Hexas and just get destroyed beyond belief. It appears that there is nothing I can do at the moment. First game, back to back hands aipf (3x): Second game aipf (1.5x): Third game (3x), all in on the river: Fourth game aipf, not a massive beat but just another loss (1.5x): Fifth game, apparently I can never have more than 3 outs (3x): Sixth game, finally get a 5x. 3b jam out of the BB, get absolutely snapped off by the monsterous QJo: Final game, what the :Hearts::Heart: is going on? 11 buy ins down dropped in ridiculous fashion. Makes you wonder why we even bother at times.
  13. After shoving Ax into AA about 7 times over the past week it's nice to finally get one the other way! Lost 4 off the bat, 77 < QQ first game, rivered in a flip game 2, OSED bricks vs whale's overpair after he shoved all in pre for about 10 hands because he lost 1 pot. Those long-term blog readers amongst you will know I've talked about how I seem to strangely log in and lose 10bi without winning a game far more often than seems possible so I'm logging out before that happens. Feel like I'm being severely ā¤ļøā™„ļøā¤ļø tested at the moment.
  14. No is the answer. Iā€™ve asked many times but poker is not high enough priority.
  15. I'm absolutely pumped at the moment. Just had a horrible, horrible day at the tables and still managed to finish up. Probably should've ended the session half an hour before I did as I started getting a bit tired/tilted but through the middle part where I was getting absolutely bent over I was playing so good and it's only a matter of time before I stop missing every meaningful flop. Some of the ā¤ļøā™„ļøā¤ļø you see at the ā‚¬10s feels like it's gonna leave you with PTSD. Going to shot take the ā‚¬25s when I get to ā‚¬1k which is a while away as the bankroll currently sits at ā‚¬866.27 but a good day tomorrow and hopefully I'll get there. Was going to originally try at ā‚¬1250 but man I am so done with the 10s. Currently at a 7.27% ROI over 511 games at the 10s which I'll take but I reckon 10% is definitely attainable if I cut the number of tables and ran a bit better.
  16. Haha wasn't sure but he had a similar style to you. GGs.
  17. Pretty sure you used 6 aliases against me tonight?
  18. GL. Did I just play 20+ games vs you?
  19. 100/200/25 blinds, Hero has 6k, other 2 stacks have 2k each. ICMizer has hero shoving 72% profitably which seems fairly consistent to what I would have been shoving, even if I maybe very slightly wider. Important to note that it says SB can only call 6.2% profitably with BB at 9.6%. This means that AJo and 77 are a fold for SB.
  20. Of course you can shove super wide on the bubble into short stacks as they can only profitably fall a very tiny part of their range due to ICM. If you want to improve at poker I wouldnā€™t take any advice from a guy that is barely beating the games after 4 years of playing them.
  21. An ego war would suggest fight on both sides. Wudu is so scared of playing me heads up he refuses to even acknowledge the challenge šŸ¤£ For someone thatā€™s perfected the theoretical understanding of poker maybe one day heā€™ll win for more than a paltry 5%* and grow some balls. * Estimated 5%, of course.
  22. Maybe I'll seek some coaching from someone that estimates their ROI to be around 5%. Still more than what you made during your recent 5 man adventure.... tenor I'm going to miss those easy double-ups... Ahh yes, that session of 6 games where I won 2, ironically for a 5% profit. Imagine playing 5 mans for 4 years and only having a 5% LOL. I'm up for a HU challenge any time you want, just let me know when. Anyway, back to real business. Clawed back the 15bi loss from yesterday with a 15.6bi win today. Hopefully Wudu will accept a HU challenge so I can add some easy money to the bankroll but given he has more estimates than a builder I won't hold my breath that he's not all talk.
  23. :atisfied: Classical line... But hey, during your 5 man adventure, your un-opened, pre flop go to move was to go all-in with everything once you had the chip-lead. I don't know whether that's much smarter... I can see how it might be easy for you to get confused with the differences of someone shoving 14 times pot heads up with no ICM consideration and shoving wide into the short stacks on the bubble of a 5 man, given your clear flawless theoretical knowledge of poker. Look, we can't all be perfect. But hey, with a 7.4% ROI at ā‚¬10/25 5 mans and a 6.9% ROI over 9000 ā‚¬25 HUSNGs, what do I know? Maybe I'll seek some coaching from someone that estimates their ROI to be around 5%.
  24. It's relentless mate. I've got people trying to gift me money but Unibet doesn't seem to want to allow it. Just had this as we speak:
