Guys, I would like to make a suggestion regarding the ticket exchange policy. As far as I understand it, Unibet's goal by disallowing ticket exchanges was to make sure, that people use up their tickets, play the target tournaments and come back with "fresh" money to play the qualifiers again. Thus making sure that the target tournaments hit or even exceed the GTDs.

Over the last few months, I played a lot of my qualifier tickets. However now comes the time that I have to use my own money again and I took a look at the daily qualifier schedule. In the 5/10 Euro buy-in range, there are 3 daily "multiple tix" qualifiers that run pretty often:

    • 5 Euro R/A to 50 Euro (3 Tix) at 7:15 CET
    • 5 Euro to 25 Euro (3 Tix) at 8:45 CET
    • 10 Euro to 50 Euro (3 Tix) sometime between those two

All those qualifiers are great, they are well thought through, they don't take too long and playing them is entertaining. But here comes the kicker: I like to play freezeout tournaments, I have nothing against a R/A during lower buy-in satellites, however I'm not interested in playing higher level R/A games.

If you look at the tournament schedule, there are 3 daily 25 Euro freezeouts (Deep Space, Abyss, Gargle Blaster), however you're only offering 1 weekly 50 Euro freezeout tournament (Milky Way). Since I'm currently already sitting on 3 50 Euro tickets, it wouldn't be very smart to buy into any qualifiers leading to a 50 Euro ticket. Basically, I would like to inject fresh money into the Unibet tournament schedule, but I cannot due to the changed exchange policy.

I now would like to make the following suggestion, you may want to think about:

What about if you decided to offer 1 or 2 weekly "50 Euro MTT to 2*25 Euro MTT" EXCHANGE tournaments? 25 Euro tickets mostly lead to other "target" tournaments where GTDs have to be hit (Gargle Blaster...) and the qualifiers you can use them on (Unibet Open, Supernova...) are of even higher priority to you guys than the 50 Euro tournaments you're offering.

Like I mentioned in the beginning, this is just a suggestion, however I don't see a way how my proposal would hurt the intention behind your changed ticket policy.

I have a 10 euro cash ticket which previously I requested to change to MTT tickets via the community forum. If I wanted to chhange it again will I now have to enter these torunaments on Saturdays? What are they called?

Sorry bro, the only way you can use your cash ticket now is to play cash games with it. The money is "freed" once you see the respective number of flops.

    @RayL

It would be cool if you could switch the tickets you win through challenges to bonus points or something similar.

I wouldn't call it a done deal, but Bayern is the heavy favorite again. But they're not THAT strong, it's just that the Bundesliga sucks big league. Last year, Schalke finished 2nd, however no other team finished second with less points than they did for at least over a decade. The BvB's season was a complete trainwreck, yet we qualified for the UCL. Hoffenheim lost 3 players to Bayern, sucked in the Europa League, yet they also reached the UCL.

The only team having a realistic chance of competing with Bayern is the BVB, however we have a lot of young players, a new (albeit great) coach and haven't bought our main striker yet, so yeah, chances are rather small. Other teams like Schlacke, Red Bull or Leverkusen never even won a Bundesliga title in their history. There's always a surprise team making moves for a short while like Hoffenheim and Frankfurt last year, Köln and Freiburg the year before and maybe Gladbach this year, but that won't be enough for the title.

Just want to add that Schalke is currently the team in the Bundesliga with the second largest deficit on the transfer balance this season.

However the transfer balance is only at -30 M, because you're unable to generate any income from your departing players. So the idea that Schalke is getting a stronger team (30 M investment surplus so far) is false if your best players leave for nothing. And yes, this includes Max Meyer (#3 Schalker according to kicker grades last year), otherwise Heidel wouldn't have tried to extend him for 5 M per year.

Just look at the BvB, how it's done! So far, Diallo, Delaney and Wolf in, however we also made money by selling Sokratis, Yarmolenko and Castro. Schürrle will be next.

    Is there even a pre-season where you're not hyped about S04? 😃

Transfermarkt.de numbers are like political poll numbers, funny to look at, but if you're taking them seriously, you'll be in for some huge surprises.

I just find it funny, that you're stressing the tm-value of Sane and Uth (40 M together) and compare it to the actual transfer fees (7 M) and determine that your team is now 33 M "stronger". However on the other hand, you'll ignore the fact that you lost 58 M in tm-value (Goretzka and Meyer) and received zilch in return (again...).

Towards my expections it was just awful final. Salah out and it totally changed their play. Karius, cmon go ❤️♥️❤️ yourself. And once again Klopp, monkey in shoulders is getting quite heavy i would think.

Well, next year we try again...

I guess Leno has a new potential destination here. Karius has to be gone after a showing like that...

Klopp has only one final win out of 6 chances. I really hope he has learned his lesson. That Sevilla match second half was just awful.

 You should drop down to your knees and praise the Lord every day that you guys managed to sign Klopp. 2 out of those 5 cup losses came against Bayern, 1 against a red hot Wolfsburg team lead by de Bruyne where the BVB had massive problems in Klopp's last season (last in the Bundesliga at the half way point). And one loss against a 2 time defending champ FC Sevilla.

If you don't want him, we'd take him back for sure...

  8. I think you said it best, Schalke is not the most talented team in the league and they're losing two important players. Thus game-planning and preparation are so important for your squad. However with UCL duties coming up, this will be extremely difficult. To repeat myself, just look at Hoffenheim last year.

In addition to that, Schalke scored 63 points, that's less points than any other 2nd place team scored for over 10 years (didn't bother to check the stats past 06/07). Apart from Bayern, the Bundesliga has been a disaster performance wise and S04 managed to use that to their advantage. I'm not knocking Schalke's performance because of that, I'm just saying that teams like the BVB, Red Bull, Leverkusen and Gladbach have much more room to improve next year.

Yes, Fährmann at #16 in the goal-keeper ranking is a bad joke...

    3 things:

I think the players you mentioned from Schalke are solid Bundesliga players, but nothing more. You could do the same list with Red Bull Leipzig or Gladbach, for instance. You mentioned the kicker-grades for Naldo and Salif Sane, however you declined the importance of Meyer who finished the season as the best Schalke midfielder according to that ranking.

Look at Hoffenheim's performance in the Bundesliga when they were still playing Europa League and once they were eliminated. When Schalke has to play twice a week, Tedesco won't have enough practice time to prepare his squad as well as he did last year.

Kicker-grades are funny to look at but to be taken with a big grain of salt. Personally, I think the writers from kicker like to get high on their own supply a little too much for my taste. According to them, Bürki and Götze have been the best BVB players in 17/18.  According to them, Robert Lewandowski (2.73) and Serge Gnabry (2.75) almost had the same level of performance last year.

IMO no way Leno and even Bailey stay at Leverkusen. They choked the Champions League for next season, and from september it will be even harder to be top4. Bayern, Lepizig, Schalke wont get easier to beat, and Dortmund under Favre will be top team again. Plus the dark horse Hoffenheim, or Stuttgart. So they will move for sure.

Leon Bailey had 14 great games between matchday 6 against the HSV and matchday 20 against Mainz. Over the last 13 games in the Bundesliga, not only his kicker grades went down the drain he also only scored 1 goal and 1 assist over that time period.

Schalke (and Hoffenheim) will get problems due to playing UCL and losing important players without getting anything in return (Goretzka/Meyer).

I also wanted Favre for us last year and hopefully he'll make the BVB great again. Maybe with Balotelli? I want to see celebrations like this again:

I could easily see that Leno stays, at least till january. He wants to Atletico but Oblak will sign new contract and there is big chance he will stay cause PSG is almost done with Buffon so they will not go for him. Arsenal and Napoli will not wait indefinately for Leno, and he dont want to Napoli so were left with Arsenal but the question will they pay top dollar for keeper where they need reinforcements elsewhere. There is Liverpool but there is no interest in him at the moment. Milan is not selling Donnaruma at the moment, and its pretty much thats it.

Two unsettled keepers in Chelsea and ManU. One of them off and market will change instantly.

🤣 Leverkusen's paying Hradecky 5,5 M Euro per year over 5 years! He's their new starter and Leno's gone!

What about Juve? Real Madrid could be looking at a new keeper as well...

No, I have to save my money for potential snap elections in Germany and the mid terms in November. Not much money left to #yolo gambooool. Besides:

And Köln is gone, however the interesting part is that over the past 13 matchdays, the FC didn't gain even one point on the 15th place team. Wolfsburg which is nothing but a dead corpse now, scored as many points as Köln over that span.
