  1. Elite goalie? Elite CBs? Elite defensive RB? Then we have Sancho, Brandt, Sabitzer, Malen, Maatsen who are top class players. My only hope is that we win it now and Edin then steps down. Otherwise it's #EdinForever. Cup win in 21, almost won the Buli in 23, UCL final in 24.
  2. Hannover 96 legends Joselu and Füllkrug playing in the UCL final! And of course the Polski ref had to fuck things up in the end! A loss to Real wouldn't hurt as much as a loss to Bayern, however Real looks beatable. Maybe Lord Edin can sell another family member to the devil and we'll be marching on! If the BVB wins, the Buli will have 6 UCL starters next year! Totally deserved as it's by far the best league in Europe! Marco Reus' final match of his BVB career! Bellingham vs the BVB! Sancho vs Bellingham!
  3. How was I wrong in that regard? The BVB is in fifth place in the Buli. If Edin's masterplan was to set up a team that can match up against UCL clubs that are stronger on paper yet cannot control the game against weaker teams in the league, then I have to say "Sorry, Lord Edin, you're a tactical genius". Oh nooooo, the French champion didn't perform as well in their Mickey Mouse league as you expected. They must be bums. Also, PSV overperformed in their Mickey Mouse league, but they're bums as well. Shitty had freaking Copenhagen, Real needed the refs to get past Red Bull, Arsenal has performed much worse in the UCL than Atletico, but yeah, easy draw... I don't know? Love Island Suomi? Some re-run on LFC TV? You'll find something to watch...
  4. Oh no, It's not fair!!!!!! I demand judges like in figure skating, to determine the artistic impression of the respective teams! Oh no, the BVB had an easy path. Playing the group of death and finishing first against PSG, Milan and Newcastle was such a lucky draw.... Playing PSG 4 times and only losing once due to a penalty is such a lucky draw. You act like we played Bergamo and Sturm Graz. @jerry Sometimes you draw really good conclusions and see things nobody else expected. And sometimes you post stuff like today! You're as consistent as our Milfhunter. 0 goals conceded in 180 minutes vs Donatello, Dembele, Barcola, Kolo Muani, Goncalo Ramos. That was due to absolute elite performances by Hummels, Ryerson, Schlotti, Kobel and (in part) Maatsen. How anyone can consider Ryerson's defensive effort yesterday as "average" is beyond me. Sabitzer had another great game today, for the role he's playing in the team. Have you seen him in the 2nd game vs Atletico? You know the importance of "role" and "team" in a sport like football or basketball? Brandt also had a great game until he ran out of gas. Just look at Milfhunter's chance in the first half. PSG pressures, the BVB clears the ball, Sancho gets it to Brandt and instead of clearing it under pressure, Brandt finds Adeyemi for the counter attack. Sancho was excellent as well. His 1 on 1 threat on the outside is what forces opposing teams to provide him with extra attention. BVB-Real or BVB-Bayern would be great entertainment. Edin vs Tommy in Marco Reus' final game for the BVB.
  5. What a game! Augsburg +1 next Saturday sounds like a good bet now. No way in hell are the BVB players motivated for that game. Also, I'm expecting a lot of rotation.
  6. Funny how Bayern adds highly priced defenders every year only to be disappointed. That was pretty rough from Kim today.
  7. Bayern-Real later today and tomorrow we have BVB-PSG. Tomorrow is Labour Day in Germany with 26 ° C in Dortmund, so I'm expecting a great atmosphere: Fans had all day to drink Warm weather, more reason to drink Likely with a great choreography Last meaningful home game of the year Dembele coming back First minutes will be great as long as Edin doesn't fuck it up. Maatsen is questionable, Malen likely out. So I'm expecting this lineup: Kobel Süle-Hummels-Schlotti-Ryerson Can Sabitzer Brandt Sancho Adeyemi Fülle There might also be the chance that Adeyemi gets benched and someone like Reus plays. Bayern is currently being sabotaged from within. This time it's Uli Honess' turn. First he went public stating that Rangnick is their #3 choice because Alonso and Nagelsmann declined. Then he called out our boy Tommy T for not looking after the young players enough, which led to Tommy feeling insulted in post match interviews. Then Uli praised Xabi Alonso as a man of honour for not coming to Bayern and staying at Leverkusen. Rangnick is currently under contract with Austria.
  8. Is Shitty still being "investigated" for paying players, coaches and agents under the table? After the top-6 clubs all wanted to leave for the Super League? Well, well, well... is the government threatening to get involved? Is the sugar daddy system getting out of hand and I was right once again?
  9. I thought you would mention van Basten, Ruud Gullit and Johan Cruyff as well. But OK, please name one Eredivisie coach who had success at a top club immediately after leaving the Netherlands. Huub Stevens winning the UEFA Cup with the Smurfs in 97? Louis van Gaal with Barca? There are not so many... Firesale at Lidl? https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-news-virgil-van-dijk-32684073
  10. The Lidl seems to be closing earlier than expected! Which bitterness? The first two Dutch players on your list are actually good players. I think you need to finally spend some money and give Arne a compatriot for your offense. 75 M + boni and Donny Malen could be all yours.
  11. Currently thinking about whether it makes sense to watch the highlights... How Edin still has his job (finishing outside the regular UCL spots) and even gets support here is beyond me. Leverkusen scoring in 90+6 to keep the unbeaten streak alive.
  12. Already looking forward to Arne Video-Poker continuing the long history of successful Eredivisie transfers!
  13. Buli-bros, I think I'm going to finish the Buli season a little earlier this year and skip the next 4 BVB Buli games: Red Bull, Augsburg, Mainz and Darmstadt with nothing left to play for anymore. RB could be fun, but I don't like these 15:30 matches. Mainz is an 18:30 game, but yeah... 💤 I'm not expecting anything worth watching. The UCL is what counts now: 25 °C next week, so this could be an electric atmosphere in Dortmund, especially with our old friend Dembele returning...
  14. You sound like a retarded Biden supporter (sorry for the pleonasm) in 2020. We'll see how it goes once you replace likely the best coach in today's game with Arne Blackjack from the Netherlands.
  15. Oh no, not Bergamo! Not Everton, either! That's not fair! Give us Sturm Graz or Levski Sofia. Lidlpool just needs to invest more money! That's the key to it all!
  16. I think the first 2 seasons ran on Free-TV here a while ago. As long as the plot stays within the Boot, it's not that bad. Wasn't there some lesbian resistance side plot as well? WTF? And the captain banging some black dancer (at least female) in New York?
  17. Let's be honest, the media has no clue, they're just trying to generate clicks. If it turns out to be Rangnick, my opinion is the same compared to when he joined ManU: He's not a coach for these clubs near the top.
  18. Lars Ricken (shot the famous goal in the 97 UCL final) is now the boss at the BVB when it comes to sport. That's a surprise, since current GM Kehl wanted that spot. Mislintat is returning to the club to scout talents and develop the roster. Actually, I like these developments as it means that the club will hopefully focus more on developing players, as Ricken was head of the youth academy at the club and Mislintat has a eye for talent. Now if we could only get rid of Edin...
  19. But in the end the Bundesliga is 4 weeks of summer football anyway. All 5 UCL spots are set in stone. So Stuttgart and Red Bull have nothing to play for anymore. Maybe end the season on a high note... BVB, Bayern, Leverkusen now focus 100 % on Europe. Freiburg, Augsburg, Hoffenheim will play Euroleague, Conference League or nothing at all next season. Bochum, Mainz, Union are fighting relegation. 2nd Bundesliga is also almost decided. Well, well, well, Düsseldorf making moves...
