Today I saw over at the 4NL Cash Game Pocket Aces destroyer twice! The two times it happened to the same player someone named FreakyFriday.

Hello guys!

Yeah you know all that I got the sh1t, but it's never easy to accept it. I won just once against a pair of aces and were slow played from the beginning, which is not the case shown before. I raised before the flop because that player was re-raising almost every raise from me. So this time I got him good, but seems not. I know when I'm playing bad, but I was expecting for a while this hand and when I have it, this sh1t also happened.

Like usual, I took a break from the game to cool the mind. I wish to you a happy week end!

@GR1ZZL3R: I came back but still weak. Bought an entry for 5 eur to 750 eur Multiverse MTT and for a long time I was the chip leader, until the final 12 players remaining. Than thing got worse and even I played well, the software or fking something else kept donate my chips and frustrating me for a while. Look at this hands, especially at first picture and ridiculous third one. Maybe I'm not a pro but I played my chance and c'mon if this is not something weird I don't know what is it. How the fk a K came on that river? C'mon, this is fking ridiculous and from winner to looser again?!?! If I can't win with AA or a set of queens against a pair of kings how can win something? Wtf is this? The first hand A9o vs Q3s, all in on flop and he's got the turn and river to won. Is this the way to play here? To be ridiculous stupid and fake a hand but still got the results and the income? Instead of getting him out I was out before him.

What is it to be learn from here? Please tell me what is it to learn?

My Ak vs a pair of queens did nothing, but the last Ak vs my pair of 4 won? Is not about reciprocity  or fair in poker, but c'mon, this is the way to loose or won a tournament, to get the stack larger! Again I ask you all, what is it to be learn from this sh1tty hands? Not to play a pair low or big, not to play AK? And another thing that I didn't captured on pic, if I play an A7 vs A8, I'll loose, if somebody play an A3 vs my A5 somehow we split the pot. Not the case with my AJ vs AQ, nooo, we can't split, I have to loose every god damn hand like this. If I play AJ someone will have an AK or AQ and won that pot...

did you go all inn with a pair of 4s on a 10 Q K board ? or did you go all inn preflop or id ya call all inn preflop? caus ei cant figure it out , what happend in that hand?

@fkingun If I finished a tourney in 9th place and earned that much I'd be ecstatic, but seriously ,it cannot be stressed enough the randomness of poker.

1. I understand your pain on this,any runner runner loss is horrible, but unfortunately it happens.

2.All in with AK your behind to QQ anyway and he's favourite to win which he does.

3.All in With AQ to KK your behind again, after the flop your huge favourite, but these things happen.

4.You're behind all the way, nothing else left to say,except at this stage when players are going all in, they're not usually doing it with garbage, so there are going to be a lot of 50-50s and as the odds imply, they're not all going to go you're way. This also applies to 

5.You're a marginal favourite with a pair against 2 overs.

You were behind in 3 which you lost, well ahead in 1 and marginal favourite in 1. I really don't see anything unusual.

 

I can only stress if you're running deep in tournaments and cashing keep going and sooner or later You'll win a few flips, and someone else will be ranting about your luck.

Poker is a very high variance game. 

As @GR1ZZL3R said when you have stuff like AK vs. QQ or AQ vs. KK or even 88 vs. JJ all these things are always going to be coin flips! 

Case in point I could remember in a tournament shoving it with KK to get called by a K7s and the K7s

makes a 1 card straight 7-J, was it a bitter taste? Yes!

Did I play my KK badly? No or perhaps not!

But I did suffer a huge bad beat and life goes on. 

Keep raising your game up but know that because poker is game of such variance and dynamism any hand (doesn’t have to be the highest equity hand) can beat any hand after the community is laid out. 

Vent but don’t blow up....bad beats happen!

A9o vs Q3s - he desperate raise all in preflop, after some similar attempts succeed it with everyone fold. This time he's behind from the flop but somehow gets the turn and the the river.

AKo vs QQ: usually behind 43% vs 56%, but I rarely win with QQ vs Ax and even rare is my wins with QQ vs AK suited or not.

AQo vs KK: you all assumed wrong that was all in, but was not. Lax1Norvegen was the chip leader (225011), I was the second one (97831) and believe it or not I saw him going with nothing and call even river. Ok, now I don't know his hand and he don't know mine. Before the flop (1200/2400/300 - SB/BB/ante) I raised 3bet (7200) and he called me, everyone else folds. On flop I got a set of queens an he is betting 7200. I just called because I want him to put more money on the pot (anyone else would play different?). On turn he checks and I bet 16.350 and as I assumed he called me. It was a slight possibility for him to have a flush so I did not raise all in. On river he checks and I checked also because I thought he nailed that flush, but he nailed the full! :puking:

Odds of this hand: before the flop 28% vs 72% clear behind, but on flop the odds changed to 91% vs 9%, on turn 95.5% vs 4.5%, so where's my mistake? Would you play different?

You know all that in a tournament if you watch some players you can spot some weak moves and get some money from that. So I ask you all again: What's it to be learn from this hand? Bet all in if you have a set and win small? Let the other/others believe that you hadn't so they can "pour" money on the pot or don't and just bet high every time you have it?

I will continue to do MY WAY and try to improve every day I play, but it's har to gain money with this kind of bullsh1t when is involved a big stack or a big amount of money in the pot. Thanks for the advices and good words and See you all at the table. :rockon:

LE: As I finished this post, I played a little cash NL and I got these hands. The first one played with raise and raise, from preflop to river and next one raised 3bet by me and all in by him, this time unibet donate my money, back to him, on river... I really hate this sh1t! 🤣

Hi @fkingun Hope your running better. Your analysis of AQ v KK was spot on imo and many players would have done no different. He probably checked the river hoping you were fishy and YOU had the flush or an under house so he would make more money. Many novices would have bet in your position so I think you got away fine with that, always look for the positivesand dont beat yourself or the software up. @Shoryureppa is right, 4 runner straights (and flushes) suck but life goes on, its only a game etc etc etc: we could all sit here and moan about bad beats all day (and night) but isn't it better to concentrate on the next hand and enjoy the challenge? Tried one more time today in 750 Eur Multiverse but no luck. Again a fking surprise on river ruin my stack with the lowest pair but called me until the river. On river he just checked and I knew he's got the set... Bleah. Lasta hand of the MTT, tried to gains some stack, bet all in pre flop a middle pair (nines) but no luck against AK. 🤣

Again big lost with AA! AA vs 66 vs 99. This is hilarious and weird as fck and only a unibet poker software developer can explain what the fk is wrong with this software?!?!?!?! How the fk the lowest pair can win like this! Something stinks here...

@Livertool: Good one! But I still can't beat the river. Very very rare I got the river, when I'm clearly behind. Look at Omaha hands to see river lost there... Fking sh1t, I can't imagine how the fk is this possible?! The jacks full beaten by aces full on river, is incredible ridiculous, but completely normal here... 😠

But this is "normal" on unibet to loose with pocket Aces to almost every fking hand, isn't it?

Bought 2 entry on 500€ Multiverse, got beaten and out of stack two times, come back three times from scratches and bought also an addon, but still nothing on results. Again I lost with pocket Aces vs KTo and a straight on flop. I came back from scratches again and again, but every time that I had something, got beaten and my stack goes down.

On Omaha the same results, with a decisive turn, when I lost, again fking ridiculous on river, with jacks full against a aces full!!!! Then I become tilted and everything goes bad.

Did I mention before, that I really really HATE THE FKING RIVER! 🆒

So minus 22.83€ was the total for today. 😞

Twice unibet took my money and gave it to this player! This is not poker, this is simply bullsh1t! Would anybody explain why I lost 5 hours from 2 euro to build up to 19.5 euro and than unibet, probably bored did this? Unibet change a hand won from the flop? great work unibet...

Please check the hands again. First hand: that money never was yours. Opponent already had the full on the flop so you were always behind. Second hand: the river really hurts you, but when you check it again your last €3,03 call was also a bad move.

@psrquack: true that. The 1st hand was never mine, it was just a preview of this one. Unibet has a very strange was to distribute cards. For some the flop remains the winner, for other it changes 180 degrees. I couldn't check the river, it was a call for me. He bet, i called.
