I see the card to Arthur in the stats, but the settlement is made as a draw, meaning they've registered it as there were no more cards given in the match from the time you placed the bet. @OOO I don't believe the live chat agents can state much else than that there is an active bonus program, but how it specifically works is not something we wish to disclose. The bonus system is relatively new and it's a new way of doing things. In relation to that, I'd argue that a simple cash back system where you get a certain bonus upon depositing or playing for x amount of money, along with the possibility of going to customer support to ask "can I have a bonus?" would be the old way of doing things :) You can see the same theme in poker, where the old way was regular rakeback where you got cash back depending on how much you'd raked within a certain period. The system we use now for that is based around missions and challenges, where you e.g get a poker ticket the first time in the month where all cards on the flop, turn and river are red as in diamonds or hearts. /Jeppe

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this one yesterday @Jepper, but the bet as described on the betslip is for when the occurence is awarded and not taken. The corner kick was awarded at 117:57 and thus unfortunately just a few seconds to early for the bet to be a winner. This is the official rule: Section B.5.3: Occurrences which have not been sanctioned and/or acknowledged by the match/event officials (e.g. disallowed goals) will not be taken into account towards the settlement of the bet. As a general rule, and unless the offer specifies otherwise, [the Operator] will settle offers based on the exact time that the flow of play was interrupted/resumed (as applicable) by the occurrence in question (e.g. ball went out of play for a throw-in/goal kick or crosses the line for a goal), or play is interrupted by the referee, whichever is earliest. Bets referring to the accumulation of a particular occurrence (e.g. Total corners) and/or the execution of a particular action, will require said occurrence to actually take place during the time interval specified (e.g. the corner being kicked). In such instances, should the occurrence be only awarded and not taken, it will not be considered for settlement purposes. /Jeppe

@OOO It's a fair point, I realize that quite a few other sites do it differently than us. Our bonus system as you know is automated, so you're right that it's dependant on calculations within an algorithm like you mention yourself. We believe there are mostly benefits to this method compared to a bonus system where you for example always can see how much more you need to deposit to get a certain amount bonus money. The idea behind the bonus system is to make it so you and other player get the possibilty of a bonus at a fitting time, but without you knowing when exactly it would be due to the calculations showing in your bonus section. If it was visible exactly when you'd get a bonus, I see it as a bit of a whip where players would feel quite heavily incentivised to e.g make a deposit, "because I want the bonus". Playing at Unibet should be fun, so this isn't something we want for the bonus system and believe that the bonus should instead hit your account organically so to speak, at a time where you feel it's appropiate, but also might get a little surprised by it - a good surprise :) It's our job to make sure that happens and that the bonus system works as inteded. In general I'd say it works quite well and negative feedback on the bonus system isn't something we see too much of. Not having bonus calculations public also ensures that it's ours, and not something one of our competitors could easily copy and emulate. It also used to be possible to ask for a bonus with e.g with a live chat agent or even here on the community, but we removed that as well to reduce the amount of contacts on it and it's helped the agents focusing on players with problems where they can really help out. In terms of promotions based on playing x amount to get a certain reward, e.g a Free bet of a certain amount like in our Multiple Free Bet promo, we do have plenty of those and when making use you'd always know beforehand of the specific requirements. Lastly, we focus a lot on promotions that has a competition element to it. A lot of players really like these because of that competion element and you'll find that we do e.g both casino tournaments and betting championships where players can see live how they're doing compared to other players taking part. We've taken this element highly into the community as well, making small competitions that are more personable and where you can engage with the other players taking part. So all in all I'd say our promotion offering is quite varied and there are something for all of the different kind of players that we have :) It's small thread derail as this thread is about if none of this was possible, but I'm happy to discuss and share some of our thoughts behind what we do :) /Jeppe

This one is settled correctly as to what took place in the match within the interval. There throw in was awarded at 67:24, please note that the bet were for events in the 68th minute. There was a goal kick awarded in the interval, but at 67:58 :

@IB53 Heard back from the sportsbook on this just now, we've voided the bets for Club Atlético Alvarado - San Jorge Tucumán - Total Goals 2.5 since the match was officially ended by the referee at the 59th minute because the away team refused to continue playing. The bets were settled in accordance rule Section B.5.8 which states that: "In cases of events which have not been completed before their natural conclusion, and a result is issued through a decision by the association not more than 12 hours from the event’s start, [the Operator] will use the issued decision as the official result for offers related to the event's outcome, such as Match, Draw No Bet and Double Chance granted that the issued decision does not change the outcome of the said bet offers at the time of the abandonment. In that case the stakes will be refunded. All offers referring to the tallying of particular occurrences (example: Total Goals, Handicaps, etc) will be declared void except for those the outcomes of which have been decided prior to the abandonment and could not possibly be changed regardless of future events, which will be settled according to the decided outcome." /Jeppe

As I mentioned in the thread for another member that I linked to, having a bet where the live stats where showing wrong information, but the odds itself on the bet being correct as to the actual situation in the match, is not something I can have re-settled. I do apologize for the stats showing incorrect, it's pretty rare, but it does happen from time to time. Since the stats are seen as an added feature to the live betting section, we do not re-settle. I realize it might sound a bit harsh, but it goes both ways in the way that we do not void winnings bet either on the basis of the live score being incorrect. Officially, the rule is described like this: Section B.1.6: Statistics or editorial text published at the Unibet site are to be considered as added information, but Unibet does not acknowledge or accept any liability whatsoever if the information is not correct. At all times it is the Account Holder’s responsibility to be aware about circumstances relating to an event. Section B.5.1: When settling results [the Operator] will do its utmost to attain itself to information obtained first hand (during or exactly after the event has been concluded), through TV transmissions, streaming (web-based and through other sources) as well as official sites. Should this information be omitted from first hand viewing and/or official sources and/or there is an obvious Error in the information included in the sources above, the settlement of the bet offer will be based on other public sources. Recently we've seen some local rule changes in certain countries - for example in Sweden - which compared to the past limits our possibilites of offering promotions. Specifically what we can offer there now is one welcome bonus for new players upon signing up, and this goes across our mother company "Kindred Group" who also features other brands. So one welcome bonus maximum for any of the brands that Kindred Group have available in Sweden. So if you've e.g used a welcome bonus on Unibet, we won't be able to offer it on Mariacasino. We're all for following the local rules and working with the gaming authoroties of any country that require us to hold a local license, but of course we also want to offer the best overall product available. The igaming industry has always been heavily filled with various promotions across different sites and quite often it's a big part of why people chose to play one place vs another, but if you imagine the scenario above of only one welcome bonus being possible in whatever country you may be from, what would be most important for you that we focus on in the future to make Unibet the best possible place for you to play?
