Casino Big Win Competition coming up

@RayLof the mentioned games I've played only Starburst enough to have an opinion.

This slot isn't suitable for the competition at all:

It was mentioned that there are many small wins and rarely a big ones and even the big are nothing compared to more volatile slots. After thousands of spins (I've used Starburst to clear X5 turnover bonuses despite the low RTP ~96%) my biggest win even didn't deserved a screenshot

Also there are no bonus rounds on Starburst and the respins don't produce big enough wins even when 2 or even 3 are present...

Had to read the thread first to see if slots by Microgaming are allowed because the other slot I've played for hours is Game of Thrones 243-ways :happyshy:

At first glance it seems pretty basic slot, but it is something about it that had me hooked

And one of the biggest wins I've ever had were on this slot...

There is a chance during the bonus round to win really big. I've had few ~X1000 and they compensated for the long losing streaks. Afterall I must say that I'm few hundreds ahead and would be even more if I know when to stop

Yep, starburst is useless, can´t win with that in this competition. And book of dead still ain´t available for all and out of those slots it is most likely to give big wins (imo) so that would be kind of unfair to leave it in there. But other than that i could go with those.

Cool, nice promo, will attend.

Just wondering if the casino slots in the suggested line up have any loopholes (bonus meters where you can boost the bonus with higher stakes and release it with lower stakes, etc...) As this was too often a point of discussion in the previous casino promo, I think it's best to get this out of the way before the start by not including games that will create these discussions.

Tagging @Livertool since you're pretty much the expert on spotting those loopholes 😃

That is why i said that all the slots should be availalbe for all so if doa isn´t available for you then it shouldn´t be there either. I actually don´t like it that much, very boring game. But determined to get that wild line in free spins someday, so far about million spins but no luck yet.

@BroederTuck

No loopholes but twin spin deluxe is black hole sucking money :D

It does have value but not in and of itself  is what i was trying to say, meaning it depends on the situation. Poker players could've always tried out slots anyway, however non-poker players getting into poker there's an obvious treshold that needs to be passed. The thing is as a beginner you're not really on a learning process either when being mixed up with everything from good amateurs to pro's but will rather lose without coming out much smarter to show for it, won't know how to utilize the information of what transpired. As far as introductions goes you start maybe on a 1€ or 2€ buy-in, when you're on 1000€ it doesn't serve that purpose anymore it becomes something completely different.

Why is the division between experience or  financial? They are intertwined. Being competitive enough to win is part of the experience in it's own right and with prizes like 50,000€ it's not an aspect i would put as merely a novelty.

@Nospheratu @steppek77 The thing about the first prize is that it's actually courtesy of the poker team - I got a bunch of them to try and get as many community members to our event in Malta, as I argued that we're going to have a great event here - the decision was never for me to add a €2000 cash first prize vs a Unibet Open package. As we had these packages available to give exclusively to community members throughout April, I figured it would be nice to give one of them to the casino players here :)

I do see the argument that it's a bit wild to be thrown into a €1000 buy in tournament and alternatively what we can do, is shorten this tournament to the 26th of April and then give the possibility of a community package where you get an extra day in the hotel, along with buy-ins for the €330 Deep Stack Open tournament as well as a €150 Turbo Tournament organised by Casino Malta. Our goal isn't to get you to play something that makes you uncomfortable, but to come and enjoy a fun time in Malta with what I think will be a fair sized group of community members :)

That is what I would love actually to do, go to Malta for many reason and of course play Poker IRL, then I get a chanse to play the real deal, the Player....I do consider that is a factor of winning, maybe just me but my "gut" \ fellings is realy good for reading people, maybe because of some IRL thingys...that I will not write anywhere...

Dont like the playing with someone I cant see, like the poker client and so on....

Anyway have to be next time, cant afford it now, that is life....I am not to far away but it do cost to travel and so on...dont know if I need a Visa since I am Norwegian but think I would get one easy anyway, so no issue there....just have to wait untill next time, good luck to all who go there and realy enjoy it :)

Nothing is impossible, the impossible only take some time.

Game selection is fine, but I do feel Book of Ra deluxe needs to be included as an alternative to book of dead, as BOD isn’t available in all markets, as Livertool already mentioned.

Also worth noting that the volatility on these games are sooooo different, and it’ll simply be stupid to play some of the games. When it’s a promo that is likely to attract members who have never or rarely played slots, I personally think these should be helped a bit by all games having a similar volatility - it’ll be a pretty bad experience for people who sit down and play e.g. Starburst and never get close to the big wins that you can get on e.g. book of dead.

@mandy1966 and everyone else, the tournament is now live and including instructions here: https://www.unibetcommunity.com/t5/Community-Promotions/Big-Win-Casino-Tournament-Grand-prize-2000-Unibet-Open-package/m-p/145038 :)

I think it's bad that you can't enter the raffle if you managed to get a place on the leaderboard since that doesn't give any advantage anyway.

Disagree, think that's much better - the leaderboard prizes are pretty juicy already, and more members will get a piece of the pie :)
