  1. @Nestabear I really do apologise for butting in, but my name doesn't appear to be on this list. Have I been unfriended? :teardrop:
  2. @Marekss Much as I would love @Nestabear to win this tourney* I don't want him stressing too much, so if he just lets a few more crash out that would be perfectly acceptable. 🤣 *I just can't bring myself to cheer someone to lose. ( Well I can, but not @Nestabear, not this one.)** ** Do you see the turmoil I'm going through, never mind @Nestabear.*** *** Good luck. :cash:👍
  3. Really nice going so far @Nestabear. I think for a tournament like this, finishing 25th-30th would be absolutely ideal. 🤣🤣👍🤣🤣
  4. @Nestabear All in on the bubble. Good luck and I'll back you for 99.99 euros.
  5. Great effort @Zhenis1975 but slightly out of sync. 😃
  6. Not quite the inspiring talk I had in mind. 🤣
  7. The only way is up. Saw the state of you're br in other thread, @Nestabear but check out @Want2Believe and follow him, onwards and upwards. 😃
  8. 😃Just found this thread @Nestabear, we need more like this imo, a good and interesting read. Why not update more often? How did December go? What's the current bankroll? So many questions, we need answers.
  9. Ship it all in @4soul as fast as you can.🤣👍 How near the bubble are you, or final table?:cash: If either turn up with AA it is what it is.
  10. A bit random @puma17 more info would be needed to help.😃
  11. It ain't necessarily so. It looks good when the river hits your flush. Not always! Next hand. Another dream lies crumpled and shattered in the dust.:Waterfall:
  12. However.............. If they want to play, let them. Reasonable flop and two customers. One has second thoughts but one wants to continue. The river seems to make him happy so lets get it in. Action completed.
  13. Action required. Moving on up requires you to see flops to complete your mission.............but what if no-one wants to play. A raise of 3bb, I re-raise. Very next hand, a min raise, I re-raise. Three hands later I raise utg. And the very next hand.............fold away. One circuit, KK twice, 10/10 twice, massive profits to be made here. :Veryangry:
  14. Nice story, and as always everyone says how welcome they are and what a great experience it is. Well done and hopefully see you at the next one, I just can't wait.😃
  15. What you need is someone willing to call you light. I checked the flop hoping for action, nothing so bet the flop small, again hoping for a raise, same on the river, but he certainly called light. Very light!
  16. @Merenitsu I don't know wether it's selective memory or not, but many times I'm thinking the same thing, the big stacks won again with the worst hand pre-flop, I keep meaning to check that more thoroughly but again it's just one of those things I haven't got round to, there's more important stuff to deal with. I do know definitely I don't give as many bad beats as I get, simply because I don't chase the draws with bad odds as often as a lot of players, if the price isn't right I fold unless there's a specific reason for not doing so. It's like battering your head against a brick wall. it's nice when it stops, but we just have to grit our teeth and get on with it. Hope it turns round for you, remember, we're all in it together.🆒
  17. @Merenitsu For good or bad some micro players are willing to get it all in with virtually anything, and it can be hard to play against as you just can't put them on ranges. I try to see the flop cheaply, even with good hands, untill the flop you just can't know, and if it doesn't hit hard then give up to fight again. On the flop your top pair can be crushed by so many hands already and your hand was dead on the turn. I don't know how the betting went, but I would have run away to try again. I may be exploitable like that, but honestly, most, micro players are only looking at their own hand, and when I flop the goods I'll still get payed. One step at a time, it's such high variance you have to be prepared to be stacked a few times before it will surely be your turn to run good. Keep going, and good luck. 👍
  18. It is unlucky to a certain extent @Merenitsu but unfortunately AA is just not as good in PLO, only having about 65% equity against any random hand, so against 3 you are always going to be struggling. It's just maths rather than luck.
  19. @GamesDean I had a tourney the other day I felt all I had to do was call and I was flopping everything, other times I go hours and can't get bottom pair. I know it's random and statistics but has anybody come up with why these things come in clumps. :wonder:
  20. I'm in a bounty tourney for the Monthly Missions, won a few chips, and every hand so far is multi-way, at least three callers, some with 5 or 6, and then I'm dealt the goods. So I sit there quietly waiting for 3 or 4 calls, ready to pounce. I'm not kidding, the absolute first hand where nobody limped. 😠
  21. That's a shame @cris1285 your JJ and KK would be 2 hands to post in the "Cracked Champion" thread, precisely because you lost them. How about sticking with all the freerolls and trying to build back up. Best of luck. 😃
  22. I think you're pretty much right with this "gut" analysis. I've read book after book but a lot of it just goes over my head tbh and the micros sometimes defy analysis and if I sit down at cash, within 5 mins or so, I know who I can take on and who to leave alone, and if the tables too tough just leave. I'm happy where I am, never gonna be a world beater, just plodding along, and my enthusiasm has been so rekindled since joining Unibet and the community. Good luck with your endeavours and Manchester is still on the list.👍
