On winner yesterday at 9/4. This has not been the start I hoped for, all the bigger price selections are running just like that, slowly, so I'm going to re-jig the whole selection and betting process (again). It's so easy to look back at the results and think "Well I should have backed that, it's obvious in hindsight", so I'm taking a lot longer to come up with the picks and be happy that they are the correct ones. Now I've said that watch me pick six losers today.🤣 Ever the optimist I'll not worry too much about the losers, I'm sure the winners will follow, hopefully with a simple staking plan to make a profit.👍

Looking at the bare facts you would appear to be correct, but of those that didn't go to showdown how many were won by the best dealt hand. If there's no showdown it's not possible to say, that 75.7% could all have been won by the best dealt hand, so you're comparing a known % with an unknown %, not really possible.:wonder:

Day 5 Results OK a winner but I'm slightly confused. The slip clearly shows I took the price, 8/1, the horse won at 10/1 at which price I have been paid. Is there a promo on for getting the best price? I can't find one anywhere! :Wonder:

(Again) One out of fifteen so far, not a terrific strike rate, but to be honest I've thrown a couple in just on the price when they don't actually meet all my pre-set criteria, and as the weekend becomes more competitive it's harder to choose, so today's picks will all be fulfilling a stringent selection process.:geek: I'll post the picks but I'm going to watch live and only back them if the price is right as well. Good luck all you other posters, I certainly need some.👍

Thanks @pinki I asked for free bets when I won because I'd started this thread but unfortunately they can't be used on horseracing 😠 so I won't ask about Robin. I'll wait and see if there are any other suggestions, check them out and then post what I'm picking. 👍

Who said that? 🤣 To be honest I'm finding it hard going at the moment as you are (were) but I know things will turn round sometime, hopefully today.👍 By the way, I won 3x10e free bets and have thrown one at England to beat Croatia tomorrow, but need two solid bets before the end of today. Can you or anyone else give me some recommendations, no timewasters please. 🤣

Week 2 Day 1 A New Beginning After giving this a bit of thought I've decided to change tack somewhat. In the past I was never really a fan of multiple bets, preferring to pick the less favoured horses in a more speculative effort, and let each one stand or fall on it's own merits. I know one good day can make up for a few losses but this is just my personal preference, so today I've gone for 4 longer priced selections, but, just in case, I've put a small each way acc. on them. A small loss last week is neither here nor there in the long run, so I'm counting the bankroll as £100 starting today and see how far, if anywhere, it gets me. All these selections had drifted slightly in the market so I've left them all to s.p.👍:cash:
