I have ran ~5 buyins below EV everyday since I rejoined the site and am still somehow winning. If you are a reg and you play vs me you are fucking terrible. Please go play in traffic and do the gene pool a favour you mouth breathing drooler. First hand after playing normal at my table for 30 minutes he hits me with the minraise with J572 and calls a 4b. Next he upgrades to 3789 where he 3b/calls and then the icing on the cake is the cold call 3b with 2478 and calls PSB with bottom pair no draw on a flush board in a multiway pot with an SPR of 2. This is not right the guy is colluding if I have to call up support to get it investigated I will but this needs to be looked into. There are another 2-3 all in pots (none of which are standard) but they aren't as disgusting as this although he won all of them. If someone did this to me at a casino I'd get banned. I hope he is there tonight to defend his fake title so I can crush him. I'll be playing until the table drops so he can't abuse the system again. Looking forward to a nice long HU match where I am a 20bb/100+ favourite. On a lighter note, I hit my monthly goal of £2k profit for the month. Only managed 2/3 of the monthly goals after arguing with some bozos in the banzai thread. JANUARY GOALS XD 2k Profit Don't get any nicknames deleted Post better blogs and not just moans or brags 45k hands A few things to focus on to increase profitability (in order of importance) 1. Accuracy - Correlation to how an engine would play the same spot. 2. Perception - Taking into account opponent tendencies to modulate frequencies of your play. Mixes turn into pures, calls turn into raises for value etc. To give an example outside of poker this is often used in the chess world when choosing a specific opening vs another player who has shown weakness in the past vs the same opening. I like to use the chess comparison as the game is solved in the same way as poker and people use engines at the highest level to improve their play. (just like poker) And now, for a short lesson in the dark arts: 3. Emote spam the flying fuck out of the tiltlord badregs - This one is dangerous, you have to be careful with your targets on this one so you don't come off as a massive douche. You don't want to target the mega whales who can't spell flush and count their straights on their fingers, they're losing enough. They are your mates. You want to throw your competition off their game. If you are not currently timed out from your emotes after one of the regs is on tilt, you're doing it wrong. Yes I am serious. Do it in live games too, just have some class and don't be too mean (unless they are a sociopathic grinder) those ones are fair game. EZ money I'd focus on the first 2 though. 😉 Pretty good start to the month so far, 7k hands and + 20 BI Biggest win (all in pre) Biggest loss (all in pre) max pain runout after I am essentially freerolling him on the flop Blog profit is a rough estimate at the moment and will come up with the actual numbers for the next update. Don't do this, if anything play lower. My logic was that I am fresh and have been studying and will commit to just not playing higher if it goes bad. Standard pre, perhaps I should open smaller. 3x instead of 3.5 I have 2 sizes on this flop but this hand class in this spot is pure 25% Nice Not nice Add to that a week of bricking 90%+ of MTTs and it wasn't the comeback I was looking for. So I've been studying a bit more and working on spots at 60bb 30bb and 20bb for MTTs. Now that I am getting more accurate with frequencies I am going to start experimenting with the use of an RNG to control my flop cbet (unless I choose to exploit the opp because they're bad) I won't be using it for preflop or river calls just yet. I plan to play the L and M events in the SPC and hope to satellite into some H. Managed 2nd place in the "€10 SPC 11 Title Fight" which was good for 70 leaderboard points and €350. Gutted I lost the HU because the difference between 1st and 2nd was €600.
