That was hard work, no doubt about it, but I'm glad I did it, for the main two reasons I said, can I play mtts and can I play long sessions. The answer to both questions is a fairly satisfying yes, I think I surprised myself to some degree.

The afternoon started well with a final table and 4th place cash in the first tourney I played, the Multiverse at 12.30 BST and a couple of tickets in some qualifiers, but then I took @triceraatopp's advice and dropped the qualifiers, it was  becoming too messy and confusing. The most I had running at one time was 7, but a crash of the site and 2 frantic minutes sorting out the mess convinced me to slow down a little, and I settled into a fairly straightforward routine, mostly consisting of getting beaten up on.🤣

I tended to concentrate on the ones I was doing better in and therefore probably missed a few spots that I should have played, doing more folding than necessary, not really getting very deep for a while, but then along came the Nano Ice Giant Bounty, I had that as my main table after a while as I thought I was running well in it, and had 3-4 other tables most of the time, busting or min-cashing regularly.

Then I realized why I hate tourneys so much!

All that work and it comes crashing down, so near and yet so far. From being so well placed you suddenly become an also ran.

However, it's not over till it's over.

How quickly the tables can turn. Same player that cracked my AA and more or less the same hand played out in reverse.

The thing I liked about this tourney is that it's very deep. Even on the bubble for the ft the lowest stack had over 20 bb's, and down to 6,5,4,3 players there were deep stacks and plenty of playability.

HU and we had about 100 bbs, and I must admit I ran way above average in this, it seemed all I had to do was see a flop to take it, and eventually my luck held up.

Shout out to blacksheep whoever you are, it was just not your day, unlucky and well played.

The main thing I'm taking away from this is that you do have to concentrate, get lucky at times, not worry when you're unlucky, It Is What It Is-I really enjoyed it( some good results always help ) and keep plugging away. I won't be doing this again in a hurry but I'm not as scared by mtts any more.

The giveaway results will follow when I've re-checked the totals, happy grinding all.:Smile:

The big reveal!

Results for the GGG are as follows.

In third place with a slightly optimistic 😃 guess of 57 is @triceraatopp, winning 10 euros worth of cash or tickets.

In second place with a more pessimistic   guess of 33 is @startelver, receiving 15 euros of the same.

In a very appropriate and karmic piece of guesswork the 1st prize goes to the guy who pointed me in the right direction ( and posted the first guess ) when I didn't know how where or why I had an amazing win, your friend and mine, with a very close total of 46,

525285213_Screenshot(485).png.0a717462e1d055ce9189d7eb909d38f5.png @Nestabear  25 euros of loot!

My actual total was a return of 43.60 which I was quite pleased with, a small profit on the day and 11 3/4 hours of mostly enjoyable work. These figures have been independantly verified by the highly regarded accountancy firm of Leeson, Stanford and Madoff.

One rider is that @YlarP  would have been third but for not qualifying due to ranking issues so I'd like a small consolation of a couple of euros to go to him please.

Post your preferences here for @RayL to do the honours :Cash::Inlove: please, and thank you all for taking part and the support.
