Monday results:

Well, the nice start happened with Ufa winning 5-0. Unfortunately nothing happened after that.

Goal amounts on most of the matches were on the range that rarely gives any hits.

Neftekhimik - Kunlun was expected to be low scoring, but the odds for that were just too low.

6.25 return on 9 bets :Annoyed:

do you have a sample of your betting scheme, it doesnt seems like you can be that much ahead short term!

I'm kind of building the sample now, a proof of concept, if you will.

Not sure what you mean by being so much ahead. The tracking includes all the bets on this thread and nothing else, and I'm down a little. It could be that we use a different way of expressing ROI. It's an eternal debate which way is right, but I'm using the one where 100% ROI means breaking even.

Good profit on hockey, but losing on football. Sample sizes are obviously not yet significant at all, so both sports could go anywhere really.

Making better bets 😃

I'm playing such small stakes that I can't even talk about winning money, but I have set my goal on getting to 110% overall ROI and staying there.Also being profitable on both the sports, and on all the leagues would be cool ( massive sample size needed to prove this ). There's no point in betting on anything that you won't be making long-term profit on.

Maybe I can get there, maybe I won't, but getting there would mean a healthy growth on bankroll. And I do like the challenge.

Oh yes! Lots of goals, let's hope it stays that way when the regular season begins 👍

@Purps on Dinamo Riga vs Sochi game, Riga face them 8 times and lost 7 of them 1 winning game was OT btw! Sochi didn't win last 4 games and now they must start picking up points! I am using your tip on over goals but with handicap not sure you're think it's good tip and why?!

Sorry, had dinner guests.

I think Riga is getting too high odds on almost every game, I haven't yet bet against them this season. Also, Sochi is not doing well at all. Sure there's a high risk that this will be a low scoring match but 4.80 for over 6 is almost always enough for a bet on a KHL match. Same thing goes for the handicap, I believe 5.10 for Riga(-2) is simply a little too much.

Sorry if you expected more thorough reasonings, I'm not very good at putting these things into words :speechless:

i can't even talk myself I'm not winning on betting on sports,in fact i think i suck but my mindset is great...I'm basically throwing small amount of money away in bookie's across the web for nearly 10 months ! this is how long it took me to finally reach the break-even + point (  much more dedicated last few months, but diff some bookie L their AO at my bet's ! learning lol...im just willing to putt the time, gotta find another gamble than poker!

is't imo just a matter of time management and how much you like chek stats & watch game... like in poker ( the great boile drunson ) said in the beginning of the poker after dark show...bluff / edge don't go true the door but out of the window !! or something similar lol

about br starting from scratch..on betting on sports!! it is going to be a stretch..(as far as i can tell from me lol) poker tournament, casino just to give yourself a chance to win a 500 to 1 k to bet bigger unit ..which is gonna putt pressure on yourself to get better ! anyways your a smart guy im sure you will find a way to make worth it as well as work it!

keep it coming friend GL

Hi @Purps

yes Riga disappointed me too :(

about your table, how you manage win half bet? And what is ROI?

Thanks @pittpitt, yeah, it's a marathon rather than a sprint when grinding singles.

@Marekss The half bets come when playing "asian" handicaps or totals with a quarter handicap. A quick example:

Lets say Finland and Latvia play a football match, and you bet €10 on Over 1.75 goals on odds of 3.00

Obviously theres no quarter goals made, so what it actually means is that means your bet gets actually split into two bets. €5 on Over 1.5 and €5 on Over 2

If there's 3 or more goals--------> both bets are correct -----------> €30

If there's 2 goals---------> over 1.5 bet is correct, but over 2 bet is voided ---------> €15 + €5 = €20

If there 1 goal or no goals------------> both bets are lost.

Sooooo, the half won bets you see on the table come from these... 2 goals on this match would show as "half bet won" and "half bet voided" on the tracking.

Not sure about my explaining skills again, so the Wikipedia article about Asian Handicaps may do a better job: Asian handicap

ROI ( Return On Investment ) is simply a way to measure the quality or success of the bets. The calculation is really simple: Just devide the winnings with the investments, multiply it by 100 and throw a % at the end.

For example: Your tips on the last group stage day on the Womens basketball world cup:

@Marekss wrote:

Todays 240£/303.40£  +63.4

Now if you want to calculate the ROI for that day:

303.40 / 240 * 100 = 126.42%

Often this would also be considered to be 26.42% ROI, but I don't even know which way is better.... I prefer using the 126.42%. Main thing is that now we know it was a really good day  :Smile:

I hope this clarified these things a little.

Let's go USA basketball grils! :Thumbsup:
