  1. @Merenitsu I don't know wether it's selective memory or not, but many times I'm thinking the same thing, the big stacks won again with the worst hand pre-flop, I keep meaning to check that more thoroughly but again it's just one of those things I haven't got round to, there's more important stuff to deal with. I do know definitely I don't give as many bad beats as I get, simply because I don't chase the draws with bad odds as often as a lot of players, if the price isn't right I fold unless there's a specific reason for not doing so. It's like battering your head against a brick wall. it's nice when it stops, but we just have to grit our teeth and get on with it. Hope it turns round for you, remember, we're all in it together.🆒

  2. @Merenitsu For good or bad some micro players are willing to get it all in with virtually anything, and it can be hard to play against as you just can't put them on ranges. I try to see the flop cheaply, even with good hands, untill the flop you just can't know, and if it doesn't hit hard then give up to fight again. On the flop your top pair can be crushed by so many hands already and your hand was dead on the turn. I don't know how the betting went, but I would have run away to try again. I may be exploitable like that, but honestly, most, micro players are only looking at their own hand, and when I flop the goods I'll still get payed. One step at a time, it's such high variance you have to be prepared to be stacked a few times before it will surely be your turn to run good. Keep going, and good luck. 👍

  3. @GamesDean I had a tourney the other day I felt all I had to do was call and I was flopping everything, other times I go hours and can't get bottom pair. I know it's random and statistics but has anybody come up with why these things come in clumps. :wonder:

  4. I'm in a bounty tourney for the Monthly Missions, won a few chips, and every  hand so far is multi-way, at least three callers, some with 5 or 6, and then I'm dealt the goods.

So I sit there quietly waiting for 3 or 4 calls, ready to pounce.

I'm not kidding, the absolute first  hand where nobody  limped. 😠

  5. I think you're pretty much right with this "gut" analysis. I've read book after book but a lot of it just goes over my head tbh and the micros sometimes defy analysis and if I sit down at cash, within 5 mins or so, I know who I can take on and who to leave alone, and if the tables too tough just leave. I'm happy where I am, never gonna be a world beater, just plodding along, and my enthusiasm has been so rekindled since joining Unibet and the community. Good luck with your endeavours and Manchester is still on the list.👍

  6. I like it @Marekss how about running a leagu, 10/10 cracked up to AA, trips*, two pairs and so on, in order all the way up, till the end of the month, highest hand to be cracked is cracked champion.

    Starter.

No going back over old screen shots must have current date on.

*No wonder I keep losing if I put two pairs higher than trips.

  7. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Hi @Marekss. An early monday morning start for me, flops already done + 2sngs for moving on up, decided to play PLO tourney for Monthly Mission.

    First hand.

Small pair, suited and connected, might as well see the flop, eh?

    1382754630_Screenshot(248).thumb.png.002b4ffa660d3f844d7585e7a2ba066b.png

Could be worse, flush draw - not a good one admittedly - open ender, and trips, might as well have a stab.

Turn brings in the flush, plus a bonus of straight flush possibilities, and still a house could come, so I bet. A snap raise and snap shove so I knew I was beat, but what the hell, I still had outs.

Bet you thought it was going to be a happy ending didn't you?

Not this time but you never know. One euro well spent imo, another new record to notch up, and there's always another one to try.

I play as and when the mood takes me, don't do any serious grinding, sometimes one hour's enough, yesterday pretty much all day. I look on it as fun now, rather than the soul destroying, gut wrenching, rage inducing reality that it is and posting bad beats, outrageous suckouts, amusing sequences and the rest helps keep me on an even keel.:Veryangry: Back to the grind - madness really -  Flop Well.

  8. Listen, do you want to know a secret?

I've finally cracked this push or fold lark.

I called this shove and won.

This guy had been asleep the whole 1 1/4 hours so far and woke up as I raised, he three bet and I shoved.

    1216660972_Screenshot(242).thumb.png.3d7c5e7ee7eac6d1ff6bf9eae493492a.png

Not good. A few hands later he called another shove.

    1635881441_Screenshot(243).thumb.png.90763a4d9aeed64da20c4845b0d57d24.png

A few hands later he shoved and got called.

See the pattern, if you shove you lose, if you call you win.

Time to put the plan into action, so I called the next shove.

It worked a treat. Unfortunately I forgot the rules sometime later and shoved to a min raise.

You see what I mean? Shove in front and end behind. Don't forget this invaluable FREE advice, and may all your calls grow your stacks.

OK next it's checked all streets, so I'll go for value and fold to pressure.

    399133387_Screenshot(224).thumb.png.519529ffd7544d96670ce9495eac175b.png

That worked ok so I'll carry on.

  10. Not at all @GamesDean I'm suggesting if your properly rolled you have more chance of making an attempt at higher stakes stick.

If a player with a 100 br has to move back down after 2 losses, but a player with 200 doesn't have to drop downt till he's lost 100, which one is more likely to still be playing 10s after 100 games. I know which one my money's on. 😃

Obviously, you need to run good to make a shot work. There’s no way, though, that you need more time taking aggressive shots. However, there is a possibility you need less time and you move up faster.

There’s no point in having a higher safety margin when you have a safety net at 100€ where you always move down. You just need a strong mindset and then you can be as aggressive as your bankroll allows you to be.

I can't understand why there are still players at the lower levels, if everyone took your advice we'd just jump up a level every day. Sure no problem, I don't need more time taking aggressive shots, one a day's plenty for me, 7 days and I'll be playing 100's. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
