See how good I am at PLO??? 🤣

Incidentally I'm looking for a bit of advice on PLO cash if anyone can help. I hate cash. Historically I've been terrible at it, it bores me, I tilt easily and I generally have no interest in it. However, I seem to be very comfy at the 10PLO tables and making money from them over the course of this year but I'm mindful that I don't play for that long or that many hands. How many hands should of be looking at to get a good feel for wether I'm a winning player? What's a good hourly win rate for PLO? What's people's overall feeling on the strength of the various player pools on Unibet? Obviously I would have to change the way I record it and measure it because my current method is not fit for purpose. It is maybe something I will look at playing more seriously next year. I love PLO and would love to be an expert at it.

Wow has it really been 4 weeks since a profit update.. Feels like I havent played much in that time. Thats got to change, though. I have to ramp up and get some volume in and try and save this year of poker which in my opinion has been a pretty bad one. @mathew1982 Thanks for the feedback mate. Been a busy week and I've only just managed to read it properly but I appreciate you taking the time to write it. I certainly recognise your name from the tables! I completely agree with you too. I don't know much about the player but weak players would tend not to think about holding a 2 or 4 and being ahead. From experience they just see a shove and think that player 'must have something good' but it was a risk not worth taking. I felt I could fold out K high which I think was a big part of the range. But the K high range was wider than expected to include K7. Like I said I think it was a desperation move on my part and one that I've no doubt I will do again but its cool. Live and learn.

I absolutely agree with you @Nestabear. This, coupled with the disconnections yesterday, was annoying. I was grinding a cash ticket but only wanted to play until I had the 3 spins. So I found my self going back to the lobby every hand to check if the next spin had been added yet. I am surprised there isn’t an icon that tells you, I think there was in the past. I found tracking it with cash was hard with other tables. Today I will just play 7 hexa2’s at a time which are far more easier to track.

Failed the first two but was successful at making profit which I guess is all that matters... going to find some time to go again today!

@Brocky Yeah I agree. You think they call if they don’t have hit the 7? i wasnt willing to surrender the pot and I think there is a few things I fold out that beat me. Wether that’s as many as the combinations that call me I don’t know but I know an ace isn’t in those combinations. Knowing my own play there are a few hands I’d have there that win and id play like that, but youre right an ace wouldn’t be one of them. Desperation move overall I guess.

HAND ANALYSIS Im not sure about the call pre. KinkKong has shown quite a wide range in flat calling pre during the short time at final table. But after that... Decent move by me to try get a bigger stack? Or am I way out of line? EDIT - Not sure why the images are sideways. They are correct way up when I upload.

11 days into the new quarter and no grind to speak of. Today I plan to change that. Missions for today: Play as many sats as possible during my grind to build ticket roll for UOS. Get a ticket for the UK tour final. Finish in profit. I will be away twice during UOS so won't be competeing for leaderboards but winning a couple of events would suffice :happy:

You can do it!! I am going to be doing my first grind today of this quarter all being well and hopefully It'll nab a UK50 ticket to join you in the race tomorrow.

@MetalWolf We're running a full week of good Omaha tournaments now, I can't see that you had time to participate as much as I thought :wonder: You checking up on me?! 😏 Yeah I know, I'm sad about it because was really looking forward to the Omaha Week. Work is really busy and every night this week seems to have been a complete bust in terms of getting some chill time to play. I'm hoping to have some time tonight to take part but I'll defo be taking part in the Sunday games!

Not really looking forward to doing a full profit update because I havent got a clue wether the last few weeks has left me up or down but I'll do that after a few Sunday games. Nothing stressful. Lets see how it goes.

Agree mate. Can't believe I didnt come to that conclusion sooner. A promo built for the regs, the people that dont work and the people with bigger bankrolls. Ah well... I finished top 25 on each in the end I think and got about 80e leaderboard prizes. Was about 140e up across the series but that definitiley wasn't down to tournament profit. Did get another small win towards the end but got smashed everytime I bought into a bigger event. I'll get some poker on the go at the weekend again and I want to take part in the Omaha Week but for the next few days I'm going to relax. I'll do a profit update soon.

What will be will be in terms of leaderboard prizes for Bounty Badlands. I've decided not to play today. Beat after beat early on yesterday and a real 'roll my eyes' moment in the UK package qualifier later on just made me realize that after 2 weeks of grind this just isnt very enjoyable. Think I was 7/20/20 at close of play last night in nano/low/high. My tournament profit is down quite a bit but luckily kept the overall in profit from cash and Hexapro. I know people call 100 times wider because there is the extra point incentive as well as the bounty but running bad at bounties is really bad for the bankroll! i will be fairly content with a top 20 finish in low and high and top 10 in nano but I still think I got a chance at a bit more. We go AGAIN!

Nano - 7th with 20 results Low - 29th with 16 results High - 19th with 15 results Need a big run this weekend!

Cheers Griz I'll take a look. Not a film or series but on the subject of relaxing I have taken to playing my 4 year old sons game Minecraft. So peaceful and creative 🤣 As for series there is a few things I'm watching and not finishing, but I am waiting for Vikings Season 6 on Nov 28th.

Did a small win in a tournament I hadn’t planned to play because now I’m sleep deprived at work 😪 That was a nano bounty but unfortunately the high level was awful to me yesterday. So positions are as follows. high - 21st 10 results low - 17th 15 results nano - 22nd 13 results i have a feeling work is going to stop me progressing much higher on each board but I’m going to do my best for one final push!

I played the final last night and bust but my biggest problem is it’s a Saturday night. I think that’s only the 4th time I’ve played the Saturday final since it moved to Saturday from Sunday. The MK seat I won was from a Monday. Being at the football, seeing family, few drinks. Saturday just doesn’t work for me usually. Still, it’s hitting it’s numbers as far as I can see so guess the system works. I’ll be struggling to qualify for Manchester at this rate now. But I’m there on those dates anyway for a gig so I will pop in the casino and see whoever is there. And jump in the community freeroll if there is one! Gl mate you got this!

€252 of play yesterday €252 of cashes. Guess I should be reasonably happy but was a horrendous day luck wise. Sitting 34th- nano 33rd- low 18th - high Only hit about 7/11/8 results respectively out of the 20 allowed so hopefully I can rocket up a bit more! lets go again!
