  1. Marking this as solved, as it's technically more of an incident than a bug. The tournament pause is a feature and worked as expected. More info here:
  2. Hey everyone. First of all: really sorry about this issue! I had just gone to bed when it happened and didn't see the reports here or on Discord, before this morning. What happened: Global connection/disconnection issue occurred just after midnight, causing tournaments to automatically pause Normally, this automatic pause would trigger alerts to the developers, but that didn't work The service desk used an old escalation process, meaning it ended up in no man's land I'll of course follow up on this one, to make sure that the alerts and escalation process works better for next time this happens. The automatic pause is great, when there're global issues, but we obviously need to then action it a lot faster than it was the case here. Also sorry for the lack of info during the night. It'll unfortunately always be tricky for us, as we're a small team, and I do need at least a little sleep every night 😄
  3. You get bonus points as you rake, all the time, but if you're thinking about level prizes then there's no carry-over of points, if you're in-between levels. See the full loyalty details here: https://unibetpoker.com/unibet-poker-loyalty-program
  4. Want to mention this side dish as well https://www.fivehearthome.com/creamy-cheesy-corn-casserole/. Never had it before, but decided it was a good choice for a big party, together with the brisket. It's incredibly simple to make, and it's just a really excellent match for brisket or other fatty meat.
  5. Wagyu beef doesn't have to be crazy expensive. There's a lot of wagyu mixed beef these days, and for some cuts, mixed is actually better than the real deal. I'd for instance never get a big Japanese wagyu A5 ribeye, but a wagyu mix is amazing for a steak. Also worth mentioning you really don't need that much meat, when it's A5 wagyu. Because of the fat, you'll feel great after just a small portion. In this case, it was wagyu mix, which I've found to be excellent for brisket. Full wagyu just becomes a bit too much, unless it's only brisket flat.
  6. As expected, it was hectic as hell and didn't really manage to take any proper pictures. The brisket played tricks with me and even after turning up the temp to 140 last couple hours, it wasn't finished after approx 20 hours... Next time, I'll plan with 22 hours for a brisket this size - it can always rest 4-6 hours in a cooler, when done. Overall, it went okay, but still feel rusty and it was a rookie mistake to count on the brisket being done after 16-20 hours.
  7. Well, well, well, having a kid sure does take up a lot of your time 😄 I have done some BBQ since the previous post, but it's frankly been too little, and I've forgotten to take pictures of it. Today, my dad turns 60, and my siblings and I have arranged a surprise party with +50 attendees, so naturally it was time to fire up the smoker again. This time, I'm doing a 20 hour cook, having both a 6.5kg brisket (Mollendo wagyu) and 6.5kg boston butt (Danish Duroc) on at the same time. It's a snug fit, but just managed: In addition to these, I'll be doing some pork tenderloin sous vide. Bought the sous vide half a year ago, for pasteurizing my mead (not a typo; I did mean honey wine, not meat 😄 ), but never got around to actually cook with it - the mead you might hear about in a different blog, but as it's obviously alcohol, it might not be allowed. Also doing a few picanha in the oven, but didn't take any pictures of those. It'll probably be quite hectic at the party later, but I hope I'll manage to take some pictures of the final product.
  8. It's great to see the increased activity (and quality) of bug reports, since the introduction of the "bug hunt", and I'm hopeful we'll get the other community sections going a bit more as well, now that it has officially become a poker-only community. To help get things going, I'll be introducing a "Blogger of the year 2024" award. To be considered for this award, all you'll need to do is create your own thread in Blogs & Stories section. In December, the winner will then be decided partly by community votes and partly by an internal jury where the community data will be key (views, likes, regular followers, general interaction in thread etc.). Full justification and key data will be shared, as part of winners announcement. The winner will get a custom avatar in the poker client (you decide what it should look like) as well as a unique badge on the community. Additionally, top 3 bloggers will get to play an exclusive €1 buyin tournament with the following prizes: €1500 Unibet Live package (includes buyin, travel money and hotel) €250 Unibet Live ticket €250 Unibet Live ticket While the blog doesn't have to be exclusively about poker, it must contain some poker content. Terms & Conditions Players from Sweden can not be invited to the tournament for top 3 bloggers Eligibility for a reward is decided at the sole discretion of Unibet December 2024, a poll will be published here on the community The €2000 tournament for top 3 bloggers will take place either late December or early January, once availability has been confirmed by participants The €1500 Live Package can be used for any event that we run a €1500 package qualifier for We reserve the right to change the promotion at any time General Unibet terms and conditions apply
  9. @jwill5555, the counter is for "game available", not the actual jackpots 🙂
  10. Tomorrow will be the last day the Ukrainian and Bulgarian residents can play on Unibet, and I thought we should bid them farewell with a small community tournament. The tournament "Community Farewell to UA and BG" will start at 20:00 CEST and has a buyin of just €0.1 (and a €100 GTD). The password is: willmissyou As mentioned in the below thread, it'll for instance be the last day at Unibet poker of @GothMoth and @SShcherbyna 😞
  11. Thanks for the report! I couldn't reproduce this one, so I've set status to awaiting feedback. Please do let me know, if you manage to reproduce it/experience it again!
  12. I actually had this one during our recent staff tournaments, also on Android. Was busy with other stuff on the laptop at the same time, so didn't notice when it break or have any clue about what might have caused it. Please keep an eye on this one and report any further instances! If we can figure out how to reproduce it, we've come far 🙂 EDIT: I should add that when I had the issue, I'm almost certain no gifs were shown at all; not for other players either. It could of course be no one else used gifs at the table for about an hour, but that's highly unlikely, as they were frequently used in the staff event. So possibly a slightly different issue to yours.
  13. @SkilfulPoker all the €2 should now be set to show one day in advance as well 🙂 Edit: went through all live qualifiers and fixed a few more at other buyin levels.
  14. Thanks for the update @Livertool! I'll close it for now, but if it becomes a thing again/it tends to break more often, when not on latest version, please update here.
  15. Thanks for the detailed report and screen recording! It's the same issue reported here: So "fix" for now is to not use autofill. Hope to have this one looked at after Easter.
  16. @Livertool, see the questions above. Especially the keyboard used is key here. In the past, we've had some issues with for instance just the default Samsung keyboard.
  17. Changed Priority to Low Changed Status to Awaiting feedback
  18. Changed Priority to No Priority Changed Status to Closed (won't fix)
  19. Thanks for the report, @SkilfulPoker! As @Livertool says above, it'd be a nightmare, if minimizing the app would kill your session instantly. The same could be said if you are using the website on your pc but then switch to a different tab in the browser; should we then kill the session as well? The session is killed eventually, when the idle logout time is reached, and this is generally how most apps work, for the simple reason that people switch between apps a lot and there's no security issue as long as you're eventually logged out due to inactivity 🙂
  20. Just confirming what @GR1ZZL3R says above. It is indeed intentional, for the reason mentioned above. As it's hard to miss the number of flops in the shop (as shown on your picture), I think it's fine to keep it as is 🙂
  21. The value does matter, even though I get your time angle. I frankly just have too many things that are more important than manual goodwill compensation of a couple Euro (check the new bug reports section for a bit of context 😉 ). Fair point with the expiry date in the tournament description. Only issue I see here is that we've been avoiding putting this kind of info, as it's all manual and ticket expiry times have changed on multiple occasions. I'm also not sure who it'd really help. People with many tickets will obviously be aware of the expiry times and I just don't see a recreational deciding to play a qualifier for a €0.4 ticket and then not be available at all, for the next 7 days (and even if that would be the case, one could just register for a flip). So there's probably very little value in adding it, as 7 days for these tickets is very reasonable, with the many tournaments available.
  22. Another round of bonus points added. If you have any questions, just let me know here or drop me a PM 🙂
  23. Thanks for reporting! The BB two hands in a row obviously shouldn't happen, and it generally doesn't. We looked into that a couple years ago, and back then it was extremely rare. As the code generally does work, we can't prioritize it, unless it's proven to be more common. As for the two players sitting out, it's a visual bug showing they've been dealt cards, and it wouldn't have shown like that in real-time at the table. This part, combined with the above, is interesting though and if you ever come across something similar, please do report it here 🙂
  24. Changed Priority to Low Changed Status to Awaiting feedback
  25. Next batch of bonus points will come either tomorrow or Friday 🙂 I've been on vacation and now back, but sick, so haven't updated many of the reports yet. They will all be reviewed and updated with status and priority, but it might take a week or two.
