Livertool Posted April 2 Share Posted April 2 First of all, you better turn around and never look back if you expect to see and are only interested of following things: -bankroll management -long term grinding -steady updates and stats -learning to be better player But if you enjoy ultimate rec poker from freerolls to highest stakes and/or other gaming you might find some interesting to read from time to time. Naturally, blog competition lured me in (thou it will be sad day for poker blogging if this makes it to top 3 🤣 ) but more importantly i find it interesting, and amusing, to read my own doings after some time as they tend to forget so soon. Start balance as we stand is 0 at all levels, i'll probly wait if bug reports/centroll bring something to start with this week and go from there... Which brings us to lesson number 1; get the value from where it's at. For example daily freerolls are full of players trying to win cent tickets when they could easily skip many levels of grinding simply with detecting bugs while playing and reporting them here. They are not so hard to find, without looking yet still keeping eyes open you can easily spot one from time to time just with playing or using sections of client. Ofc better for rest of us that peeps just don't bother or know to report 😄 Anyhow, like title says, no long term plans or goals but taking it day by day with baby steps. The point is to leave an "untouched" amount on the account, which will be a conservative BRM, and everything above - no BRM. For example, if you have 10 euros in your account or less, you can only play centroll and nano, and if you have more than 10 euros in your account, you can play anything. This has significant advantages compared to the complete absence of BRM, namely: - Availability of the game at any time when there is a desire to play, instead of waiting for a freeroll. - You will not miss very beneficial offers for the community (such as a farewell tournament for Ukrainians or flip tournaments of the community league). - More play - more blog content - more chances to win. Then it wouldn't matter if i have bankcodes with me or what ever and in addition it is usually bad "investment" to deposit to play centroll and then burn rest of depo to slots or other nonsense. Even as i consider both poker and slots as fun gaming it don't matter that much which product i lose or win with. For nano tournaments i really have no interest, title fight centroll is ok imo as it can be very short road to bigger tourny and lower stake cash and hexas are fine with lowest stakes too. Livertool Posted April 5 Author Share Posted April 5 Yesterday was quite fairytale, pretty much couldn't do wrong what comes to gambling, great start for the blog. #not0lucky I got bonuspoints from bug reporting (wont tell exactly how much, somewhere between 1 and 10000, cause they are not posted here overall so good intention of giving back might turn bad if stubbe gets being harrassed why some got this/some that so lets not go there) but anyways, won some while trying to complete first day of "play 10 5€ hexa for 3 days" promo and went to slots to try if i finally manage bonus on more unusual suspects. Has anyone got to freespins playing it or is it broken??? Must have already played 1000 spins without bonus, just before i was about to give up i got to jp round and won 1000x from it. Later played some xxxtreme lightning on other site and that too gave 1000x with lucky 21 So what does numbnuts do after this? Hits the highest stakes ofc 😄 But even that wasn't mistake and managed to win some. It was just one superlucky day between thousands of no luck and risk free play at big tables as i would have been up for the day anyways. At some point i was getting low on stack sitting with 27 on bb, setmining practically min raised sb called so thought why not, lets get lucky...after flop pretty much knew that i am going to double the and sure i did. Beauty of duckmining 😋 But in the end didn't help a thing as the premiums seem to fail more often than crap hits... Blinds were gettin quite high already so i somehow expected there might shoving incoming, raised 3x as i would have wanted to see flop but didn't matter that guy next to me went all in as after flop i would have gone all in anyways. Even with all the outs in the world didn't do shit. Same thing last time i won ticket, 50€ that time. Pfai and once again premiums end the journy. So lesson to learn is that just shoot from the hip, the worse your cards the better to play with them as if you hit you feel great if you lose that is only what expected while premiums can only fail you and you are left feeling what is the point of this. And with this lesson and state of mind i am heading to community league so don't be surprised if you see some wild ranges. Heads up 😉 (Yeah i know the day will come when i win with won ticket, just very frustrating to win something just to be pissed off in yhe end. The first solution used to mitigate it was to close reg 5 mins early. It's obviously not the best experience for players so was replaced with caps so no additional tables could be formed. This flip looks like it still has the early reg closure on it. Not a bug, just a missed template that needs an update 1 Have you read my blog HERE... Ok, level 2 gets you rakeback and freeroll (which are good imo), level 3 freeroll ( still good as last time i reached level 3 and regged froll but forgot to play still won ticket 😄 , opinion might change) but after that there ain't much incentive. For sure rb increase lidl bit (and l5 you get bonuses if algorithm/poker team favours) but that is pretty much it, you would have to reach level 6 to rb to be continued for next quarter, in between sure some xtra points (not worth imo) so gap is quite huge between l3 and l6. I know that every level would like to get more, not saying that, just saying as someone who is at l3, probly getting at l4 but l5 would need whole a lot more commitment which would be quite useless imo, regarding to levels.
