Some appear on and some disappear off playlists but these tend to stick around near the upper end. Silent Night (Stille Nacht) This always has to be on the list, just for those quiet reflective moments. I enjoy many versions of this but a choir and orchestra always seem to be better and somehow the German lyrics sound just that touch better. I guess @gichi was only trying to help but he's launched a preemptive strike with The Pogues. Banned in certain areas when first released it has gone on to feature regularly in both best of and worst of lists.
