Magicadil
I put a bet on Begu before start of match. I think I might put another bet on her winning 2-0. Garbine is really struggling. 2 I debateShould I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is greatOr should I let the world see the real me and not hide this painI tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can'tI'ma probably die this way

AndreiBN
Is worth trying, but i suggest don't bet a large amount on Begu winning 2-0.And not necessarily because of Muguruza's great performance, but mostly due to Begu's lack of constancy in her game.I've seen her in many matches just going down in a second ,so be carefull :P 1 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"
AndreiBN
And yes,Begu is doing it again.Going down from top in a matter of minutes. No surprise here ... 1 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"

Magicadil
I'm cashing out the bet. I had 100 on Begu. But I lost faith in her. Don't think she will win now. 1 I debateShould I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is greatOr should I let the world see the real me and not hide this painI tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can'tI'ma probably die this way
psrquack
Muguruza is a better player and in the end of the second she started to play even better and better and Begu couldn't handle the strong forehand shots. Begu had the matchball when she tired the lob but she missed it. I think the match is open to both players.
gillvs77
think many did that, pre-match live odds on Begu dropped from over 4 to 3.5 or lower, how much did you make out of itMuguruza is just ❤️♥️❤️ed up in the head, playing with anxiety to take shots (becos many long when she does); hardly seen 5 good hits in a row from her, dont think her feet is much problem although she took some errors becos of balance, I think her problem is 80% in the head
gillvs77
Wickmayer-Halep might also be an intersting match, Wickmayer played very well in first round and Halep is sure for Singapore, so dunno, Halep didnt look fine against Kvitova too, but its guessing here
AndreiBN
Placed a bet this morning on Wickmayer at @2.60 i didnt had any worries about this one, because after winning the gold medal at the Olympics,Puig's tennis was very low quality ever since, and Wickmayer had a positive match winning history against her.But against Halep, things are completely different. It's true,Halep was really bad against Kvitova, but for many reasons.Kvitova had an amazing day and Halep didn't really try anything against her best friend :) So for me,that match is not very relevant. My guess is that Simona will win with 2-0 :) "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"
gillvs77
I know, the quality of the opponent is important too in both games and Halep wins any day of the week even if you give a set at start to Wickmayer, Halep is also a player who can take this title and I think she will do it in future or maybe this year, who knows, but I will not play money on Halep, Wickmayer also has a good record against Halep and Halep already had to withdrew 2 times with injury in this tournament (can be good for motivations or bad for memories)
AndreiBN
Simona is a player who ,besides enjoying playing tennis, she is in for the money as well many times. So,in many tournaments where she has a really nice sponsorship contract jjust to be there, she either retires before it starts,or loses in the first round against a very weak opponent. And she uses the injury excuse way to often.Every time when she loses a game agains a weak player, she will always come up with the excuse that something was wrong with her body and she's feeling pain somewhere :) 1 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"

gillvs77
You know my viewpoint on Muguruza , think she still want some points, odds definitely worth trying, but I guess she will meet Kvitova in 3rd round (although not a big difference in points if she goes out in 2nd or 3rd)Suarez will make room for another one to Singapore, thinking about Kvitova or Konta, but lets wait new ranking to see what's possiblewhat are your thoughts about Arruabarrena-Vecino against Bacsinszky?
AndreiBN
Arruabarrena is no doubt in top form and i've seen quality tennis form her lately, especially in Seoul where she won the tournament.and it's obviously that she is performing great on hard court this period. But in her last match against King, felt like she is maybe just a bit tired. On the other hand,Bacsinszky is a much more valuble player, but she's been really struggling in the last months. She hasn't been playing a lot in the last months, after US Open, she just had one game, where she retired, against Chirico,so very unpredictable if she managed to pull herself together or not. But,i will still pick her for a win today :) "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"
