  2. And hot on the heels of yesterday's €2 ticket comes another, 🥳 but this one unrecorded. 😢

  4. Well I've chopped and changed so much, GR1ZZL3R, GG, G33 G33 and I've been busy today, not spending 20 hrs a day on Discord and the community so I'm only just catching up. 😢
  5. @Stubbe-Unibet Despite liking the message on Discord (pretty soon after it was posted) I have not received any tickets. 😭 Trying again here. 🤞
  6. Agree with that, a superb player (not just scoring goals) in a very moderate team. The last big instance of that was Shearer going to Newcastle (supported them as a boy) rather than United. Just think how many more goals he might have scored, and titles won, on top of his current PL record.
  7. Forgive me Stubbe but I really really can't resist. Imagine you're currently under investigation for fraud, sexual misconduct, electoral misconduct among other things and you're still expecting to run for the presidency. Just imagine!
  8. I totally agree. There is a cap so all teams are equal with the same spending power. If they are all owned by billionaires then they are all still equal, through unlimited spending power. Different methods, same results. And in any case WuDu doesn't explain, he browbeats anyone not lined up with his way of thinking into submission. I've said it before, he won't have a rational discussion, you do, but it's not worth my time and effort so I am actually going to submit. Congratulations to wuDu, he'll eventually get what he wants by driving everyone away.😭
  9. Pretty exciting video there, is it a trailer for the next chapter of The Slow and Mildly Annoyed? I wish it were as quiet in some of these threads!
  10. Excuse me but every team being owned by billionaires or every team having the same money to spend equates to the same thing but said in a different way. The outcome in both cases can only lead to the same thing, only one team can win the competition. No wonder he's losing brain cells trying to come up with different ways to argue against a point but ending up agreeing with it.
  11. I think that's scraping the bottom of the barrel for excuses about extra matches. This year City won the FA cup, 6 matches, and played 3 matches in the other cup, some years they'll run deep and others won't. If you really went deep and totalled all starting matches and minutes played for all the players for champions league contenders I daresay it averages out over the years, so imo not a valid excuse or reason. I've said it before and will say it again, if every team in Europe were owned by oil billionaires there's still only one team that can win the Champions League. The obvious example is the NFL in America, they're all rich but only one wins the Superbowl.
  12. Summer has been wonderful weather here for a change and I've found a new enthusiasm for gardening promoted by my new best friend and neighbour, so poker has inevitably slowed down. I've averaged less than 1 centroll a day since the last update but that is also partly due to the fact that sometimes they don't run and a lot of the time late reg closes early. However logging in yesterday on the off chance I saw that there are now 3 x€2 🎟️ and 15 x €0.40 🎫 on offer. The one I played had more than the usual number of entrants and there were about 10 more players than prizes when late reg closed at the forecast time. Hopefully the advantage is that they now run regularly and don't close early but the disadvantage is that more play is needed to ensure a ticket. I've also managed to start on the €10 level and bagged a €50 ticket at my first attempt plus consolation €10 tickets in a couple of others. The €50 🎟️ have a lot longer use by date on them so I can build up my 0.20 and €2 🎫 which I'm going to start playing again rather than flipping. I've also stopped flipping the Supermoon, I just can't be bothered, but may return to them at the end of Summer. I've also cut down, if that's possible, playing the majors. I won 3 x €0.50 tickets but let them expire, I'm only really interested in the Supernova route and that means winning €2 tickets from the centrolls to continue that path, so slightly harder. I'm also going to get back in the cash streets in the new quarter, not because I'm any more optimistic but because I want to, a good enough reason for me. Good Running all and Happy Grinding. 🥳
  13. Hi @Fk. I don't think there's any possibility of changing tickets to cash, the tickets can only be used for the intended tournaments. If you're not really a tournament player it seems pointless playing these qualifiers where prizes are more tourney tickets, but you might as well use them up, I'm not a massive tourney fan but you never know.you never know.
  14. Wudu confusing everyone by using a word obviously not knowing what it means, then pretending he's confused because no one can understand him, pathetic. Making the point that City will win the Champions League because the best teams fell apart is far too simplistic. The best team of all didn't fall apart and won it, it's called managing.
  15. The Dortmund bashing wasn't exactly for their failure, it was more a Wudu bashing, who seems determined to revel in anyone else's misery for failing while organising a victory parade for his own team which ultimately proved a tad premature. We Cityzens have for years held the mantra "If anything can go wrong, it will," so to celebrate prematurely is not in our DNA. Absolutely fair but my point is that some people can't accept City won it on merit but won it because other teams didn't stop them. It's always and forever going to be the case that you can only beat what's in front of you. If other teams weren't up to the task, so what? City didn't fall apart after the WC despite having as many if not more players playing in it.
  16. Sounds weird from a City supporter. City has all the advantages (legal and illegal) on Earth and couldn't win the Champions League until now, even when faced with the likes of Lyon or Tottenham, or even when leading until the last minutes (Real). They looked just the same clueless, no? And now, compare the budget of the two clubs. Ahh, and the backbone of the club owners... Dortmund has the same problem as Arsenal. Most of their players are young and inexperienced to fight for a real title. That is the reason they both failed the same way and not that City and Bayern were unplayable. I'm confused. What has being a City supporter got to do with not knowing whose wife is having a sexual affair with another man? This thread does take some interesting turns. The thing about being young and inexperienced is that you have to be given the chance to grow and learn. I don't know the average length of tenure of managers in the Bundesliga but in the Premier League it seems instant success is demanded. Chelsea are notorious for that, even changing managers after success but I'm a fan of Mikel Arteta and it seems he is being given time to develop his players and systems, four years so far, another couple of years and he and Arsenal could be a big danger. I was so pleased for David Moyes, shown the door at United far too soon but allowed time at the Hammers and bringing a European trophy home. And of course Alan Hansen's famous "You can't win anything with kids," the kids in question going on to be one of the most successful teams in Premier League history and doing that treble in '99 This year's final may have been poor (it was) but I'll forever have warm memories of City beating Bayern and dismantling Real on the way. It seems some people will never concede certain points, City can't win in Europe despite all their perceived advantages, fair or unfair, but when they do win it's because of the shortcomings of their opponents. C'est la vie.
  17. I don't think you do, it may have been lost in translation but would you care to explain who has been cuckolded and how? Meanwhile Dortmund are reported to be looking for a few specialist players, ones that have some sort of backbone and are willing to try to get their hands on a trophy, especially when being handed the cabinet keys and told when the guards are on holiday.
  18. Alternative considerations on which league to follow. "Let's follow the Bundesliga this year." "Yeah, could be entertaining." "Who do you think will win it?" "Bayern." "Yeah, so do I!" "Yeah, let's follow some other league." "Yeah!"
