  1. Definitely not running good at the moment🧐. The month long break I took over December has recharged me. Being under EV isn't going to stop me playing a lot this month and just grind through. -50 donation to the titan tournament and won a little on cash games overall. 2. Very nice progress so far keep it up! 1600 per week at 10 hexapros is amazing well done.
  3. Absolutely rekt this weekend. Down a ton in EV and made 2-3 bad calls over the sessions to add to the losses. -30 in MTTS and -130 in cash. If I had played without tilt and not started calling too wide it would be at -75. Definitely too many blunders for my liking! Biggest loss (vs super VIP) I open AJdd, super VIP 3b, I 4b, He 5b, I jam he snaps. (He was stacking off pre with KTo+) ❤️ Sam
  4. After an initial deposit of £100 we've spun it up to £310 playing mainly PLO with a little bit of NL and MTT mixed in. I had spun the deposit up to 500 but after a few bad sessions of lolmaha we're back down. Adding some NLH games since I couldn't get enough PLO tables and it didn't take long for a punt to happen. I've played very precise and have only made 2 punts since I started playing again, both of them in NLH. One of them for a stack and another for about £10 - not the end of the world. The rust is off though and these punts will not be seen anymore (I hope). PUNT ALERT 5b ripping pre KJs SB vs CO is not the play to get your winrate going, I hate this so much. No words. 5. Looks like a bit of a cold run at the moment but glad to see things have turned around since last time I read the blog 😄
  6. ******** I is back ******** 5 Weeks since i last updated the blog and stopped playing on Unibet after the software update that f*cked the top-up button and made it so that I would click "change to big blinds" around 2-3 times per second and drive myself insane. Definitely not a reasonable response for most people but I know what I am like and that button triggered me into tilt mode everytime I tried to play. I popped on unibet a few times over the xmas period to check on it and it looks like I can finally play again. Yippee! What have I been doing with myself in the last 5 weeks since I self-banned from Unibet? Well I have been doing what most 35 year olds would be doing... As much as I study & play chess I just can't seem to improve my rating in blitz (5 minute) games above 1200. League of legends is a diff story, I am smurfing on these kids with my 35 year old reflexes. The old 12 hours per day poker grind schedule is being recommenced as of tomorrow 06/01/2022. Chess and LoL are fun but nothing is quite like poker. I'll still be playing the 25PLO tables and dabbling in MTTs when I don't feel like I am in a punty mood. Since redepositing on 03/01 I am +£142 as of writing this post. More to come Hope all are well ❤️ Sam
  7. I tried to continue playing a session and it is legit unplayable with the current layout. @P0kerM0nkThat doesn't affect anything on the tables anymore. This is purely an aesthetic patch taking priority over function, one of the cardinal sins of UX. I am going to have to move my volume off of Unibet because constantly misclicking is tilting and I can't have that shit affecting my thought process and stress levels when I am multi tabling
  8. 2 biggest issues for me: Rathole mitigation doesn't work - you can just come back with a different alias to bypass it Everytime I try to rebuy or topup I change from BBs to currency because the buttons overlap
  9. My target for this month is 75k cash game hands and the last MTT I played was the Supermoon and I only played that because of a freeroll qualifier. In the last 5 years I have played ~700 MTTs online w/ ABI of £15 and £6k profit. Almost all of my volume is devoted to cash games. Running deep in good tournaments and bricking is just soul destroying, cash is frustrating but nowhere near as bad. That being said, I will definitely be playing all low UOS events and the mid & high PLO ones too since I really want to try and get top 10 on the leaderboard. 😆
  10. I am ashamed to say I didn't stick to my word and play only 25PLO and instead I played 50PLO with a few 25 tables when there weren't enough running. I ran well though, and even managed to win the high hand promotion for a 50 PLO ticket with an 8 high straight flush. I spent all of my bonus points on some MTT tickets and used 5 of them to play the titan (which I have never even min cashed) and a €600 Sputnik rebuy which I shipped after misclick jamming 35bbs from UTG right after the rebuy period closed with T2o.. In my defense it was a dachshund puppy that decided to put me all in by running on my laptop's touchpad. GOOD DOG!! Apart from that *small* mistake I played well and closed it out going into HU vs an opponent who had a 4:1 lead. GG ❤️ Sam
  11. Played like shit today because I was running bad. Lost an extra 40 from bad river calls in 3b pots in 2 specific hands. One was a pure check/call instead of a bet/call and the other was a GTO call but the guy was a bad nit who is not balanced so I could have definitely folded and if I wasn't tilted I would have. C'est la vie ❤️ Sam
  12. I don't understand... As far as I can see in the first examples you made 2 losing bets on games with different names that were the same teams but formatted differently? And you want your money back?
  13. If we could change the time frame for "hands played" in the achievements section that would be awesome instead of total hands played, hands per quarter or per month etc.
  14. Now that I have just found there is a total hands played section, probably a bit more lol
  15. @EstzenYeah it probably will slow me down but I'm okay with that. I always used to be in a rush to get to high stakes and look how that ended up.. The allure of playing high anywhere other than in live games where I can look at my opponents before I sit isn't really that appealing to me anymore. The higher you play the lower your winrate becomes and the higher the variance. I'd rather grind micros with a good winrate than battle and go on 50 buyin downswings. Just gonna stick to the plan of grinding hard and booking small wins and then taking shots in good live games during festivals. I've got 3 more weeks to work my ass off before I head to the GUKPT London cash games so if that means I have to just be a rakeback grinder at 25PLO that is absolutely fine it will pay for my hotel 😄
  16. The turn is a pure check w/ SPR > 2 considering the hand has 5% less equity with a T and A in it vs nuts and no blockers to the nuts. Solver would call your hand vs GTO but he isn't GTO and you block turned 2 pair that villain could be over valuing, you block hands you beat apart from aces and you unblock KQ hard considering you also have a T
  17. Just had avocado on toast for breakfast for the first time in a few years, one of the upsides to not doing all of your money at high stakes is that you can afford to have pretentious breakfasts again. I've played more volume in the last 48 hours than I have in years and I'm up around £100. There is one "reg" who VPIPs 70% from all positions and gets it in with top and bottom pair on any texture other than monotone for 200bbs+ with any SPR, they get a set in for stacks at any SPR for infinite BBs on any texture and I can't beat them. For the sake of my mental I am gonna ban myself from anything higher than 25PLO for the remainder of the month because I can't resist sitting these tables when they play so bad but it isn't good for me since running bad at 50PLO hurts compared to 25PLO where I don't feel as much. Cashed out £1200 so I don't do anything stupid and left £250 on the account, up to £375. ❤️ Sam
  18. I span a freeroll ticket into a 680 cash in the supermoon bounty and the cash tables treated me well too. Definitely got some of those EV bbs back. When I was doing some hill sprints earlier today I was going through spots and ways to play the day 2 and considered playing a total ladder game since every ladder is like 6 buyins for me and I start the day off 12/12. I remember thinking "I'll be an uber nit and open fold 66 and jam 77+ OTB and not tell anyone" Well my bustout hand was 66 OTB < KK in SB for 12th place and no ladders. Justice. Stick to the fucking plan Sam. Net profit (including BP + Tickets): £2177.45 ❤️ Sam
  19. GG out in 12th, +680 from a freeroll though. We take those for sure!
  20. Depends if you beat me in 12 moves again or not? JK I am in
  21. @Estzen I'd compare it to other masochistic behaviours, it's essentially financial self harm. Even when I have done it in the past I know in the moment I am being an idiot but I didn't care. Consider yourself lucky you don't have those tendencies, I was crippled with that sorta behaviour for a long time and dusted off 5 figure rolls multiple times back in the golden days of online poker. (And back when I had no understanding of the value of money)
  22. @Wokeyedwill Well done and good luck bro. And regarding the sportbooks argument that is going on in the comments, real pro sports bettors are mainly using arbitrage to generate the majority of their profit if not all of it. Betting on things you think are going to win is what punters do, and betting with inside info is what crooks do.
  23. Managed to grind through it. Also found some amazing content that went into deep analysis of the GG player pool vs PIO ranges and of the top 20 players vs PIO ranges to see how the best of the best exploit the player pool to achieve the highest winrates. Eureka moment sorta stuff. Not something I can directly implement into PLO but will try transposing the ideas into my game and it will definitely help me win more when I play NL. My e-sports bet lost in a 5 game series 2-3 I should have laid it off after watching the semi finals and locked up profit because EDG were not a 5:2 dog ❤️ Sam
