  1. My iPad Unibet Poker App looks like this You say Android is working? (That would be great!)
  2. I think @fornicator99 and @Groggy have some good points about the Sensei status and demotion etc. I would also like to see getting the Sensei status as a harder accomplishment than it is currently. Maybe individual belts following the same logic too. In real life all these usually take months/years/decades to achieve. Of course in a poker cash game we cannot follow that 😆, but maybe a notch or a two into that direction could be implementable đŸ€”. And hey, we don’t even have degrees of black belt (Dans) yet 😉 Maybe this sort of thing - if properly designed and executed - could make the playing experience even more immersive and “addictive”. In short, achieving belts, Sensei status etc. could be more of a journey (not sure though, how this fits together with a quick cash game). đŸ€” There could probably be some monthly missions or some sort of longer quests surrounding this idea, which are stored to game lab etc. Speaking of demotion, I don’t think demoting individual belts is necessarily the best option, possible yes, but maybe not the best idea. Again, in real life martial arts belts are not demoted (maybe in very rare cases), but not commonly so. Therefore, maybe there could be “demoting” within a certain belt if losing and so forth. I would also - as @SShcherbyna commented above - like to see some award or bonus for the Belt/Sensei accomplishments. This would underline the work needed to have higher belts/Sensei status. All this would of course require some (or a lot) amount of work. Maybe some XP point system for the belts etc. And I’m not sure if all this is worth the effort from Unibet viewpoint. Finally, these are only thoughts and suggestions for the future. The basic stuff is great and works, so job well done!
  3. I had the time to do some testing too (about 50 min). Here are some of my initial observations (some probable overlap with previous comments). Overall, I think the idea and format is great. Really liking the graphics and atmosphere! (Technically everything seemed to be working without any problems with iPad browser version.) Some more specific feedback: a) Got few of those thunder effects during my initial “elf-testing”. I think it is a nice touch. However, from my experience, the timing could maybe be tweaked a little, i.e., the thunder/quaking to stop before further cards are dealt. I will have to try again how it feels though and how one gets familiar with it. (Didn’t have sound on, so cannot comment on that aspect.) b) The “life-bar” was also a great nuance and fitting for the new Banzai 2.0 instead of the hand strength percentages. However, I was wondering if the percentages could be squeezed within the “life-bars” in some way. It works fine as it is currently, but being already accustomed with the percentages showing elsewhere, I don’t know. Just a thought to ponder on c) In my opinion the belt system is a great idea. It gives some special feel to the game. Yet, I struggle somewhat to understand the benefits of levelling-up with one’s belts (I really need to read more closer the instruction etc.) in the short- and/or long term. If level up happens via going all-in or calling an all-in, that could be considered as experience. But while I kind of understand it within the Banzai game setting, it seems somewhat counterintuitive with regards to real life: In Banzai you can go all-in and win or lose, and either way you level up. In real life you don’t level with belts in any martial arts I know of by failing belt tests or by losing. This was just an observation, and I really don’t know could there be some other or better way of implementing the level up in Banzai 2.0 other than only by winning (all-in) hands you level up. d) If I understand the game correctly, anyone with a biggest stack (at least 50 BB) could become a Sensei. Again, this probably works within the context of the game, but does not reflect real life. In my understanding Sensei is considered as someone who for example teaches and has mastery over one’s field of teaching. If someone with - let’s say - with an orange of a green belt can become Sensei, that would be non-sensical in real life. (Having a few years of martial arts background as a junior myself, lower belt teachers would be not called Sensei but rather Senpai.) What I’m getting at with respect to Banzai implementation, maybe some more merit should be required for the title Sensei. Of course this is a poker game, so it soesn’t have to reflect real life. These were just some random things that came to my mind while playing. e) There have been some nagetive feedback about the pacing/tempo of the Banzai 2.0. To me it felt just about right. Quick, fast-paced Banzai! Summa summarum: After my initial test playing session, the new Banzai 2.0 is a very welcome and original update! Maybe some tweaking here and there, but the core is already there đŸ’Ș. Of course, I will have to test/play more to get even better grasp, but I think this has great potential!
  4. I have no access to Banzai 2.0 with my iPad and Poker App (nothing new at this point). Concerning the “invisible buttons”, I’m not sure if it is related to incorrect scaling across different platforms. I had for a long time the issue with Safari browser, that the playing buttons were barely or only partially visible. With iPad that got sorted out by choosing the mobile version page instead of desktop version (which was default). Now that I changed to dedicated app, this problem no longer exists in general. But when I go to Pokerihuone playing with Safari browser the problem is back again, and I cannot seem to get the buttons visible be it desktop or mobile version. The schedule view looks like this (the avatar showing only in half, and no buttons/symbols visible on the bottom of the screen) This probably has nothing to do with the current Banzai 2.0 problem Billy is mentioning, but mentioned it anyhow just in case. Sorry, for not being able to give any Banzai 2.0 -specific feedback yet, but based on Billy’s screenshot, the graphics look very arcade-gaming like and retro cool 😎! Me like!
  5. 😱 Let’s hope things get fixed asap. Knowing you guys are working as hard as possible, good luck đŸ’Ș So, how about the feedback Santa and the poker team is after? What’s the ”deadline” on that? -GotKot-Elf
  6. Out of reactions, so This would be nice. I’m curious too (well, when I’m not) 🧐 Yup 😄
  7. Hi! I guess, at least this is for the testing. Just happened to be here myself. This is up to Santa. I hope you get a chance! Let’s see how we get things rolling đŸ’Ș
  8. And I’m already out of reactions It’s gonna be a long day 😆
  9. Thank You Santa! Exactly the same thing going on here when clicking the ticket 👆 Also the ”lobby” looks like this 👇. Is this how it supposed to look? I am also with my iPad, and now using the dedicated (just updated) app. No more Safari browser

  10. That is a tough spot đŸ€” I leave deeper analyses to the pros in here!
  11. And again two lost MTTs today on the river: the Santa Freeroll and the level 2 Supermoon Freeroll 👇 Even 96% odds on the turn is not enough for me to win 🙃! I know these happen to everyone once in a while, but my recent amount of losses on the rivers is nothing short of hilarious/infuriating đŸ€Ș
  12. Apparently so 😁 (I’m out of likes for the moment, so quoting your post). Yup. Thanks @Santa-Unibet for the tournament! The presence of the UB-Santa is really lifting the spirits within the Community đŸ’Ș
  13. Come on guys where’s the Christmas spirit - #neverlucky 👇 GL to those remaining đŸ’Ș
  14. This is a shame; the Community freerolls were awesome (and prizes great too)! Of course, it was a promotion and now it’s over but still. Any new Community freerolls upcoming? 🙂
  15. BTW, What the pre-WC odds were for Morocco winning the thing? Have to agree on this.
  16. @SShcherbyna, Nice to see you start a blog here (although I must admit, I am somewhat lazy following blogs in general đŸ€Šâ€â™‚ïž - actually don’t even know why - but it’s nothing personal with regards to any blogger)! I just want to say how bad I feel personally about the situation in Ukraine in general, and of your situation in particular. I truly hope the conflict will stop as soon as possible, and rebuilding and healing being able to start. My deepest wish is also, that everyone would do what they can within one’s capacity to help those who suffer. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences! My best wishes 🙏
  17. Amazing! Sincerest congrats man!
  18. If I may add a sidenote guys: I am probably the best poker player around losing on the rivers

  19. Have to agree with the guys above
  20. Banzai 2.0 avatars and graphics remind me of good old Double Dragon game - cool 😎
  21. Thanks! (It seems I have few likes at my disposal too for the time being
 🙂)
Respect! (NÀitÀ yritÀn itse muistaa kuunnella joka itsenÀisyyspÀivÀ.)
  23. Agreeing with Rushbie here! I saw this topic last night and was actually about to post something. But my answer would have been more complicated, including the articles I found (half-asleep googling) that were too complicated too. So, the answer Chris gave was spot on, helpful, and simple! (And apparently I still found the favor of Santa - thanks to Santa and Chris in the other topic - so nothing lost there 🙂)
