Gutted at the mistakes I made and the missed oppurtunity. Soooooo tired now. We go again tomorrow.

@Sparrow473  was about 11.30 UK time last night i think. It's bubble time in the 2 day low. i have 35ish BB's and pretty card dead. 

Went out the nano 2 day in a massive pot AK to AA with 4 to go. Said to myself regardless of stage of the tournament if I'm folding AK in a nano there is something wrong with me...

Good job I logged on. Assumed Day 2 would start in a couple hours and not in half hour. Full update after the days events. 

Will do a full update tomorrow. Headlines are

- Day 1 disaster: Probably 60-70e down.

- Ran QQ/AK into AA far too many times. 

- Things started to get a bit better.

- Made Day 2 of the nano with just under average stack

- Made Day 2 of the low with about 100 BB's 1.5x average stack.

Stat update before todays grind. Don't like the day one offering for the low leaderboard. Two 10e rebuys with the only real difference being one is faster but hopefully lady luck is with us and we can get through with some profit. 

Ridiculous run out in the final hand of the night below in an otherwise decent day. Won a small tournament, got a few tickets and most importantly playing pretty well I think. Good warm up for the leaderboard.

Not a lot of poker has happened in the last 2 weeks. But I'm hopeful a lot is going to happen over the next month.

I am going to make an attempt to WIN the 'low' leaderboard in the next UOS! I will also play all the nano's, too.

I'm a bit rusty it seems. Cruised into the money in the €10 PLO PKO and then made a really silly mistake I wouldn't usually make and crashed out shortly after. Small volumes still though. Enjoying playing.

Quick copy and paste update for how it's been going so far. I've only played one PKO which was the 25PLO and unfortunately I fell right before the money after taking only one bounty but I will try the other PLO events in the series. It feels good to be playing again and hopefully over the next week I can bump this volume up! 

Nice goals for the year and I'm sure you can achieve them looking at the consistant numbers you have and detailed approach play. Good luck!

I'm really confident of having a good year with poker and had a nice day in very low stakes yesterday getting a feel back for the grind. I haven't deposited so I was only playing stuff I had tickets for. Increased the ticket roll a bit in the end but the challenge will come when things aren't going my way when I go back to the higher stakes. 

I'll make a small deposit soon and grind my way back. I will definitley be taking part in the upcoming PKO series but I don't have the bankroll to be chasing any leaderboards so I'll just dip in and out here and there. GL to those taking part.

So where have I been? I guess I should say thanks to Unibet for starting me on the road to where I am now - which is a genuine home owner.. or at least having swapped a renting place for a mortgage! 

Starting on the final table of a UK tour Nottingham a few years back, and including good wins at UK tour Glasgow and UO Dublin I have been building a deposit for a house for quite some time and those wins were nice boosts to allow me to finally take the next step. In the end we had to put large amounts away in a short space of time and this had a big impact on the amount of poker I could play - i.e zero. Not to mention the obvious pandemic making everything more difficult than it needed to be.

So I have finally moved back to the city I call home in Wolverhampton and rather than thinking about unpacking the hundreds of boxes I have placed around from floor to roof I am thinking about how to get my poker 'career' back on track. 

So I am going to be basically building a bankroll from scratch, which isn't new to me but it should be fun and I'll be documenting it all once again right here. 

I only hope that it won't be too long before I can see some of you guys and girls at a live event again!

Yeah mate between them and work there is very little time to do anything else at the moment. Also house hunting but I'm really missing poker at the moment. Got a few city breaks coming up over the next month taking advantage of low prices. We keep getting threatened with a local lockdown too it's on the rise round here. I'm optimistic that by the time the next UOS comes round I may have more time for poker. This year seems a bit of a write off for the majority of people but I can't wait to get back on the tables and back to some Unibet live events when that becomes possible.

You'd think with the rain we are having here after such gorgeous weather now would be the perfect time to actually play some poker. Alas it is not the case. 

Hows a guy supposed to blog about poker when he never gets chance to play it? 

Anyone elses countries said anything about the return of live poker and what that is going to look like? I've not heard much about casino's plans in the UK at all.

It's been a reallllllllllyyyyyyy long time since I was keeping this up to date. And I'm kinda sad about that. So let's make a post. There hasn't been much happening this year in terms of poker. With two young kids and lockdown it's hard to get any time to play - certainly to commit hours to MTTs which is what I want to do. I was house hunting before the virus too so al my expendable income was going in to that. Obviously that is on hold for the time being but I would very much like to commit a large bankroll to poker again when this is all over.
