  1. @Josafina because the software/server would probably break. Unibet isn't made to run massive tournaments, and killing tournaments that people pay real money to play for a freeroll would be silly.
  2. @ItsOutThere they need some limit to it, they probably can't run a 100 000 player freeroll
  3. @Livertool yes everything is prone to human error, but whatever is written where the arrows are is what the tournament will be, doesn't matter if they put 5 500 5000, if that's what it says that's what it will be. The description is just a text field where someone types manually whatever he thinks describes the the tournament and has no programming logic in it that impacts the tournament in any way.
  4. I doubt it, to see the maximum amount of players you always look where the red arrows are on XY's screenshot, descriptions are prone to human error and sometimes aren't accurate. Not sure about this but don't think they increase the maximum on the fly.
  5. @Cassy that 4€ sound like the equity difference between the automatic refunds of when the tournaments were cancelled and the moment the issues started to happen which was done manually, you probably lost blinds in some tournaments due to some people coming back online faster and that amount accounts for that. Just an assumption.
  6. You clearly are confused as to how rake works, the more tables there are, the more rake they collect. If they reduce the tables then they collect less rake. Also do you think they have a fetish for issuing refunds around the clock for half a week and losing tens of thoudands of $? These issues affect them far more than it affects you and your 4nl tables. They want it fixed more than anyone. You being a ❤️♥️❤️ doesn't help anyone.
  7. oh boy I'm so disappointed ... from the first post looked like there are a lot of spring rolls around here, but bamboozle, just freerolls :waterfall:
  8. you can convert it into 2€ cash and some microstakes happiness for other people by joining a 4NL table with 4€ and going allin every hand, the 2€ left over or maybe 1.99€ will be released the moment you lose since it's below the 50BB minimum that you need to buyin to a cash table
  9. By screenname they mean the alias you use at the tables , not the username not the account number but the alias that you create (in the poker client at profile) and can have 5 of them in stock. You (and your friends) can give any one of the 5 aliases you can have on your account and you don't have to necessarily play with that alias as it's used only to grant access to the tournament in order to make it private.
  10. I often see hand reviews as a suggestion but when they happen there's hardly any interaction, no hands posted, nobody does any work on the hands, nobody comes with counter points to the analysis posted by switching up the ranges to how they perceive it and then does the work to analyse that. Seems like everyone just wants some sort of "coaching" articles from the ambassadors, which is cool too but doesn't do much to increase the activity on the the forum. And I'm guilty of this too for sure, I much prefer just watching, than being an active part in the study process of other people. Blogs are cool, my favorites are Stubbe's, MetalWolf's, Broky's and from the older blogs monkeyheaven. Making them more visible to the general populace in some way would be cool, cause right now it's mostly just the powerusers of the forum noticing them. One issue with it is that I feel like forums are not the best blogging medium with the endless pages of conversations (which are great to have and the big plus of forums) intertwined with the actual blog posts / trip reports/ day reports/ hand discussions, it just makes it all hard to read and to get to the juicy bits if you're not willing to start reading 40 pages of randomness. Could have some pinned posts or somewhere on the main page with something cool and recent and relevant from a popular blog, metalwolf's trip reports are a great example of something that would fit that bill, but also good stories like someone qualifying for cheap to a unibet open and posting updates and pictures, maybe incentivise that a bit too with some tickets. On the twitch front, a lot of content is being made (entertainment, study, leakfinders, cashgames, mtt, leagues, as well as it being a perpetual AMA), more could be done with all the twitch clips made, maybe with highlights, idk, there's a lot of stuff that mostly exists just in the moment, which is fine, but it has more potential. Also this is more of a past tense thing now so maybe not relevant anymore but colabs with other streamers, the way you had a bunch of gamers involved could have had a lot of fun games where everyone plays together, maybe some grudge matches, not just the little coaching sessions that were done in the past (which were cool as well). Similar to how Ian and Lappin had hilarious grudge matches, but like while that's a good colab contentwise (for the people that already like them) it's not very relevant reach wise cause their audiences overlapped completely and not very promoted (they had a bloody live grudge match that was only seen by the few live spectators, the video of it was cool but it was more like a trailer for something that never came :D )
  11. 1cc95ea25082d1993df4448bb396efc6 just 7 more minutes not to miss out, 1 € buyin
  12. @Kliedz_Zivju There's 2 more extra chances, one today in 1 and a half hours and one tomorrow. They starts at 19:30 CET 😃
  13. You want tikiet to a 4k freeroll? Well this is one of the last 4 chances to get one, a tournament costing just 1€ with a regular prizepool and with 15 tickets added, starting in half an hour from now.
  14. @Leo-Unibet ^^^^ his ticket won in the satellite seems to expire before the final starts, the tickets the VIP's got expire in 5 days at the current time of posting which is probably the correct amount of time to be able to register till last minute.
  15. The first 1€ sattelite to 4000€ final 15 1000chip tickets added (and a normal prizepool) starts in 10 minutes, yuge value, the final will for sure have less than 200 players, only 35 people registered right now in the satties! :cash: 👍:cash:
  16. @Purps the original post was written before the final terms of the promo got decided, I'll tell David to edit it tonight.
  17. All the VIP's listed above (people that got in though the 2019 loyalty route) should have gotten their tickets for the final today. PLEASE CHECK IF YOU HAVE, if you're on the above list and didn't get your tickets please contact @DaVitsche on twitch and mention your unibet alias, he will be streaming every day this week. Each VIP got 5 tickets for the final which means you can start the tournament with 5000 chips, and you have the possibility to win 5 more though the 1€ qualifiers that start today to get 10000 chips at the start. Each 1000 chips ticket is worth around 9€ in equity added so very very much worth it for a 1€ buyin, both VIP's and players that don't have tickets yet should play them IMO. The maximum is 10 tickets, these tickets will have no value after the final is over so don't forget to use them. In order to use your tickets please make sure you select all of them when registering to get the maximum amount of chips for them. Since they are tickets, using the + sign on the registration window will give an error, but if you use the dropdown menu you can select the number of tickets you want to use, click the highest number you can click. Here's an example of how to do that. https://i.imgur.com/1R4N1EX.mp4 It's fine to register and unregister and register again, as tickets get refunded when you unregister, just make sure you use all your tickets before the tournament starts since if you start the tournament with less tickets you won't be able to use the rest, there will be no rebuys in this tournament. Currently the tournament is in the process of being set up so don't worry if it appears and disappears from the lobby, it will be there on the 1'st of february.
  18. I don't think rebuys are that good in R/A 10x satties while you still have chips and generally should be played more as a re-entry just to get to the addon. There are exceptions of course where buyin+rebuy is good but generally the benfit is marginal, while the addon benefit will be pretty big most of the time due to it being 2x the starting chips.
  19. Here's a crazy solution to this problem that I used to do when I used to exchange tickets, when you predict that you will not be able to play more of the higher value tickets fast enough, just stop playing the lower levels for a while until you reduce your number of higher tickets, instead of bothering employees with extensions every day, ez 🆒 Also the addon is such a big part of your EV in these rebuy addons, I think the scenarios where not taking the addon is not leaving a ton of money on the table are quite rare. You're maximizing ROI but minimizing hourly, in a spot where you have tons of tickets anyway.
  20. I kind of agree with that, I always critique them when they go for a hack feature or fix but back then it used to be a fairly small team that was working on a bunch of different products, I think the number of devs increased greatly compared to 3-4 years ago and as a consequence a lot of major issues got fixed, but even so they're still way way fewer than what stars has for example, and they still have to work on the, let's just say not optimal framework that was built originally, they can't really rebuild everything from scratch at this point. Out of all the issues the software has this is probably one of the most inconsequential ones one could complain about.
  21. Well, on unibet rebuy and re-entry is very similar cause re-entry was coded as a hack from rebuys (so a rebuy that you can only take when you have 0 chips) and not like on other sites where you're a completely new entry that gets reseated at another table, so it doesn't even matter much what it's called. As for the addon no it doesn't have an addon, you can tell that by looking at the Re-buy/add-on line under the register button. If it had an addon it would be €50/€50, when it doesn't have one of the 2 then it's just a dash
  22. @Argevolen They don't really have to prove anything to you or me, we have the freedom of not playing here if we don't trust them. Like for example if you are against anonymity then you should just not play on a site that is built around anonymity, plenty of non anonymous options around. I get it that it's not that easy to "have a choice" in some countries, since only a few sites might be licenced, that sucks, I'm in the same boat, but c'est la vie. Where they must prove their integrity is to the regulators, if you don't trust multiple countries's regulators either then there's really not much more one can do to add legitimacy other than them giving access to every single player to their systems to conduct their own audit, which would be silly. All that being said, I think they should have a standard message with all the links and relevant data and little explanation (about the rng, licencing authority, countries they have licence in and their licence numbers) neatly arranged in one place to just copy paste whenever someone has an inquiry about integrity. Just from a PR perspective this should probably be the standard reply, even though most of that info will be useless to the player asking and they won't look more into it / won't know how or what it means, it removes from the get go the assumption that anything is hidden and it gives the impression that the customer's inquiry is valued by the company even though all that is done is a simple copy paste. Sounds like good ROI 😏
  23. @Argevolen You say business is not conducted on trust, but in reality everything works on trust, currency only has value based on trust, stocks as well, a lack of trust in them devalues them both, any transaction you make, any place you give information to, any purchase you make, it's all based on trust. Of course the more safety features are in place the more trust you can have in someone / something. Like with unibet, the RNG verifications, the licencing authorities, the fact that they operate legally in regulated countries that might do their own verifications, the common sense of they're not that stupid to risk a billion dollar business that actually cares about being in regulated markets, for maybe a few tens of thousands. All that adds to that trust relationship. Nothing will guarantee it 100%. You haveing hand histories will add very little to that, not only will you have a very tiny sample size to verify compared to regulators that wouldn't have that issue (which again, you have to trust that every regulator isn't in cahoots with unibet or that they're actually doing their job), but also, people are very bad at spotting the nefarious stuff that's going on. Some sites have published their stats when it comes to banning people, and in general, the amount of bans that resulted out of people observing stuff out of the ordinary and reporting it, vs their own internal detection systems was sub 2%, and a lot of that 2% probably would have been detected anyway at some point. People just don't have the sample sizes and the attention to make a significant impact when compared to computer based checks. That being said, I too want hand histories, for my own personal use, and I'm looking forward to it becoming a thing on unibet, at some point, hopefully. 😀
