  1. That could be an idea, but having different days for the final every week can be confusing, I remember there was a promo that had it's big freeroll every 6 days or something and people kept forgetting about it / not knowing without checking which day it's supposed to be.
  2. I'm sure the unibet guys will help with extending tickets on a case by case basis, but it's a really good point with playing casually and not being forced to play every single tournament. Sometimes they might forget that not everyone is a grinding machine with no other occupation :haha: This site does target recreationals after all. As for it being on a Saturday, well the final has been only on a Saturday for a long time now, so that's nothing new, but maybe having 2 a week could be something they can consider? Looking forward to the structure change and whatever modifications Leo will make down the line. For a very long time the UK (and DSO) satties had a very bad and unappealing step structure IMO only kept alive by overlays and ticket exchanges. Obviously the current iteration probably ain't optimal either but I'm sure Leo will do some tweaking to make it better and better.
  3. Hi, could you please postpone my 2 remaining UK Tour seats for 2019? I won't be able to make it to Manchester this time. Thank you. @RayL
  4. @fish8one Dude you've repeated the same statement with the same link so many times, what the hell are you smoking? Read it again to yourself, sloooooowly!!! Of the remaining 24.3% of hands that went to showdown ... When a hand goes to showdown the best 5 card hand wins every single time, 100%, cause it reached showdown, that's how the showdown works ... What the article is probably trying to say, if it even correctly interprets the study, which articles are prone to get wrong, is that around 50% of the time hands that would make the best 5 card hand just won't reach showdown, you know that 83o on a AK3 flop that folded preflop UTG or on the flop to a reraise from an AK but the turn and river would have been 8 and 8. That 83o would have been the best hand at showdown but it just didn't reach it. The point of the article is that there's more to poker than just the way the cards get distributed, more than just luck. There's this weird thing called skill :haha:
  5. @Zrl-Zgribnik They don't convert tickets into other types of tickets anymore.
  6. Super suspicious, however wouldn't put it past a freeroll player to just not notice the bet size and be fooled to think that it's a much bigger bet by the .09 at the end, especially if they're playing on mobile.
  7. Table balancing only balances tables in terms of number of players, not in terms of stack sizes. No site or even live game does balancing based on stack sizes, it's both too complex and very subjective, different people will prefer different stack size configurations in different stages of the tournament, and most intentional stack balances you could think of would have people crying unfair, so they just keep it completely random.
  8. I'll try not to disappoint  At those odds the tournament would need 19 million prizepool to be breakeven odds without taking into account that I'll be weaker than the field
  9. Well in this case it's not just a probably, there will for sure be another one, Manchester in December. And I assume it will continue next year as well.
  10. Yes you need to play them before each ticket expires, there will likely always be an next UK Tour and Unibet Open (unless otherwise announced) so the date when a tour is played is irrelevant, your tickets are valid for all the satties for that series. The packages are the ones bound to the specific tournament, like Brighton for example.
  11. @wwaanneess Not possible to extend anymore, but if you use the exchangers in the client 250 to 5x 50, those 50€ tickets will be valid for 60 days and the 250s you can win afterwards will be valid for idk, 6 months I think. So, a bit of a roundabout way of extending them. The exchangers are sunday morning and sunday night.
  12. No, freeroll tickets can't be exchanged to anything else, or extended.
  13. Side events are up to the casino at the UK Tours, Brighton sometimes has a small side on Sunday evening something between 40 and 60 pounds bounty.
  14. Should be (12 / 51) * (11 / 50) * (10 / 49) so around 1% chance per hand for it to get dealt. So around 200 hands on average to complete the mission. You can even do it with 0 flops, just fold for 200 hands ez pz
  15. It really depends what you prefer playing, what you're most confortable in, 5x multipliers, 10x multipliers, freezouts, multibuyins. Personally I'd just go for all of the above, double the chances
  16. This was one of my concerns with the lower expiration dates for these finals, people actually having a life. Alienating people with lives isn't a good thing at all. As I grinder I'll probably be fine with less time, will try to qualify to every single event and unless something bad happens I'll be there. People with jobs and commitments can't just drop everything last moment, just cause of expiration dates. One thing you could do to "extend" them, if you're willing to play more satties, just break them down into 50's with the Exchangers, win 250s again, and you will have another 6 months on your 250s. But yeah, it's a bit of a roundabout inconvenient way to do it, and most people in this kind of situations will not be aware of this, or the community, and will probably just get a rigid answer from support, play or give up that money.
  17. Well there kind of is an audience 24/7 , but there are 2 big peak times for english speaking streamers 19CET till like 22-23CET and 5 till like 8-9CET because these timeframes hit both the back from work/school EU audience and the morning NA audience for the first and the reverse for the 2'nd. Poker streams are a bit weird tho. Besides the fact that poker players wake up really late, people seem to prefer watching streams of sites where they also play on unless the stakes are really high, and as the unibet playerpool is predominantly in the EU timezone I would expect little audience coming from there. And in general poker streamers mostly target eu friendly times, I guess because the dodgy legality in NA makes the viewer numbers not that great during Na times, and south americans/russians usually watch content in their own languages. But that also means that there's lack of english speaking poker content in the NA evening timeframe, so if you're just doing it for fun might as well give it a shot, maybe it will work out. Unfortunately starting a stream usually ends up with 0 viewers or very small numbers for quite a while until an audience can build up, so even as a hobby it can be kinda depressing just sitting there and talking to nobody. If you'll tweet when you start streaming also tag @unibetpoker on there, if he sees it he might retweet it. And post a blog on here to let us know when you're streaming. Streaming is more fun when at least a couple of people are around in the chat 😃 Streaming 1 table is way too slow, streaming 4 tables on the screen at the same time makes the tables kinda small, and very not mobile friendly. Best would be to stream multiple tables with hotkeys to change the scenes in OBS and have a scene for every table. Or at least 2 tables on screen and swap in side tables when something interesting happens. @Sect7G
  18. The plan was to not exchange normal MTT and cash game tickets anymore and to use them for the games they were issued for.
  19. @psrquack wasn't duckitup @ReCorpH ? The duck luck, that's where it all started 🆒
  20. A duck alias would be mandatory to get a prize if there's a freeroll for this thread, and a bounty on our 2 duck overlords. bounty_hunter_duck_by_nightrazeshadow
  21. @RedHotChiliP That's a silly argument, why don't you live like a monk and give all your possessions to charity? People do what they want with their money, some will dedicate everything to helping, some will do other stuff they enjoy, some will do both. And playing a game to have fun is not being a douchebag, you should try playing games for fun sometimes, you might actually enjoy them then.
  22. @RedHotChiliP I think you're being way too harsh with people just having fun. If they bother you so much with existing maybe you should go play high stakes and let people do their thing without you insulting them 24/7. I recommend the tournaments 😏
  23. Also some people play just for the lolz like any other videogame, let them do that, they get fun, we get money, win win 😏
