AndreiBN Posted February 9, 2017 Author Share Posted February 9, 2017 When the match started,placed a bet on Gaio to win,because we is in a really good shape,and despite the huge difference in the ATP ranking between him and Gerald Melzer,was still a good value bet in my opinion.Melzer is out of form since the last 1-2 years.But he managed to win the first set in tie break.Second set was won pretty easy by Gaio and we were down to the final one.Melzer got a break at 3-3 and hold on to his serve for the next two games.It was 5-4 for Melzer,and he had the serve.Got it to 40-0 ,so he had 3 match points and seemed like a formality for him to close the match.But Gaio had some kind of superpower boost and break and took the final set to tie break,where he won it pretty easy.So,it's never over until it's over!!Great comeback and to be honest,you don't see it so often happening,especially in men's event,but happy this was the case,and even if it was a small bet,it's still the joy of winning it like this :p 4 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
