The weekly community centroll

Join us every Friday at 19:00 UTC for a centroll extravaganza – it's the weekly Community Centroll Tournament! This isn't just any ordinary poker showdown; it's a vibrant gathering of like-minded individuals coming together to ignite the tables with their passion for the game. Now, here's the kicker – with a buy-in of just 1 cent, you heard that right, ONE CENT, and a whopping €100 up for grabs, it's not just a tournament; it's an overlay guarantee! But wait, there's more! Our fearless employees, when they dare to enter the arena, carry a €25 MTT ticket on their heads, adding an extra layer of thrill to the showdown. Will you be the one to claim the bounty? Now, let's talk exclusivity. This tournament is reserved for our community members of rank 3 or higher. Don't worry, though – the key to the kingdom lies within the locked section of our forum. Simply click on the link https://www.unibetcommunity.com/forums/forum/77-community-tournament-passwords/ to unveil the secret password. And here's a gentle reminder: when you step into the arena, don't forget to don your community alias – it's your badge of honor, your identity among fellow warriors of the felt. So, mark your calendars, sharpen your skills, and get ready to shuffle up and deal! Let's turn every Friday into a legendary poker night to remember! 💪 --- Anyone can forget to change their alias to the community one, once or twice. However, if you consistently do not play with your community alias, you risk getting excluded from these tournaments.

profile pick community forum.

Quick question. I would like to set a penguin as profile-pic for this forum. (preferably an evil one)  Option must be there, because I see other people with profile-pic.  I have checked profile-settings, but cant find out how to do it. Probably just looking past the right option somewhere Is anyone willing to guide me the right way?

Tales of a poker player who broke even.

"In the beginning there was nothing."  motto 1:
The tale tells itself, he was broke, even.
    ~ allegedly Snugglepuss ~  motto 2:
TL;DR
    ~ average internet user ~
The story must be short and captivating.
Writing one is hard but it's even harder in the "tl;dr" times.
It's been a long time since I've read any stories, let alone written them.
Where do I begin? Born in the late 70s of last century, I was first introduced to poker by my Grandfather when I was about 10 yo.
We played jacks-or-better-5-card-draw with matches as chips. Yes, those short sticks used to start fire. Was I any good?
Let's just say I've never felt a warmth of self-lit fire back then.
Today with my poker winnings I can easily afford a box of matches. Or two, even... But poker didn't become my hobby until much later.
The year was 2005, I was spending my time in Japan for the 2nd time, studying and having the time of my life.
Then I first heard about Moneymaker's win from 2003 and started the everlasting chase of the dream win. I vaguely remember Paradise Poker as the first poker-room I joined. Or maybe it was Titan Poker? There were so many...
Betway, BWin, 888, Fultilt and Pokerstars of course, Doyle's Room, Bodog, Party Poker, Carbon Poker, PKR, Everest Poker...
If they had freerolls I had an account there.
I bought books, read them, even. Sklansky's Theory of Poker, Doyle's Super System, Harington on Holdem and some other now very historical stuff. And I played.
A lot. to be continued...

Ice Hockey World Championships Fantasy

This years championships will start next Friday, 12th of May and IIHF have again put up their nice fantasy game for the tournament. Prizes have actually gone up, with 5k for the winner, 2,5k for the runner up and 1k for 3rd place finisher. Also some Tissot watches and packages for this years final and next years tournament are up for grabs, along with some other prizes. Pretty nice, I would say 🙂👍 Game rules and the points scoring seem unchanged from how it's been on previous editions.   Here is an invitation link to the Community private league: https://fantasy.iihf.com/leagues/join/K39DYCCD   Team rosters are understandably not up yet, but should be there on Thursday. Doesn't hurt to join the league now already though, so I can remind everyone that have joined it, once we are able to pick our players for the first matchday.   I'm tagging the people that played this last year here.... @Livertool @tinkeri @Jami-Unibet @Pionrj @Karmasuper @FaiDeaEmo @FunckyFish ......but everyone is of course welcome to join the fun 🙂👍

Breaking Even

What's up! My name is Sam, I'm 35 and identify as a fish. I've played poker since I turned 18 and played professionally for 7-8 years of my adult life (pre solvers). The years in between then and now were spent working as a chef on tour in the music biz (final tour i did was the Rolling Stones) before moving onto films (final film I did was the new Bond) and then COVID happened...  I initially went back to poker during the first lockdown with an out of date skillset and a bad work life balance with almost no time devoted towards studying. After a bad run and about a -10k downswing I decided to put a stop to playing and study theory as a hobby until I felt confident in my game again. This blog is being started with the intention of detailing my progress as I work towards becoming a breakeven player and spin up a bankroll for a US trip next year with some banter and strategy sprinkled in. Most of my volume will be in cash with some MTT punts and occasional sports betting. My return to the tables in September started off hot and I even managed to bink a UOS low rebuy for +£1k! Net Unibet winnings (Year): £2390 Net Unibet winnings (Lifetime):  -£1188.42 Goals for the month: Quit smoking, Update blog weekly, Play 45k cash hands, No shot taking, HQ Study sessions, Activate rungood VAMANOS!
