Enjoy the free ride, because tomorrow we need to hit 5x at Hexa three times 🙆‍♂️ and i know you dont like this format 😄

Can't I have just 5 mins of glory before being brought back to Earth?  😬

It should be every 7th game,

    I'm running at 24/189 so 1 every 7.875, you're at 13/108 so 1 every 8.307, both below average. 🥴🤞

  2. Day 11

Be dealt two hearts 3 times... what a boring mission... except. It took 7 mins while 6 tabling, I won 2 all ins, (wasn't watching the counter for hearts dealt as it was counting flops seen at the same time,) so came out with nearly 20E profit. 😀

Then a bonus run on the spins.

But the correct answer is that it is the same number regardless of the deck

I think you are probably right and that same number is an average of 1 card that is in the same place regardless of deck size.

The simplest calculation is by asking what are the odds of a particular card being in the same position after a shuffle, say the :Ah:  There are 52 possible positions for it, so the odds are 1/52. This applies to each and every card, so you can see the odds of any card remaining in the same position are 1/52. There is a much more detailed work through but the same result is obtained, on average for any size deck one card will appear in the same position.

  4. Day 10

Back to the Hexagons, this time it took me 10 attempts to win 3, and all those were 20c, so yet another small loss,🤬 running slightly below what's expected but seriously having some appalling luck. 🤬 🤬

Anyway I've regged the flip tourney straightaway but it has a weird expiry date.

    image.png.7be30c914a9b93e60056fbca9a8db43f.png

Does that mean if I'd left it and come back to reg in about 6 hours, 7 hours before the tourney, it would be dead? 🤔

  5. Meanwhile there were 32 competitors through to the 3rd round, only 20 quoted to win it, maybe a way of ensuring no-one gets value on an outsider. Mark Allen who IS now in round 4 remains unquoted.

  6. Whilst we're on the subject of getting value for your bets, before today's third round matches of the Snooker Shootout you could back Hossain Vafei, a previous winner, to win again.

This despite him not having played the first or second round and being at home with the flu, and nowhere near, or expected to be near, Swansea. It would be quite the achievement!

  7. Day 9

I was so smug at collecting the bounties yesterday so easily I forgot to reg for the flip ticket given as a prize. 🤬 That's two I've missed so far. 🤬🤬

Steady day today, play three Hexas, not even having to win them. 👍

The rest of the session didn't go quite as well, ran KK into AA right at the end of the 60 flops for Santa Flips 🤬 but didn't finish too badly.

Now I just have to remember to play the ticket. 🙄

  8. Day 8

Another day I wasn't too sure about but I needn't have worried too much. The first tourney, PLO, I could have taken two players out in the third hand but was too chicken. There weren't really any good opportunities after that so it was on to the Banzai.

  9. Been watching my second favourite tourney the last day and a half, the 1 frame shoot out. Sean Murphy has just made the first ever max break in the tourney, a superb seven and a half minutes of brilliant skill.👍

Unibet best odd prices are Too low

Unfortunately it is a major criticism of UB. Their prices used to be on the Racing Post odds comparison page but disappeared from there long ago when it became increasingly apparent they weren't as competitive as "the big boys."  It's a buyers market however, plenty of choice, so good luck wherever you end up. 💰

  11.     Guys like Matt Berkey and crew on the Only Friends YT channel  regularly discuss win rates and variance and how hard it is to come up with meaningful figures. The simplest figures are BB/100 in cash games and ROI in tourneys but needing pretty big sample sizes to be useful. If your then changing strategies you would need large sample sizes for each one, a much larger task.

I'm only a part time rec, there are many better candidates that may be able to help, but Good Luck and welcome to the community. 👍🙂

  12. Day 7

       Win 5 Hexas. 🤮

Despite my trepidation and misgivings it worked out much better than I was anticipating, except for one aspect (more later*.) I decided to play the cheapest fastest version, 0.20c Extreme, and to my surprise did quite well, the run good  seeming to be above average being a major contributing factor.

    image.png.015ffc1df31a3039b841a0f64f4f9f21.png

I won 5/8 🥰 but 4/5 of those were the minimum return of 0.20c, won1/2 at 0.60c and won 0/1 at 0.80c.   *1.60 invested, 1.40 returned, a winning by numbers of 62.5%, an roi loss of 12.5%. 🤮 Maybe the sample size isn't large enough! 😬

  13. Day 6

Not a very happy morning then, but that's poker. I 4 tabled for 105 mins, played (or didn't play) 1505 hands, lost 12.79E but have excuses. I'm unlucky and... well that's it.

    image.thumb.png.8b46cef327ce2649ec1315dc1c1e775d.png

To be fair I was a bit loose early on but have decided my strategy for the next Banzai session and am actually looking forward to it. 🥰

Seeing the prize I might hop back in after a cuppa.  Only 25 flops to see rather than 300!  🤨

Because I know @SShcherbyna will complete the banzai mission in about 6-7 hours, I would like to know if reaching sensei level is enough😇

I would think 6-7 hours is enough for him to do it a dozen times or more, he could probably build stacks on all tables and take it in turns to be Sensei on each one. Luckily we only have to make it to black belt level, all in 50 times, cost 50E (if you lost every one) job done.

    The most boring mission

I think most of the missions are boring tbh. I found this one quite interesting though, as are any where you can come up with what you hope is an optimal strategy to try and complete rather than sitting around just waiting for something to happen, be dealt a pair of Aces, those are the boring ones.🥱  In the end I was limping even with big pairs as I wasn't interested in playing any hands without a flushing chance. The previous Banzai, seeing flops, was a change from "normal" strategy, although I'm sure many low stakes players will do this anyway. Tomorrow will be  playing Banzai again, something I wouldn't usually do, but I can't see any way to change strategy to ease the path to success, you simply have to get your all ins to complete.

    6 tabling, 50bb stack, 30 minut and done 😉 play looosee 😉

More or less the plan I'd decided on except full stacks to start.

It didn't start well, all in pre with QQ<AA, 🤮 12 minutes before a decent chance. I literally limped every chance and called a single raise every time. Another all in QQ>AK held, didn't flop any flushes but all 4 made were from flopping 4 to the flush. Biggest win was calling pre with 65, flopped two sixes, turned a 5 then villain shoved, KK. 👍 Actually made very little profit from flushes but the by-products were sweet. Thirty eight minutes, 166 1/2 BB profit, what was I worried about? 😍

  17. Quick update.

I've played 1 hour 38 mins, four tabling and not a sniff of a flush... but I have been playing my main ticket for the Santa Flips, with a pretty tight strategy designed to not get me into too much trouble (down 16E on the day so far, so that's going well 🤮.) Sixty flops seen, two more bronze flip tokens gained, time for a break and a change of strategy, chase any two flushing cards. Could be expensive but ho ho ho, let's go.

    😍
