@testuser1 8 guys left with top-7 getting a ticket and the blinds being 120/240 with the small stacks hovering around 2200-3000? Then re-raising all-in with KK was the right choice. Way too early to play it safe here. Better to put your stack on the line and practically secure the ticket with a strong hand like KK than to play scared and face the decision of calling an all-in with A4o a few orbits later... Besides, that was a UO2 satellite, so who cares? The level of competition at those tournaments is so bad, even if you get beat and lose the UO10 ticket, you can easily win it back over the next few games. So all in all: WP.

@SCOBY BOO-HOO. I'm a winner at the UO10 level, in a few months I increased my bankroll from 20 UO10 tickets to 100+ without adding my own money to it. Not bad isn't it? In march/april I was experiencing a downswing of epical proportions and my longest losing streak were 27 games! It took me 27 UO10 tourneys to win one single UO50 ticket. I got beat by 1-outers, 2-outers and so on. Guys calling my AK all-in preflop with AJ and getting lucky on the river. When I had KK, they had AA. When I went all-in with AA preflop, they called me with KK and turned a set. My point is, that's poker. Good players make sure that a downswing like that doesn't put their bankroll at risk by moving down when things get rough. You should have done that as well, instead of cursing out other players. A victim mentality never leads to anything. Look at yourself and what you can improve and in a few weeks you might attack again.

I think this is quite a lazy argument. I used to be a full time journalist and I've spent years working with people in the media. In my experience the best and most creative people were usually the most profane. Profanity often adds an extra dimension to language and if it's used well then it can be brilliant. There are plenty of people who are clearly stupid, immature or mean (and in those cases it becomes pointless getting offended by them) but, in my opinion, written language can be hugely enriched with a nice bit of creative swearing. Shhhh, don't hurt his feelings...
