  2. Meeting players through the UK Tour and the Unibet Open, smaller fields in the tournaments, reasonable tournament finish times, being able to change aliases and no Huds is why I play here.
  3. I'm hoping it will come back too as meeting fellow players through the UK Tour is what attracted me to Unibet Poker in the first place. I try to play the Opens too, but at that price entry level it's not so easy. Live poker is thriving in the UK post-covid. Would be a strange time to announce a permanent withdrawal.
  4. 2 day event is much better for those with work the next day ie most people. Early morning finish with a full work week ahead is not a good prospect. OK granted if you win it you won't care too much, but finishing just outside the final table means a win of 3 buy ins or less. Just not worth a late night for.
  5. Why not have both routes and cater for a wider set of players? Some players prefer the traditional 1 in 10 which the 25 euro to 250 euro offers. I'm guessing Unibet are trying to reduce overlays but if that's not the reason then I say keep both. I know an argument is to keep it simple but it doesn't take much working out what the routes look like and then choose accordingly. I don't track the numbers, but if there is a low number of 25 euro entries then I'd suggest it's partly due to the lack of an ability to change tickets down into 25 euro tickets. If you want to exchange tickets down you are forced into route B. That's my contribution. Hopefully we can get to see the tickets converted into a live experience in 2022. I'm missing everyone!

    My stats

Thanks GR1ZZL3R. I had indeed missed that. I must admit I've used the community a lot less recently due to the absence of live event posts which is for understandable reasons. Unfortunately it sounds like the UK Tour has permanently ended from what I have seen which is a real shame. It's the live events that help put faces on names and makes Unibet more of a community rather than a collection of random user names which is what you get with most of the other sites.

    My stats

My last post has been recorded as my first ever post despite years of posts. Any idea what is going on? If you click on my profile you can see only 1 post is recorded against me yet you can also see multiple posts if you look to the column on the right. Weird.

    Tickets

Any one have any idea what expiry dates 2 and 10 mean against my Unibet Open tickets? Normally a specific date is quoted.
  9. Please get rid of 'cancer4you'. Not nice for a 'friendly' site.
  10. Couldn't agree more. Long late regs and allowing multiple re-entries is a real turn off for me.
  11. Thanks for clarifying @Patric-Unibet That makes perfect sense now and is a good compromise. I wish the same approach could be applied to the Unibet Open as well. That would improve the situation when qualifiers are running for an unknown date and place where at the moment the player has to commit to playing if they qualify. Having the fallback of moving to the next event would encourage more people to enter the early qualifiers. I know this has stopped me playing before.
  12. Is that definitely the case @Patric-Unibet ? The terms state that you can only move the seat once. I wouldn't want @NeriPoker to lose his ticket. A package/seat can be postponed to next event only once, except for the final event of the 2020 season which cannot be postponed.
  13. Hi @RayL After a couple of weeks I wrote directly to support and they arranged with the Poker Team for the block to be removed. I never did get an answer on why I was blocked in the first place, but the main thing was to get unblocked which happened so I'm happy.
  14. I think it's the shortening of the levels from 40 mins to 30 mins on day 1 that has put people off. That's my guess anyway based on what put me off from playing the 2019 tour other than this one leg, having previously played most of the legs since the very first one back in Feb 2016 (I think). The addition of the Unibet Open packages is a big attraction and is what brought me back this time - I hope that is staying for the revamped tour. Congrats on winning by the way. And it was good to meet you at the start of day 2.
  15. That reminds me when I jumped into a satellite at the last minute to the first ever Unibet UK Tour leg in Brighton due to the huge overlay. I realised after it was being held on Valentines Day and had a similar task - how best to break the news to Julia that I had won a seat and would be away over the Valentines Day weekend! I then won a Unibet Open package to Malta via the last longer so I hope you have the same luck. Run good. See you next week.
  16. Hi @JeppeL Hope you are well. Is there any news about my ban? I'm still unable to view the poker promotions page. I'm still seeing the usual notice that I am banned from promotions. I've still no idea why I have been banned.
  17. @JeppeL Thanks for looking into this. Knowing the Unibet community staff I would have been staggered if I had been blocked. Just didn't sound like something you would do. Not sure why I've been banned. Certainly not for winning too much money on the betting 🤣 ; if anything potentially banned from the promotions for not betting enough. It's a shame that at the moment it's impacting on the poker side (by making the promotions page invisible unless I bother to load up another broswer).
  18. @Leo-Unibet Are there any results posted anywhere? I haven't found them by searching, not even on the Hendon Mob site which surprised me. Always nice to look at the results to hopefully spot people I know cashing.
  19. I'm definitely banned from promotions as support have told me. No idea why. I did have a grumble in the community area previously about the blind levels for the UK Tour being reduced to 30 mins, but I can't believe that I would be penalised for that. When I asked I was told 'I can only confirm that this was a business decision and has been made at the highest level.' :Scared: Even if it's nothing to do with Poker, it's still annoying as I will have to use a different browser if I wish to see promotion details in future (which means I probably wouldn't bother) or hope that I spot details in the community area.
  20. Not that I'm aware of! Definitely going to Manchester as I've got 2 tickets and a hotel booked. I haven't been to a Unibet event since Dublin last year so looking forward to it. Would be good to see you there.
  21. I forgot to say - I'm from England and haven't had problems before.
  22. Thanks for the suggestions. 😃 I've tried accessing that page using another browser and that worked this time. Still baffled why I've been blocked from promotions in the first place. @Patric-Unibet Can you advise if this extends to poker promotions (and if so why?). I'm not bothered about casino play and sports bets so if Unibet want to ban me from them then whatever, but banning me from poker promotions would be a concern.
  23. I was hoping to go to the Manchester leg but when I tried to view the webpage for details I am shown the error message below. I have queried this with support and they have advised that '16.2 Unibet reserves the right to make changes to the betting limits, pay-out limits and offerings and add or remove promotions at Unibet's discretion at an individual customer level. Any changes shall not relieve Unibet of its obligation to honour any outstanding obligations or wagers at the time of such change. - https://www.unibet.co.uk/general-info/terms When such restrictions apply it prevents you from accessing our promotional pages and is why you are viewing the page in question. I have provided an alternative link to our UK Poker Tour for the event in Manchester, for your reference. If you have any issues accessing, please ensure that you are logged out of your account' I have no idea why they have banned me :Veryangry:. The alternative link didn't work either. I did notice on the page before it shut down that there were poker promotions such as the one for the IPO. Does that mean I am not eligible for those? Obviously, if I am not allowed to even view the website then I won't be aware of these going forward even if I am eligible. You are ineligible to participate in promotions as per our Terms & Conditions. You'll be now taken to Unibet home page.

    MPN News

Sad to hear the news of the demise of MPN. Rather than allow the likes of Poker 'more rake is better' Stars grow even more dominant, this would be a good time for people to remind friends of the benefits of playing at Unibet. And a good time for Unibet to increase publicity/promotions over the next 6 months. Don't let online poker turn into a monopoly.
