  1. This time I didn't cut my session short. Things were looking quite well but a bad run at the end reduced the profits. The BR is now at 206€. I also managed to play my 6€ cashgame ticket from the rakeback programme up to 11€. Not an overly great day but certainly better that the past couple days. I will probably spend a day in the mountains tomorrow. Not sure if I will put in a grind after that.
  2. Another short session, another 6€ loss. I am getting really annoyed at running so bad at these low stakes. This is the 3rd losing day in a row, even though the loss isn't massive. I really wouldn't mind actually winning again.
  3. wow, some people vehemently refuse to use their brain (not even trying to hide their cheating). I played the same stakes just a little later on the same day, I wonder if I encountered these two guys as well. @Andy-Unibet Does Unibet refund money lost to cheaters? Alternatively, what happens with these people's funds?
  4. Ended today's session after only 2 hours as I was getting wrecked.I ran a lot better in the end and managed to reduce the loss to about 6€, although I also used up my 5€ Hexapro ticket.
  5. 5€ loss today. I am realizing that I make quite a few mistakes that can be followed back to the high table count. Anyway I think it is still the best solution as the stakes are so low and the not-caring donkfish certainly make up for it.
  6. The roll went up to 195€. Can't complain, things are going in the right direction now.
  7. played for 3,5 hours tonight and made a plus of about 50€. Finally a good day.
  8. Played for 3 hours and won 12€. I am still disappointed because it's a horrible hourly, especially if you take into account what happened last month.
  9. People were doing the craziest of things but I couldn't win. I ended up losing a euro or two and 2,5hours of my life. Winning hasn't been a thing for several weeks now and I simply get annoyed and can't be bothered to play anymore. Will give it another shot tomorrow.
  10. Hi @LeVsKaRa the main difference to me seems to be the fact that there are significantly more people at the 4s and below who don't even try to win (i.e. 4bet/getting it in with K5o and these things). I don't know about the regs, they seem somewhat solid to me.
  11. Long time no see. Poker I decided earlier this year that my interests in languages and chess are much greater than my in interest in poker and therefore decided to cut down significantly on my study efforts and also move down significantly in stakes. Unfortunately, my last few sessions have all been losing sessions, which always led me to an early quit and overall very little volume. This is why I will be playing some 4€ SNGs here exclusively the next few days at least (after taking tomorrow off), as there is no volume related pressure. I started with the 50€ worth of bonuspoints that I still had from last year's promotion and played it up to 100€ already (the losing sessions were mainly on pp). The case with Brocky The case has been referred to the court and both parties were asked to send in their evidence. The hearing is scheduled for the 26.03.2021 via Internet. I will be reporting on the outcome. Chess This is still what I spend most of my time on. I don't think there is too much to tell. All the competitions are still online due to Covid. Languages My interest for languages has significantly grown. I spend round about 90 minutes every day absorbing "comprehensible input" in several different languages. I'll leave a link to what "comprehensible input" exactly is in the description. Other things I pretty much don't have a social life at the moment. I am planning to do some daytrips to snowdonia again soon though.
  12. I think we have found ourselves a little insomnia group here:atisfied:
  13. those sleep problems, ey:laugh: I am going to try out sleepmasks soon, might be something to think about as well
  14. I know you said you had more money to fill up if you bust your roll but playing 50s and 100s with <400€ in the account, it seems like you are almost asking to go broke...
  15. @LLinusLLomu00 thanks. One thing I learned far too late is that when regs call or jam too wide it isn´t necessarily because they are ignorant of the nash charts, sometimes it´s an individual or playerpool exploit. There are a number of factors to consider like future game for example. One such example would be stacking off a bit lighter than nash when you can potentially overtake the chiplead and print EV
  16. I can relate to the lack of content and people to talk strategy with I am currently working through the slaying 6max hypers course by slayerv1fan and Bencb. It seem like pretty good content but it´s damn pricey https://www.raiseyouredge.com/courses/slay-hypers
  17. On break until December. Probably won´t be playing on Unibet though in the near future
  18. we should be fair though and launch men only tournaments as well. How about having seperate tournaments for blacks and whites as well? In all seriousness though, how can there even be any discussion about this in the 21st century? Women have no inherent disadvantage compared to men in any strategy game like chess or poker, so providing extra benefits for them solely on the basis of gender is sexist.
  19. @CuteRaven I can relate to the sleeping problems:dissatisfied: Tried having my alarm clock in another room but it doesn´t help
  20. GL Have definitely seen you at the tables a few times, though I have no notes of any kind on you
  21. @monkeyheaven that´s not entirely correct. I have been playing poker on and off since 2014. Played every format besides Spins. In December I decided to relearn the SNG format and stick with it. Admittedly I have never been great at any format though.
  22. @P0kerM0nk I am not folding AA there @TBladePc This is not the place to ask but anyway, go to this link https://unibet-uk.helpsite.cloud/home then try to find whatever it is you need help with. After clicking everything through a "need more help" or something like that appears and you can get to the live support.
  23. here we go with the summary of the year: first things first, the promo itself: I played about 1.800 SNGs between the 25s and 100s, total result post everything is -14,77€ This includes 76.000 Bonuspoints from the leaderboard as well as the cashback and 60€ from a playthroughbonus from before the promotion began Here is a broad timeline of the year: ...-December 2019 I played a 30€ deposit up to 500€ playing solely NL4. The idea was to stay this low to avoid variance. I realized that this plan was bollocks and I hated cashgames,so I... Dec 2019 - Feb 2020 ...switched to SNGs. I bought ICMIZER and watched every video on youtube concerning SNGs. I grinded the 1s for a week, bagging a little over 200€ in profits. I moved up to the 2s, where I hit the first little downswing (lol). It was more of a 500 game breakeven stretch and by mid January I had grinded it out, moving up to the 4s. No obstacle at the 4s, after 1.000 games I moved up to the 10s. By early February I was adding 25s. February - April the Covidboom allowed for playing 25s exclusively, with the odd 50 and 100 firing up. The 25s turned out to run really badly for me. I played 2.200 of them with a 0% ROI. Rakeback, running hot at the few 50s+ and a handful of 10s that ran much better made me hit a 5.000€ bankroll anyway. I withdrew all my funds. April - May I moved to partypoker. Deposited 100€. Lost it. Deposited another 100€. Lost it again. The third time I managed to play it up with 10$ 6 max hyper SNGs. Within a month I had played the new roll up to 3.000$ and added 20s along the way. Late May This was the first really big losing day. I lost 4 figures for the first time. Little did I know that this was the beginning of a... May - September ...5 months breakeven stretch. Yep, it was mental torture. September - October by this time I was following a week on/week off schedule. Partypoker and Unibet announced their juicy promotions at the same time, so I developed my plan to play double volume for 6 weeks and then relax, though I will change the plan a little bit. More about that later. After 5 months of misery I finally caught an upswing for the last fortnight of September, making 3.000€ in profits. I went over to the Unibet grind after this and you all know how it ended. The total profit for the year is about 13.200€, to put this into perspective, this is a little less than minimum wage. On top of that I "lost" 5.000€ in a staking deal. I was told not to talk about it here but you can pm me for more information about that. It´s still an ongoing issue, it isn´t entirely clear if I will ever see any of that money again. This leaves us with 8.200€ in profits. Graphs: You want to be looking at the blue lines, as they are pre rake. Partypoker pays over 100% rakeback to high volume grinders so you want to even add a little bit to that. I had to create a new account because of the new German regulations, that´s why there are two graphs. Thoughts: To my best knowledge I have the worst results of all the midstakes SNG regs on pp. I seem to be losing the rake across the border on all stakes higher than 10s, including Unibet. I do see myself as a reg in the lower half in terms of skill, but certainly not the bottom of the lower half. Why do I think so? There are two regs on pp that repeatedly commit some very serious errors, there are three or four other regs that keep committing some less detrimental but nontheless continuous mistakes. Everyone else seems quite solid. Sure, there is the odd mistake here and there but I generally think that my mistakes are more damaging than theirs. Obviously I wouldn´t necessarily spot mistakes in the other player´s game, e.g. if someone is folding too often. Plans: Originally my plan was to not play any poker at all anymore in 2020. I will reduce the off time to November. I won´t be doing any poker related activities the next few days, after that I plan to do about an hour or so every day. I have bought the new Slayer + Bencb course and marked about 1.300 ICM spots during the past 6 weeks. Didn´t realize it was that much. I will work through as many as I can after I have worked through the course. Other activities include studying more chess and languages, as well as having another outdoorday if the restrictions and the weather allow for it. Afterthoughts: I have either been the least lucky or the least talented player on my stakes this year. Maybe both. I suspect the tendency to strongly be in favour of bad luck. Some people have made 10x my profits on the same stakes, others have made 3x or 4x my profits. Few have made less than double what I made. It should be very likely for next year to be more successful than this one.
  24. @P0kerM0nk I don´t fit the description, as I didn´t play at all during week 2 and hardly during week 3. But I detected no such player myself so I am eager to know who it supposedly is
  25. tough luck back when I was counting myself earlier this year my most common finish on every buyin level was 3rd (yep, the donkspot), 5th was by far the least while 1st and 2rd were about level and slightly more common than 4th. Always wondered me because if anything I am/was too tight in bubble spots. Maybe it came from 5th place being taken by a stackdonating donkfish most of the time?! Who knows
