  1. Had one of these sessions where you keep getting coolered, but - and this is the unusual part - I cracked more often than not. It´s a nice reminder of how things can go when the RNG generator has mercy on your soul. Only palyed for about an hour and cut the overall loss back down to 30€. 20th on the leaderboard although the people behind me are much closer than the people above me, so I might have to play a bit more tomorrow
  2. Finished my week on pp on went over to Unibet, where I grinded out about 30 points on the leaderboard. I lost another 1.000€ today combined, losing still seems to be the default position no matter what I do. I think I will have a relaxed weekend with some poker for the mincash again and a big update with a resume of the entire year and some future plans on Sunday.
  3. nice performance, although I am pretty sure you ran above EV with those results. I am eager to know who the sh1treg you keep referring to is. Maybe you can pm me?!
  4. It´s this flipping aspect of poker that I simply cannot get to terms with. It makes one feel just so helpless when things are not going the right way for a really long time
  5. @P0kerM0nk I have thought about moving down but my 10s winrate has been quite solid and if anything it is going to become worse with more volume, which would certainly not motivate me to move back up. Changing format has been a thought of mine as well, but I don´t want to start all over again and it won´t help against downswings either Plan is to not spend any thoughts on poker at all in November
  6. I am seriously considering leaving poker for good. I just keep losing month after month after month. I will force myself through this last week of promotions and then reconsider, at the moment I am giving it a 50/50 chance
  7. Little update: Lost twice as much on party as I won on Unibet today. What´s the bloody point of all this
  8. your first mistake is that you assume that it´s the format´s fault that you lose. Besides, I don´t think there would be a general interest in pot limit texas holdem, but I could be wrong of course
  9. Actually won a bit today. Loss is now at 370€. Nr 16 on the leaderboard. 31 points lead on Nr 21 so I should be safe
  10. played a bit more today. Climbed to 21st on the leaderboard so not far to go. The games seem much softer than at the beginning of the promo, which is of course a good thing. What isn´t a good thing is that I keep losing. The total minus is now 1.500€ pre leaderboard or 800€ post, matched by the same loss on party during the past 2 weeks. I have only one rant today, as the rest isn´t worth showing
  11. I finished the party grind today and subsequently went over to the Unibet grind. Converted 500€ worth of Bonuspoints into SNG tickets and cashed 290€, classic. I am starting to become a bit superstitious, expecting to lose. Maybe I am just a horrible player after all, but one way or the other I am quite convinced that I am one of, if not the least lucky player at midstakes SNGs, more about that next week in my summary of the entire year. For now I am going to keep the head down for most part of the weekend, the plan still is to go for a mincash on the leaderboard.
  12. @monkeyheaven as the games seemed quite a bit softer today than in week 1 I would change my mind and say 10% is achievable, it wouldn´t be easy however and I see myself at at 3-4% probably.
  13. @monkeyheaven well, I still have to disagree. Maybe it is because I literally had a bad year at everything higher than 10s, maybe because I am not good enough, but I simply don´t see how even bad regs can be exploited for such a winrate, especially when 12 tabling.
  14. I am really surprised at your high estimate of your 25s ROI. I played the same table count and estimated 1%, 2% at the very most. After all the games are/were super reg heavy. Are you that confident you have a considerable edge over the other regs?
  15. the vast majority of the action is happening on party and that only because they are effectively paying regs to pay, as @monkeyheaven has pointed out. Highest stakes are 1ks, but there isn´t much going on beyond 200s really. 50s and 20s, the stakes I play, get a decent amount of volume but the situation remains very fragile. If they remove the daily leaderboards then the volume is most likely going to crash as well.
  16. @CuteRaven that´s a good point, but it probably will have a higher EV for me to play on party first as they will change the daily leaderboard on Wednesday. That´s one of the negative changes. The leaderboard over there is going to worsen and it has been announced that it might disappear completely if certain targets aren´t going to be hit. What exactly that would mean for SNG players is unknowable at this point in time, but it will most certainly not be very good.
  17. Finished my week on party. Tomorrow is a rest day. I think I ran quite hot today and yesterday but I didn´t check the roll so don´t know for sure. Plan is to play on party until probably Friday next week, then aim for a mincash on the leaderboard here the remaining two days of the week. The SNG scene has been seeing some unexpected and mostly negative changes in the recent past, so I will not be planning any further for the moment😉
  18. I have never studied postflop ICM and don´t even know how to. Could of course be very rewarding to study but again, how?
  19. I like the fold with the weak flush. I guess there aren´t many cases where you hold the best hand and if you don´t you have no outs. Pretty brutal to see what they had, pretty brutal run alltogether. I feel you
  20. @monkeyheaven @CuteRaven Just saw we are in the BB with the A4o hand (I thought it was the SB). Changes things slightly, but I think I still fold. I know that many people suggest defending the BB really wide but with A4o at 10BB effective Stack there is almost nothing sensible we can hit. A4x and 235 are the only good flops, Axx has a lot of reverse implieds and the many flops that just miss us completely usually just mean giving up on the flop.
  21. @Groggy you could well be right about that. I am afraid though that if that´s the case it´s more sensible for me to just stick with hypers
  22. yeah, it´s vital to give them a sensible openingrange with ICMIZER otherwise the results are a bit flawed At 28 bb I non-allin 3bet quite a polarized range from the SB. I like to keep things simple from that position
  23. I fold the A4o and jam the KQo
  24. I agree with everything you said except one thing that AA vs 44 hand was actually a 1 outer
