Got my results in of last month, obviously not good but hey ho, ran terrible and by the end of the month I didn't feel like putting in too much volume anymore after this downswing. Shocking bb/100
50NL -> 35039 hands played, -€1056 = -6 bb/100
25NL -> 7918 hands played, +€24.59 = 1.24 bb/100Before the months reset I checked all the stats in the game lab and they were pretty much the same as the month before so wouldn't say my game changed much in any way before or during the downswing so I blame most of it on the run bad. It does ask a lot of your mental game losing pot after pot but hopefully we are back on track and have the worst behind us for now.
At least we made a head start this month
Few hands all on 25NL:
CO posts the BB and I iso, he calls, I x flop and he bets 1/2 and decided to call, posting the blind he has lots of junk and decent flop for my hand, let's see what he does on the turn, I check and he jams lol, not the best turn but these players can turn up with all sort of stuff, pretty good outcome vs this hand and we hold.
Hand vs reg, UTG opens I 3b and he calls, I bet 2/3 on the flop and he calls, terrible turn card as he has all these middling cards in his range so I x back, A river again not much my hand can do but x and thankfully he x as well so lost the minimum here lol
3b 88 in SB vs CO, get called, that's how we want to flop all the timelol, I bet 1/2 on the flop although I could x this with the stonecold nuts but I go with my standard cbet size, he calls and I x turn and he bets 1/3 or something, I call and then he bet this on the riv, obviously I jammed and he folded, not sure that's a good size if he is going to fold to 24 more bb's when I shove. Actually no idea what hand he could have had as he snap folded. Think I prefer a block or a shove in his spot on the river. Or a give up depending what hand he had.
BvB all in pre, I open SB and get jammed on... why is this always a sweat on the flop but we hold.
UTG opens, MP calls, I squeeze, UTG folds and MP halfstack calls, nice flop and he bet 80% on the flop then jams turn lol, easy game for me.
Probably get in to some 50NL again and see how it goes, if we are back to running well I shouldn't be wasting it at 25NL lol, maybe I should move up to 100NL- 3

January over and haven't really played too much lately, ended the month down -€625, 12 buy ins down at 50NL, could have been worse. Have requested my stats so will see what it says exactly 50NL vs 25NL.
Playing is a bit harder lately as gf is working night shifts for a few weeks and I have to look after the dog in the evenings and nights, problem being that he (Lhasa Apso) will be 16 in a few months and he is starting to show his age, he's been on heart medication for some time now as he just has a harder time going for walks when it's really cold or really warm. It's been like this for over a year now so nothing too special but it is getting worse to the point we can't really take him out anymore as it is just too cold and he coughs all the time. Also some loss of hearing and sight which is normal for his age, it's not bad but you can notice it declining. Worst thing is he also has some dementia setting in affecting his day and night regime, we go to bed at normal times but he always needs to get up and out between 1am and 6am meaning I have to get up as well lol. Sometimes I'm up for half an hour as he is out, comes back in, then wants out again etc etc till he settles on the sofa. On a bad night I have to get up 2-3 times. It is what it is, even though he isn't in the worst physical shape apart from these things, especially for his age, I doubt he'll make it till the end of the year. Hopefully he goes peacefully in his sleep at some point but there is always a chance we will have to make that decision in his place if his life quality suffers too much but we aren't at that point yet!
And that's why it's harder to play when I'm on my own, as he wants in and out and wanders about instead of laying in his basket like he used to do before.
Anyway, new month, hope we see a better result of this in February:
Have received another RAKE 750, GET 150 playthrough bonus but still have to clear a €50 one atm. Haven't made my mind up yet if I'll take it on or not as depends on me getting back in to NL50 so will see when I clear the €50.For the RAKE 900, GET 180 I had before, I gained 90k XP (obviously as this is the rake), almost 15k BP and played 26k hands. Currently have 53,650 BP to spend.
So much to do, so little time last weekend I ended up cooking too much so didn't have too much time to play or I was too tired, from cooking and from getting up during the nights lol. I made peanut butter, humus, chunky celery/tomato/bean soup and aubergine chilliI was going through some theory videos as well and I have yet to re-new my poker scientist sub but I'll prob wait till the bankroll is a bit bigger again (if lol) and then take some money off to pay for the sub.
Dog pic for cuteness feck he is looking old, poor dog, my baby!

@Samba I thought everyone on this forum would have known by now and imo it is something they should make available as an option in the client, can imagine not everyone reads these forums.

Wonder how many poor souls are not aware you can ask to cancel the playthrough if you aren't going to make it anyway so you don't waste 2 weeks of other possible playthrough bonuses.

Story continues sadly enough, can't even win at 25NL anymore... bankroll 2k
Not had the most volume this week, haven't had the most time tbh and also trying to play 4 tables for more focus but don't think it is needed if the pool is splashy, like it often is at 25NL... and played a few times on the ipad too this week so limited to 4 tables there anyway.
Not getting away from this crap either...
Played an hour today, biggest pot won €10 and after that €7 and smaller lol3 biggest losses today:
UTG opens, I 3b he 4b very big but I decided to call as he was playing awfull weird, thought of jamming but JJ meh... hit the JP, he bets 1/2 and I just jammed over it as was not much left in his stack so all in on the flop... ff'ing great..
All in pre... he squeezed with 99 and jammed over my 4b... previously he called a 3b or 4b with a similar hand and called it off on 3 streets on a Qxx-x-x board and lost vs KK... no luck for me...
123bb deep, I open CO whale calls, BTN squeezes and I 4b which I did a few times before lol and he jams... great... oh nope again no luck...UTG limps, I just completed in SB and we see a flop which goes x/x/x, UTG pot bets turn and I call BB folds, UTG then bets 2/3 and easy raise as counter all his better Ax hands, oops, he just called.
2 hands I wasn't involved in but just to confirm Unibet is rigged
Random joins the table, I call QJs because of blinds, and SB open jams lol good to see it's not just me running sh!t
Few hands later, MP opens and whale from above 3bets lol, MP calls, then get it in on the flop lol...
whale then left a bit later...Am going to play 25NL till I'm back up to €2,250 as want to get out of this mess first, very frustrating to say the least.

Single raised pot and he jams 100bb in to a flop cbet… unless he’s crazy easy fold

I run in to these crazy runouts too but it seems hard to believe that the software is rigged in some way as with all these gambling type of games they are all regulated and monitored, or I hope so at least lol.
Maybe the better question would be, why does it feel like fun players have more luck on Unibet than the regs? Or why are there more bad beats vs fun players?
I don’t play or haven’t played a lot on other sites in recent years so personally I can’t compare. I guess there must be a logical explanation to this, I know our mind isn’t too objective remembering stuff and we mostly remember the bad beats rather than the easy wins.
We can’t use HUD’s either here so makes it harder to differentiate in the type of fun players so maybe we take a general approach vs the fun player pool rather than the individual and maybe this works against us weaker regs?
Also the more fun players the more hands you play vs weaker or wider ranges on all 3 streets so you will more often face a bad beat? Or is my logic off here?

Hands hands hands from the past few days...
BvB, I open he calls, I cb he calls, I x/c turn and c/r the river as I think this is a good candidate but his bet size was a bit fishy and I would play a FD like this on that 7 turn so having Js is nice + blocking some 9x combos. He snapcalled lol.
MP funplayer opens, I 3b on BTN, boom flop, I bet he calls, feck turn and he open jams lol, easy call ofc and we didn't hit our flush and have to chop the pot... too much of these bad runouts lately when flopping the nuts.
Open 66 in CO, get 3b and decided to call this time, flop goes x/x and he x again on turn so I bet small for value/protection vs AK type of hands, river goes x/x... very strange 3b from a reg type player... don't get this and I don't understand why he isn't betting that flop either now he got a FD. #random
Open KQs in the CO, get 3b and I call, again flop and turn go x/x so I get a bet in on the river... ffs lol again don't understand why he isn't betting the turn as its ok for his hand I'd say...
Open AK on BTN, get 3b, I 4b and reg villain snapjammed 77... totally don't understand this either, I'm on lots of tables with this reg and I'm not spewing stacks away and not sure if he was tilting maybe but no idea what this 77 jam is. And again I lose a flip.
Open KJs in MP and CO calls, I cb flop and turn and he jams turn, I call and f river...
I open QQ on BTN, get 3b, I 4b and he calls, not the best flop nor the worst and goes x/x, turn villain donk bombs it and I call, and then shoved the riv and I call, how evil is that turn, 1 Q left in the deck and sure it has to come on the turn, would prob have folded otherwise. Villain reg was absolutely sunrunning on lots of tables.
Nothing too special but again, turn the nuts and hard to fold vs a funplayer on the river.
I 3b 99 SB vs BTN, he calls, I cb flop and get raised hmm... I call, not the best turn but goes x/x... river even worse as lose vs all Ax with a heart, maybe it saved me money if he had a flush on the turn who knows... flop a set no luck...
Don't lose all my hands, call a 3b and flop decend, call flop and x/r AI on turn, for once I'm not the one with a set on that board lol.
Hand vs button clicker, he opens 4x I 3b he calls, cb flop he calls turn goes x/x, I block riv for some thin value vs Q 9 or random crap, he jams, annoying spot but he played so randomly I called it off, maybe better to fold who knows but he shows A5o just random hand and flop float...
UTG opens, SB calls, I squeeze UTG folds and SB calls, bet flop and get jammed on easy call and nice call with J8o pre...
Again don't lose all of them, call 3b with T9s, call flop and lovely turn, get paid of at the river.
All in pre hand, telling you QQ is doomed... preflop I'm ahead vs these 2 hands, look at that flop, could it even be worse for my hand, SD and FD all over... AK ahead on the flop weirdly enough even with 3 other clubs out of the deck... oh man look at that turn 66% for me now but yup, not going to happen...#zerolucky

Feck, went broke and don't have enough to clear the last 0.06% - joking -
Thank feck we got past this one, that's it cleared and glad I don't HAVE to play for once. No use when I'm at work during the week. Bankroll still wrecked and 5 buy ins down today but less now with the rakeback
Don't think that since I came back almost 2 years ago I've ran this bad. (apart from playing bad to start with) And after a whole week of getting a beating day after day I'm kinda losing it. Just fed up, tilt coming back, I'm kinda lost in how to play as I question every play I make. Had only 1 winning day in the past week where I barely made 1 buy in lol I've lost 30 buy ins at 50NL in the past week now... bankroll still at 2.1k. Now I got through this bonus I'll prob play some 25NL again and stick to 4 tables, just try to get the confidence a bit back and then jump back in to 50NL.
Current all in 'luck' ... didn't think this was even possible...
Todays all ins:AJ-KQ 1-0 ----------- vs shorty
KK-33 1-0 ----------- vs spast
AA-QQ 0-1 ---------- vs reg AA doomed
KQ-KQ 0-0 (1) ---- vs shorty
AQs-AK 0-1 --------- vs 80bb stack
AQ-KK 0-1 ---------- tilt vs regLosing with AA once again, don't think I've won any of the last all ins with AA lately... and then hands like this just tilt the feck out of me so bad now... I don't spazjam A2o but the AQo vs KK was pretty bad, I opened UTG, MP calls, reg in BB squeezes, I 4b and he jams, don't think AQo is a call here... but apart from that, both AQ hands I had 30% equity and do you think I ever hit it, am I feck.
And this hand, UTG opens, MP random guy min 3b, I 4b and he calls, I x flop as I know his was spazzy and he bombs it and I jam, he calls... lovely but gets there... think QQ has been the hand I lost like heaps and heaps of pots with, preflop and postflop can't believe it. Even worse than aces lol.
And then I had set over set as well, just keeps on digging the hole I'm in. And pretty much every bluffspot I think is fine with blockers I have in my hand I bluff in to the nuts or set on a drawy board and get snapcalled time after time lol... very unreal actually.
At least now I don't have the playthrough deadline I can play when I want again and stop when I want. Let's see how the weekend goes... fingers crossed!

@HardGain a funny thing is I watch a few poker players on YouTube etc and seems they are all going through a rough period, makes me feel a bit better
Must be a massive poker rng scandal in the make across all the poker platforms… now where did I leave my tinfoil hat again
@GR1ZZL3R I’m not bankrupt yet so we’ll keep going, hope to see a day of profit rather sooner than later though, this downswing makes me play worse than ever, also questioning every action I take like I forgot how to play at times /doh
Can’t remember if I ever shared this one here, new video out from Riske, I like his thought process so another solid player. I maybe check out his twitch at some point. He’s got some excellent reads in this video.

@KrustyTheClown just down 8 buy ins for the month atm and hope it doesn’t get much worse, don’t fancy 25NL again might play some after I cleared the bonus to boost the confidence a bit. 25NL is def softer than 50NL imo.
@GR1ZZL3R 4NL does my head in, too much randomness and you just have to play tight preflop and try and hit flops with all the multi-way pots, need proper patience down there

Ok I lied, posting again Officially on a +20 buy-in downswing now, congrats to me
Lost a grant over the last 3 days and down 2 buy-ins again tonight so far... no ending to it.
Playthrough at 80% now, ended on 75% Sunday night so should be easy enough to clear by Friday.
3 all ins today with QQ, lost em all, vs AK / A5s / 65o
QQ is probably my doomsday hand, lose everything with is, preflop, postflop, even when everyone folds
Barely started the session and I get limp jammed on... his first hand on the table... sigh
And then another hand where I'm not involved in but same whale as above with 75s, UTG opens and SB 3b, UTG calls, SB bets like 80% on flop UTG calls, bets 3/4 on turn and UTG jams, he calls, and gets there...
One from yesterday, I open, get 3b, I 4b and he calls, I bet 1/3 he calls, I x/jam the turn he calls... wtf river eh.
I run so bad in 3b pots lately as well, nothing special at this hand but people seem to hit sets all the time vs my premium hands...This crap again, got QQ I 3b he calls, I bomb the flop he calls, I x the turn and he pots it like ffs, I call (questionable already as I also have the Qc) river goes x/x, wouldn't have called any non pair anyway but again 3b pots all going tits up.
Open BTN and BB calls, cb flop he calls, turn goes x/x and river he x and I bet big and he raises this size what chance is this being a bluff? Zero right lol. Also stupid how he went in the tank a long time turn and river. Nit regs lol.
One for @Pionrj, whale CO limps, BTN iso's, I 3bet (yes I know ATo) and whale calls, BTN folds, nice flop... I bet he calls, turn T I'm like FFS not again this pish and turn goes x/x river bricks and I just ship it like 130% pot bet and he called, I had to think of you PionrJ and your advice lol
All in luck 48 lost / 50 won
So what have we learned lately;
- Variance is a biatch
- Unibet it rigged, obviously
- This rake X get Y playthrough bonus isn't worth it if I'm not on holiday and the amount is so huge I need to play so much it wrecks my weekend especially when I don't win anything! Thank feck I'm getting €180 end of this week from this playthrough bonus, might be enough to re-start a bankroll challenge at 4NLAlso can't wait for Unibet to add equity % for all-ins, I want to suffer more when I see amazing equity advantages live when I ship it and get fecked over again and again

Yeh let's play some 50NL again I said, open up a table, literally the 1st hand I get dealt, CO opens, 50bb stack on BTN calls, I squeeze, CO folds and BTN calls, SPR is 1:1 so I just bet small on flop and BTN minraises... I call, turn x/x then get it in on the river for his remaining 20bb's... so silly these pots. AJo, nice hand.
