  1. KK hand, don't think it really matters what you do, depends on villain too, if passive ish I would start betting as don't want to hand out free equity and you want to start shoveling in money. In general we are allowed to cbet more on K high boards than A high boards as villains call more Ax hands than Kx hands pre. Having top set is annoying though as you block value but I prob bet 100% vs recs and check/raise vs regs. Probably often see a fold with your top set but when you get action just try and get it in as you are OOP. If you call their raise and check turn they can x back and see 2 streets for free, not ideal. Villain shouldn't jam flop with that hand either tbh.

JJ hand plays itself, can't fold and so many bad turns you rather get it in now, he could also have a set and not pay you off when a 4th spade drops. Or he could have a flush but you still have outs, it is what it is, villain obvious rec calling in SB.

Which course did you buy btw?

  2. And I have now for the first time tested positive for COVID after almost 2 weeks of having symptoms 😂 these tests are rubbish lol. Thankfully it hasn't been too bad, just cold like symptoms but it is certainly lingering about, prob coming up for 2 weeks now. Glad I had the jabs as having an asthma background this could have been worse. Seems like the spread here in Scotland has been worse than ever and like you can't even escape getting it. Hope this doesn't turn in to some terrible cold you get 2-5 times a year or whatever going forward... bloody corona!

  3. I wonder when I'm gonna have a run good day for once as I never seem to get an easy session ever. 3 buy ins down on 888 and 3 buy ins down on Unibet... seems everyone can run hot like hell apart from me. Even when I flop the nuts I never win a pot 🙄

All in luck, lost 12 - won 9 (lost 2x AK vs pp)

Squeezepot vs shortstacks. BB is all in pre and SB SPR is 1 on the flop and I just put him all in on the flop and he calls... 85% equity and yet again we don't hold...

    AABS.png.53b98cd3b7c1af963fd12127725fd5cd.png

4b pot, ofc I need to hit the last K in the deck.

    4BETBS.png.92ea3d7106a09d970a06f48a60c235f2.png

3b pre, he calls, I check call his jam on the flop... ofc again not allowed to win a pot...

    888shit.png.3fdab1eb6cd71dfae0f2c2c66b00d3fb.png

3b pot with AA, what a board again, nh bro
    nitfest.png.5edfe99edcc53b9d33943d7d7dd15e46.png

And a weird hand, don't get it how many quads people can hit all the time. Can't remember every street action but I x/r flop or turn but then I get x/r on the river lol, that's like K and nothing else as I have all the best boats and some K myself... how do people always hit these boards like this ffs.

    nitfest2.png.870772f3d9df21f65a49c1a99313b6a2.png

Absolute whale on this table, of course I get a hand and they have a better one... all in pre, even hitting a set on the turn doesn't help me lol

    quadsfuck3.png.b6d3eab63d84f40308c7c144e6d5dd11.png

Same villain, I 3b and face this donk... great...

    quadsfuck2.png.a1cc25918f14c53a88831d1e5801a1e7.png

Same villain again, get to the river and no way I can fold this boat... ofc vs quads yet again feck me.

    quadsfuck.png.613547f4da30b237ee31f323b79d32b0.png

Pisses me off this, I get decent hands and just get nowhere and then these monkey regs just click buttons vs this whale and get there, he 3b A9o then bombs the flop hits his A on the turn and sticks it all in on the river.... and gets called by 65s... how crap of a player am I that I can't win a hand vs this whale djeez...

Still waiting for my turn to win every pot left, right and centre! Days like this I wonder why I keep bothering...

  4. So the gf had covid and is still recovering ish and I have just struggled with a sore throat/neck, head ache and bit of a stuffed nose just now but have yet to have a positive test 🤷‍♂️ weird stuff, not the worst cold? I've ever had but it's taking its time, prob had the first 'symptoms' about 2 weeks ago lol.

Wouldn't say I played the most volume lately but trying to get back to it.

    888boom.png.e26e5adf1dc9a7614a096db3638200b8.png

888poker, actual wins on the table since starting about 40 days ago I think is $326 mostly playing 25NL SNAP (ZOOM) so the additional $158 is $100 from my deposit bonus and the rest is from winning hand of the day and some small returns from free tickets for tourneys or hexapro type of games.

Still $300 left to clear from my deposit bonus and 50 days left to do it, I'll be off 1st week of May and gf is away on holiday with her friends most of the week so I hope to get a decent amount of hands in then. Potentially playing some 50NL as well but depends on bankroll.

    unibetboom.png.59043eab6b58a2a14850c64540a28b76.png

Crawling back on Unibet, cleared 2x €25 playthrough bonuses and just bought another one, still have 23k BP left. So for now €50 real cash in the account and getting through these tickets.

I've just nitted up in general, a wee bit preflop but def postflop, less floating with marginal hands and less calling big bets on turns and definitely rivers. In theory or high(er) stakes some of my calls seem normal, 2 me anyway, but it just doesn't work at these micro stakes.

All in luck is 9 losses vs 8 wins atm lol, I joined a table last night, first hand I get AK in the BB and SB raises, we get it all in and he has AA 🙄 then a halfstacker at that table kept jamming so I called it off with AKo vs 77 and lost, then with AQo vs K2s and lost again. And later on I called an overbet on the river with a flush just for him to have a better flush lol, some tables are doomed.

Same on 888, didn't play last night but you get points for being active (type of crap rakeback) so I just joined SNAP for a few hands and I get KTs, one limps, other calls, and I ISO both call, flop KQxr, first limper donks out big, other folds so I just call, nothing else to do, turn Q he bets big again, ok bit dodgier but I call again. River another Q so ok now we split if he has a better K and he jams river, I was like does he have AA or something, I call and he shows AQo 🙄 nice donkbet on the flop lol.

Happy enough with my play last night, only remember one hand I should/could have folded after getting c/r on the flop and calling 3 bets as yes, yet again regs never bluff even when all the draws missed. Let's keep going!

  5. Seriously losing my sh!t on Unibet

    bs.png.8014ba877157e0461a2b81532a3c315a.png

3B AA, get 4b so we call, call flop bet and call jam on the turn... wtf is this all the time.

    bs3.png.35c210e4b562543dbf3e1adc60278223.png

MP opens, CO calls, I squeeze, CO calls, I bet flop and jam turn as weird SPR left, I'm ahead on the flop and still almost 40% on the turn... never to be...

    bs2.png.8dbae3ab8204f5edd34fe77dbf76dc23.png

How can you even built up a roll like this djeez...

  6. @GR1ZZL3RThanks, received our dog back today in his urn, very strange seeing my dog coming home in a box tbh 😪 I'm over the physical shock now but still missing his wee face when I get up or come home from work. I'm happy for the life he has had so I should be happy too lol.

About the tickets, prob thought it was half the ticket as that's when you get a 1 buy in ticket lol, so yeh I kept on playing. We are back where we started when I got the tickets 🙄 ran amazing today, mostly anyway.

    BOOM.png.99260f6471065699b495eb71916c30a9.png

Been a while I had a 600bb stack, barely manage to double up these days...

    beenawhile.png.d8cab0dc7549780e0fa1a4a7858a2edc.png

Too much of this has happened in the past weeks, get it in very good on the turn and still lose.

    allinonturn.png.8587a25f3c4a2d76a95ac92b294b07ac.png

Same happened here, all in on the turn and then the board paired and I'm like ffs not again, to then realize I had the other 44 😂

    quads.png.a28bf904b61a1b2912f5c73005f403bc.png

On 888, oh lets trap with AA... never to be, bloody joke. He x the flop and so did I, turn he bet small and I raised and he called, then he x/r AI on the turn and I'm like, ffs he's going to have TT isn't it... this line doesn't make sense with JJ-KK

    aacrap.png.5acdbe543aa4f77394e8cda45d28a850.png

Let's hope we can get these tickets up and going now we are back where we started...

  7. Going well... 🙄 2nd ticket is on the verge of getting changed in to real cash I think as that's what happens when you hit less than 50% of the original ticket if I'm right. Close... very close lol.

    OOPS.png.6a5d4ad4fe45689ae21bb4ad7f627bb4.png

Tough call... royal flush alert 😎 (He showed A9o with 9d)

    easy.png.a9f344d3d98eb58e9078d641cea88599.png

Think I have to nit my game up, too many nits around who never show me bluffs even when they should. Every time I bluff catch I tilt my tits off as they always show the nuts and nothing less. Think one day I lost 3 stacks with a K high flush to a A high flush.

Bit down on 888 as well just too random games at times, prob same thing that I have to play a bit tighter post flop in some spots but overall it's always the issue of too many multiway pots, even times when you 3b or 4b and then you see a Axx flop with KK 4 way and stuff like that. Or AK on 789tt and meh, hating life just by looking at it 😂 whilst the pot it bigger than my stack 😂 and then you sigh fold and you see some ridiculous hands getting jammed and called. Not the first time I folded the best hand either lol.

Not too happy with the way I've been playing lately... need more focus. And fold more vs reg nits.

  8. The space one is pretty neat, used it and it's as easy on the eyes as the plain ones. That's the problem imo with backgrounds, they are often too cluttery making it harder to see the action and cards etc. Especially if you play multiple tables. Maybe nice for one tabling on a mobile or something but that's about it. Didn't know you could add your own ones... might add some pussy as a background 🐱 😂

  9. Sadly enough I had to say goodbye to my almost 16y old 4 legged friend last night, his time had come and pretty sure we had the timing right. He's been an amazing dog and although I've 'only' known him for 9 years (being my gf's dog), he's been the best friend I've ever had. I overly enjoyed the time we had together and all the places we've been to. He was as good as they come, only regret is I can't rewind time and do it all over again 😭 🐶 ❤️

(my wee boy is the one without the antlers 😉)

Obviously have a broken heart right now and I've never cried so much in my life but I can only be happy with the life he has had and if every living being on this planet could have the same life as him, our Planet Earth would be a better place.

@KrustyTheClown As for poker, with the slightly challenging times of the past month, mostly lack of sleep, poker has been on a low volume. I dropped 2 buy-ins on both €250 tickets atm, wouldn't say I had the best run yet so far but hey ho. €14.85 in the cash bankroll now with clearing my €25 playthrough. The funny number is just the exchange rate as my account is in £.

Played a bit more on 888poker, just the 25 zoom variant which is just handier if I just have 15min or whatever, or even at work at times when my machine is running 😆. Total deposit was $415 and bankroll is now $780 where $40 came from clearing the deposit bonus so far and maybe another $20 from their hand of the day bonus, first time I won it I got $10 funny enough, which was a big one to start with as mostly it is just $0.5 so far, apart from a $5 few days ago.

I'm off work till Monday for obvious reasons and will probably play a bit more poker again. Feel kind of lost today so hopefully I can find some things to keep my mind occupied with.

is there a way to see when exactly the bonus runs out?

    1 hour ago, Andy-Unibet said:

    The exact date/time, unfortunately not.

14/03/2022 11:23 UTC is the expiry time of your current bonus.

I'm sure it now shows how many hours are left coming close to the end, like less than 4h left etc. Before it just said less than a day left which wasn't very informative.

Also these RAKE, GET bonuses are exact 2 weeks so if you can keep an eye on when you started it you know when it will end. (and then miss the deadline by a couple of % but that's another matter 😅)

  11. Pretty hard to run up a 1 buy in ticket imo as you are kind of hoping to get off with a good start so you are doing well. That's the reason I bought 10 buy-in tickets for 25NL as I don't want to play this weird game with one buy in where it almost feel like you are playing a tournament lol.

JJ hand can be close depending on perception of the reg and the rec. Also the stack depths to start with. JJ is dodgy with a tighter reg behind but the rec putting more dead money in the pot might make this more of a jam than you think. Not sure about calling vs jamming. Calling looks strong and again I can't really make out the stack sizes but what if other villain just calls and an A, K or Q comes up on the flop, pretty crap with JJ and you can't really fold anymore. Think I prefer a jam as puts his non pair hands in a tough spot like AK. Could call when you have AA yourself I guess. Probably overthinking this spot though 😆

  12. Started playing on 888poker again, I did play a bit with the free money they gave me for signing up before but went busto as was just not enough money and I just donked around a bit trying to see what the site was like. Have deposited $400 as they match this amount which I need to clear by playing. Might not get the whole lot but we will see.

Playing mostly 25NL snap which is their version of zoom. Pretty soft pool and I enjoy the format as we don't have this on Unibet here. It's nice for a change. Up so far on 888 and up on both my 25NL tickets on Unibet as well. Yes it has been a crazy period but sometimes it is nice to drop down and grind my way up again and then see where we end up again.

Overall 888poker software is smooth but the whole layout is absolute crap compared to Unibet. Also their mobile version is shocking, no landscape mode nor can you flip your mobile upside down.

One thing I like on 888poker is the control centre where you can see your Deposits / Withdrawals / Win-Loss / Active days per certain period. Especially the Win-Loss is nice to see as it shows you clearly how much you are up or down in the last 7 days for example. Easy way of keeping track of your own game and maybe good for some to see when they are losing / spending too much money.

Don't feel like quitting, still enjoy playing, still enjoy putting in some work off the tables and I'm not actually spending real life money on this as I just keep on building my bankroll so no need for a break. But I do enjoy not having to play a big volume as that just doesn't work for me personally so it isn't worth the possible reward.

  13. @Andy-Unibet Nope, I have 2 tickets and try to play 2 tables on each ticket so 4 tables total, not sure if it gets confused or something. Works fine to start with then starts messing it up on one table while rest works fine, after a while they all go feck 😆 and doesn’t seem they start to work again at any point unless I leave and join a table again.

Can’t really remember the time frame, could be after 5-10min, not sure. Maybe depends how many times I use the top up button. I use it all the time when needed to top up to 100bb.

  14. I wonder how current blackrain still is nowadays in the poker world. I don’t think  his videos are much value unless you are a beginner just starting out in poker.

Don’t think you need a HUD at all to beat 5NL for 10bb/100 either lol

And surely we can table select on Unibet as well, open more tables then you are going to play and pick out the best one(s)? Think it’s important to keep an eye on the table and re-value every 10min or whatever and leave if it’s full of regs.

The bare facts. I won't 🥱 you with too many details, just the major ones.

Eighty two hours played over 50 sessions, varying from 1-6 tables. (One table bad, six tables bad, I just can't find the sweet spot.)

23,892 hands at just under 300 per hour.

3,000 flops seen, one every 8 hands.

    695175214_Screenshot(1914).thumb.png.8e09c67a2bc3dd918de60590440758bc.png

    €75.67 won at just under 8 BB/100.

And at the end?  Should I be happy? Not exactly stats showing a crusher, more of a small winning 🐢(definitely me) but up till 4 days ago I was running at 16 BB/100 (🦁) and then hit the wall. If I'd started off losing then climbed back up I would be so much happier, but it's just a matter of perspective.

I think I'll stick at 2-4c at least for the rest of this quarter but not playing 3,000 flop tickets, they seem to take forever, at least for a casual rec anyway. I'd be interested if any of you, grinders especially, have some stats on those.

I can't say my original enthusiasm for poker has fully returned, the last few days just go to show how mentally strong you must be. Seriously I don't think I've played badly, I actually know I haven't, but there have been two serious tilt occassions only compounding the losses. At least with the ticket I couldn't move up in stakes to "win it all back" 🥴 something I could and have done in the past. The mental game is still a huge part of my problems anyway.

Enough drivel, back to the (slow) 🏇🏇

    Have Fun. 🥂

Looks like a decent profit anyway, don't think you have to stare blind on the actual bb/100 as 24k hands is I'd say still a relative small sample. Also 4NL is soul destroying with the amount of limpers, short stackers and multiway pots and you should only start to worry if you are barely winning on that stake as that means you haven't got the basics right.

Just build a bankroll and move up to 10NL and that's where is starts to become a bit more normal, more regs where you can play your range/position etc more instead of your actual hand.

Not sure if I regret buying 3k flop tickets now 🤣 I checked my 50NL stats and I see a flop for every 6.7 hands ish. And on 25NL it comes closer to 6. As long as I don't forget to play a hand every week I'll be fine I hope 😅

  16. I started playing bad as well tbh, bad beats are part of the game as that's how it goes and I'm fine with it but I've never experienced it like how it went recently so this is the way I'm going to deal with it, drop down and see where we get with the tickets. I also signed up to another site and will try and work my way through a welcome bonus there too. And who knows I might just go through a few other sites to profit of the bonuses and just see what the pools are like.

At the same time, I have subbed to poker scientist again for 3 months and will put in an effort to work a bit on the GTO approach and check my own plays again. GTO wizard looks an amazing tool as well and depending on how poker goes might give it a shot after my poker scientist sub runs out.

Haven't seen any replay rewards appear but I guess I haven't lost any big amounts as what I lost is actually what I won to start with lol. Can't remember last time I deposited on Unibet and if I did it was maybe just to top up the bankroll with €100 or something to keep me away from playing 4NL 😆

What I do understand now is how big name crushers out there sometimes tell their poker story and say they have been broke a few times and I always wondered how on earth you could go broke being a crusher but now I understand it a bit better lol, I have read and watched a few things about downswings and even though I'm not a pro nor a crusher it shows that even the biggest crushers can have months without making a profit and that shows how brutal variance can be.
