  1. €5 in the post. Been trying to stay away from the work laptop after being up at 5am so will credit tomorrow. I think I changed the live tournaments last week but forgot to change the template that makes them trigger each week. They're also on the wrong start times as well but I couldn't remember what they were this morning and knew I had a buffer to get it fixed so left them. In terms of raking them, we'll just go with the average level time, which I expect will be 6.xx or so and will probably sit in the turbo/reg bracket. Appreciate everyone staying vigilant with my mistakes and oversights 🤜🤛. It's my first time building an entire schedule, as well as trying to integrate parts of the old one, so highlighting this stuff is both saving me time and occasionally Unibet money.
  2. Some of those are supposed to be Fight club ones
  3. The ticket most likely already expired and when the tournaments were moved because of daylights savings I unregistered everyone to ensure nobody missed their tournament. If it gave you back a ticket that had an expiry that had already passed it'll have expired. I'll credit a new one tomorrow
  4. Time looks ok there. Name is fixed.
  5. Daylight Savings breaks the schedule. I tried to fix everything at 5am this morning and may have missed the odd tournament. It'll all be fine next week 🙂 the deadline for the Saver is an hour off by the looks of things
  6. They're all supposed to be generic major tickets. so technically the Title Fight flip is the bug 😄 The title fight tickets work on any €50 major so not a bug either 🙂
  7. I'll reply in a random order because I think some of them can be bunched together. 2/3/7. Not sure if 2 is you being positive or negative :). Yes, there are less tournaments in the new schedule and it's by design. There have often been comments in the past from players that they don't open the Unibet client because there is nothing to play, relative to other sites. When you look at the old schedule it's quite easy to see why, when the the biggest nightly was a 4k GTD €10 R/A. The rest of the schedule was filled with low GTD filler that were on par with 18 to 45 man SNGs on other sites. In order to try and redress that, we needed to try and make sure that the finite number of buy-ins customers had collectively each night stopped being spread so thin over too many tournaments and were more concentrated toward more tournaments we could promote. That's why the majors as a group exist, why all qualifiers only go to the them and why most promotional rewards going forward will also target them. We're never going to be able to compete with the GTDs of Stars and GG but as players get more savvy around lowering variance, bankroll management and rake we wanted to create something that would hopefully appeal to as many players as possible and really push what we could offer in terms of GTDs. Simply adding more filler is going to hurt that because it's going to take buy-ins away from the majors. If the site grows and more players turn up, we'll definitely add more as demand increases. 2/3 kind of contradict each other because you want tournaments that finish quick but you also don't want them to be turbo. The only way that works is if the field size is tiny and that's not good for us, and more importantly, for you. If the tournaments are not attractive, players don't come and play... and especially the players you want in the field. 3 is an unpopular opinion I'm afraid, almost universally the opinions we've received is that players want tournaments to be quicker in general, speed up as the night goes along and for the fillers to be things they can add in while deep in big tournaments and not worry about committing to another 4-5 hours after busting the big tournament. Having said that, we've only committed to the majors finishing around 1am so there may be some changes we can do to some of the fillers to slow them down a little since we're not under the same time constraints. It's something I'll have a look at next week. 1 is a nice easy one, consistency. As mentioned previously, the new schedule is about attracting new players and we want them to be as comfortable as possible when they start playing. The client itself is a little jarring if you've come from some of the other sites so adding the complexities of abnormal PKO formats seemed like a bad idea. I think some of your reason for 50/50 being bad are valid and some are not. Casual players don't study, period, so I don't see why the % really matters but they are used to getting 50% as a payout so it seems best to be consistent with that as much as possible. The payout issue will vary depending on bounty sizes remaining so regardless of the % there will be some variance and there is an argument that if the KO % is lower then we'd have to create a new payout structure that didn't pay 1st and 2nd equally to balance things out, confusing things more. All the PKOs are not deep with 200bb starting being the max so I don't think your last point is really relevant. There is no point playing 300bb deep in a bounty when the format is built for eliminations. There will be various MTT series in 2023 and there will be events within those series where the buy-in split and/or the payout split will be changes to add the variety you're asking for. I'm not completely opposed to changing one or two of the fillers in the schedule to have different splits but I think keeping the majority in the same format just makes more sense for the time being. 4. 5-6 min tournaments are turbo. I could see an argument for 4min or less but why the turbos as well? That would create a major imbalance between 6 and 9-max in the schedule as a whole. It's also not something I've seen any competitors do. 5 is not intentional and something I can look at. There was a general consensus from the higher stakes players that they prefer 6-max to 9-max which is why it's leaned that way. PKOs in general work better when players play more hands so 6-max helps facilitate that. 6 is bug in the new release, the info should be there and it's being fixed but the addon is always going to be double the starting stack for now. 8. The GTD is probably too ambitious and/or we're not generating enough tickets for it. There was a request from the higher stakes community to add a faster tournament later in the evening so that's why it's there but initial feedback was it got a bit push/fold a bit fast so I added a minute to the levels. We're also in a week where there are multiple live events running, including 2 sponsored by Unibet that we've sent players to so some of the week one overlay may disappear next week when everyone get's locked in for winter.
  8. Firstly, I don't think the "you have the option, so you should do it" argument is a very good one. There are lots of silly options in the back office that could be used to make a tournament that go unused and I doubt the big sites are spreading all the game types they have available at every table size just because it's an option. I don't really see how it would be rec-friendly either when it's essentially just a game of who gets dealt the nuts wins. Rec players will just lose more often because they're likely to not play the best starting hands and not play as well post flop. I'd imagine there is little to no room for bluffing either. One of the main goals of the new schedule was to build something that had more of what population (global poker player population, not Unibet) plays, so that we can try to attract new players to the site and grow. I did lots of research into what was popular on other sites and what wasn't and the results are the foundation of the new schedule. It's why R/As were reduced (because they're almost non-existent outside iPoker) and why PLO is only 6-max. If there was a demand for 9-max PLO MTTs then Stars, GG and the other guys, with their much bigger player pools and data samples, would be running them... and they don't (at least Stars and GG aren't when I double checked this morning :)). The counter-argument is obviously that if nobody else is running them we can be the "home of [insert niche format here] which is how things used to be but it doesn't really make much sense from a business POV. While we might get x players in to play that one niche tournament we could also use that spot to get run something more common and popular and get y players in. If y is greater than x, then it's not worth having the niche tournaments. The only real way to find out if y is greater than x is to test it out, and that's what we're doing. If we/I get it wrong, we'll change some stuff back.
  9. 1. We're going from a time where everything had a space name with very little reference to structure, not sure how much more clear we can be with the new naming 🙂. I've not had anyone give feedback pre or post launch that they're confused about what they're buying into so I don't think we need to add extra stuff to the names that's not needed. 2. Before or after, I don't think it matters as long as it's consistent.
  10. Can you give me a good reason for having it? 36 of the 52 cards in the deck are dealt pre-flop, you'd be as well play face up IMO 🙂
  11. I think you're overcomplicating things and/or didn't read my post correctly. Classic tells you 4 things, not 2 Hold'em Re-entry 3k Starting Stack 7-9 min levels This is the default for all non-qualifier tournaments in the schedule and then deviations are made and the name is altered Like I said previously, if two or more variables change, classic is removed (unless I've misnamed some) and if only one variable changes classic remains, so all the first examples you gave are correct. 13.15 €0.50 Turbo Freezeout - 2 variables, speed and entry format changed 17:15 €1 Freezeout PKO - 2 variables, entry format and addition of bounties 20:30 €5 Turbo Freezeout PKO - 3 variables, speed and entry format changed and addition of bounties 23.30 €25 Turbo PKO - 2 variables, speed and addition of bounties 10:15 €1 Classic Freezeout - Only one variable changed, entry format 17:15 €1 Freezeout PKO - 2 variables, entry format and addition of bounties 20:30 €5 Turbo Freezeout PKO - 3 variables, speed and entry format changed and addition of bounties 02:05 €5 Classic Freezeout - Only one variable changed, entry format 15:05 €2 Turbo Classic 18.45 €5 Turbo Classic 01:30 €10 Turbo Classic + all other "Turbo Classic" - Only one variable changed, speed If there is a stack size change, mega (9000, 300bb) or deep (6000, 200bb) is added. If it's not in the name, it's 3k. You don't have to check the lobby. If there is a speed change, turbo or hyper is added. If it's not in the name, it'll be 7-9 mins. Still need to check the dropdown for exact level time but that's the same for turbo and hyper. If there is a entry type change, freezeout or R/A is added, If' it's not in the name, it's re-entry. Don't need to check the lobby If bounties are added, PKO is added. Don't need to check the lobby If it's PLO, omaha is added. Don't need to check the lobby. No need to add Hold'em to tournament names because all tournaments starts as Classics, and they're all Hold'em so the only time that will change is when it's PLO and Omaha goes into the name.
  12. The Title Fight deadline (and any other deadline to a PKO major) will start earlier because we don't want players winning tickets to PKO's at a point in the target tournament where a good portion of the prize pool is already gone. The later you register in a PKO the smaller the potential prizepool is (as some will have gone in bounties) so we don't want to send players into them too late. Customers are obviously free to choose when they register but a lot of the changes we made in the schedule were to protect players and this is one of them. It's also why R/As are capped at 5 RE and limited to lower buy-ins, why late reg is capped at 20bb for most tournaments rake reflects level speed to ensure the games are beatable. The starting stack is wrong though, €5
  13. It is completely intentional 🙂 As the starting stacks are lower I wanted to give players a little more time to play at the deepest level before things sped up. It also helps us get enough players in to meet GTDs.
  14. There is some naming inconsistency between qualifiers from before the new schedule and the new one. For the Major qualifiers A "Hyper" qualifier is named because of the speed of the levels and the reduced starting stack of 900 chips. Buy-in and ratio of buy-ins to tickets is not relevant. They're named differently to ensure players know they're going to be very fast and have smaller starting stacks compared to the slower qualifiers. A "Deadline" qualifier is named because it's even faster then the hypers with only 600 chips and will be around or just after the start time of the target tournament. A "Mega" qualifier is named because of the number of tickets GTD. Starting stack and speed will vary on these as we still need to get them finished before the target tournament starts. For the Supermoon qualifiers These have always had level times that increase as you go through the buy-ins. This "should" be consistent so that all supermoon qualifiers of the same buy-in level are at the same speed as that was originally how they were designed but I didn't implement the templates so they'll need to be checked. I think adding "hyper" or "turbo" to these is a bit redundant when they're all the same. For the Unibet Live qualifiers I honestly have no idea who they're working just now 🙂. A lot of them were in the client before I even joined the company and have sat untouched for years. I -think- went through them and at least made sure the level times were consistent between buy-in levels but not 100% sure. I think moving to a similar structure as with the Supermoon where they slow down as the buy-ins get bigger will probably work for these as well so that we don't need to add the speed variable to the name unless we add something extra that deviates from the normal structure. The €2 Hyperqualifiers to the Supernova will become generic major qualifiers and will disappear/match the major naming convention above. Hope that clears everything up 🙂
  15. There are an annoying number of tags in the back office 🙂. I've tagged it now for live event. We're probably need to look at this internally going forward so we're consistent. There will be some events that use the Unibet Live tree and some that don't and there are also Unibet Open events so probably need to clean that up. @Stubbe-Unibet can sort the seats vs player issue as that's client rather than scheduling. I think it makes sense to be consistent with wording and seats is better. While we're at it, it says "Players" in the Players tab which really doesn't make much sense. Should be "Alias" or something.
  16. Old tournament from before I started looking after the schedule. I assume they're like that to make sure there are enough tickets to start the €50 -> €250 at 18:30 on Sundays. I've fixed the tags on them.
  17. A "Classic" is defined as a 3k (100bb) starting stack, reg speed (7-9min), re-entry NLHE tournament. I then tried to use the following naming conventions for anything that deviated from that. [speed] [stack size] [entry type] [name] [bounty] [Omaha] [shortstack size] It ended up that entry type and name merged because re-entries became classi#cs, R/A is R/A and Freezeout is Freezeout so it's really just the other variables that dictate the name. I quickly realised that calling every RE tournament a "Classic" of some sort was a bit pointless and created very long names. You could have a Turbo Megastack Classic PKO and things like that so it made sense to just remove classic from the name when enough of the original variables were changed. I'll be honest, I don't know if it's 100% consistent as it was a bit of a rush getting the fillers in before launch but I think it's pretty close that if 2 or more variables are changed then classic is removed and at least with the examples you gave that is correct. Just having a quick look at the lobby, there are definitely some inconsistencies between speed and stack size coming first in the naming and a few classics with two variables changed that need updated. The main thing is it's easy to tell what kind of tournament you're entering without looking in the specific lobby.
  18. Last paragraph of this post explains the generic tickets situation.
  19. Feels like you might be giving some results orientated feedback there 😄 The majors are designed to speed up as the night goes on but if you look beyond them there are faster filler tournaments that start early and finish early. If you play any major you should expect them to finish around 01:00 CET or before, which should make the decision whether you play them nice and easy every night. If you want to commit to a full session, you can play as many of them as you want, if not, you can skip them and play the fillers.
  20. 1) I haven't had a chance to get around to sorting the Supernova qualifiers. Going purely by the rake table, there is no rake level for a short stack turbo or hyper non PKO tournament but I felt that raking them as if they were all hypers was the most fair thing to do because they start with 50bb or less. I also just want more money in the prizepools to generate more tickets. The Supernova qualifiers need to merge with the majors as the €100 tickets will work on any major now so there is some updating to be done but I've been caught up with some non-MTT stuff and some early edits to the new schedule. I'm also playing the MPF this afternoon so it's taking a little time out the work week too but I'll get everything sorted. 2) A variable level time (VLT) would be a tournament that has more than one level time in it. The Nova and Moon would be VLT, all the new qualifiers are VTL etc. For the VTL ones I used the most dominant level time to define the tagging so even though there are 10/4 and 10/3 qualifiers, they're basically hypers with a single slow first level. Even though a 10/4 qualifier would have a average level time of over 4 mins and would put it in the turbo speed bracket, it doesn't really make sense when you look at the tournament as a whole. Same idea with the slower 10/6 qualifiers as well. I forgot/missed the Wild Wednesday tournaments because in general I forget the MTT daily specials exist at all 🙂. Will get them updated for next week to match the other tournaments.
