  1. Just want to emphasize what I said earlier: the cheating you are speculating about here is not even technically a possibility. It's not that it's unlikely. It's impossible 🙂

  2. I absolutely suck at goodbyes, and I never really got to say a proper goodbye, due to the geographical distance. I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure working with you, and you’ve probably opened the door for other community members that’d want to become a part of team Unibet, by setting a great example!

I knew you weren’t having a blast the last months, but I didn’t realize you felt quite that bad so really sad to read that!

As for the last part of your post, I can’t wait to read about how terrible the Unibet MTT schedule is and how you just don’t enjoy it at all 😄

Hope to see you again at a live event in the future!

The first hand - a player with 72bb limps AKo then the suspicious player with 250bb raises exactly 72bb with J9o - he has a player with 150bb yet to act so to raise 72bb preflop with J9o is just crazy - but it would make sense if he knew that the limper has AKo and thus has to call and if he knew that J9o wins  the hand.

It's a big difference between this kind of play when he clearly only chose some hands to play and a player who for whatever reason just goes all in 15 hands in a row and wins 9 times / loses 6 times.

So it's that you think the player in question knows what the board will end up looking like? That is impossible. The info doesn't exist anywhere (flop, turn and river cards when pf).

My buddy will be leaving tomorrow morning, thus leaving my two story house a bit vacant.  I will of course occupy my time with da pokerz - more volume is needed, as the 2 weeks play-through bonus have been a hard task to fulfill over the past couple of months -, but will also need to get the fuck away from all these imprisoning white walls, right!?!  So here's the plan : firstly to message my (previous) spiritual, pretty and classy massage lady friend.  While she has made me a couple of undeniable romantic advances in the (distant) past (when I was still with my ex) and initially accepted to accompany me on a date a few weeks ago, I did fail to get back to her in a respectable timeframe, hence her not responding to my latest whatsapp message, sigh!!! But fear not folks : at the risk of appearing insistent and hence (potentially) smashing my head into a thick wall of rejection, it is still worth the pursue, right!?!  I mean she is hot, has a pair of generous boobs the size of the ANDES, is smart, determined as fuck and is incredibly open minded and kind!!!  Plan B will be to walk into the office of another lovely lady that I have been interacting with weekly for a year; now this demands a bit more audacity and to defy the sensation of those battling butterflies in one's tummy, you know, but is also fun as hell and well worth the trouble, no!?!  The third option would be to ask the lady from the nearby grocery store out for a drink ; this will also have to be done in person and during her working hours, but she is always by her self, is very laid back and works in a less official setting. The fourth and final option is the server from the nearby sushi place ; a bit hippyish and a little too wild for me, but still worth the engagement, me thinks.  Now I will must likely accomplish two of the above, and perhaps three, but all four would come as a surprise, tbh.

Think dating can be approached similar to poker. It's about probabilities and the potential reward and loss 😄 Usually, the best-case scenario far outweighs the worst-case scenario, and Michael Scott said it better than most:

May the poker gods bless you with many pairs of queens 😄

  5. @BioBrick welcome to the community! 🙂

This is one that comes up regularly. I believe I speak on behalf of everyone at Unibet poker, when I say it's something we'd love to get. Problem is the work that it entails. Having a global merchandise shop is anything but straight-forward.

There might be bigger changes happening next year, and I'm sure this one one that'll be discussed again 🙂

Would be really nice if something like this could be added to the app version, even face-ID log in would be even better, I sometimes get disconnected at poker, because I have bad internet and I'm always to late if I have to give in pass, usn on mobile.

Biometric/fingerprint/faceid is being worked on. I'm hoping to have some good news soon. That it isn't working today is a bug:

  7. @Pokerist_LV are you asking because you've got problems yourself? Or because you're thinking about getting a Mac?

I should add that the experience with Mac will greatly depend on the OS version. Really old ones won't give you a good experience

  8. No, it was automatically deleted from there, after 3 days. It couldn't be moved over to the new section, as bug reports aren't forum threads (else I would have moved everything in bulk). There's unfortunately no way to recover this one.

I've given you some BP anyway 🙂

@Stubbe-Unibet im not sure if my bug report was moved somwhere again or it was overlooked. I posted it quite early after the hund begun, but didnt got points.
Don't want to beg or something, but if you dont ask...

Some confusion here. Maybe my bad. I moved it temporarily to General Poker, so it could be moved under bug reports. It was since deleted automatically (set it to delete after 3 days) and doesn't look like it was added under the new section (you had to move it yourself, by copying content and submitting it under new section - think it was mentioned on Discord, but sorry if it wasn't clear)

  10. Thanks for the report! The accounts have already been closed, as they were flagged automatically as well.

In regards to compensation, it depends on whether funds were confiscated (I haven't had time to look into the details yet, but it's being handled by another team).

Looking out the window here in rainy Denmark, it's hard to see the spring is here, but the calendar does say so, and that means: Community League - Spring 2024!

This time, we're running the league for 3 weeks, with 3 tournaments for four days of the week - for a total of 36 tournaments. We've got more than €500 in leaderboard prizes, "the treble jackpot" and the unique leaderboard avatar (this time the spring shark) as well as the avatar for tournament winners.

For chat during tournaments, head over to Discord: https://discord.gg/mKrgJxDH6P.

Remember to play with your community alias, in order to qualify for leaderboard points and the potential "The Treble Jackpot".

Buyin is €5 in every tournament with one re-entry (2 re-entry in Banzai PKO) being allowed. All tournaments - including the qualifier flips - will be password protected. Passwords are just below the schedule in this post.

  12. In order to ensure everyone is impacted equally by global connection issues, we've got an automatic pause of tournaments in place, whenever there're widespread disconnection/server issues.

If your tournament has just been paused unexpectedly, here's what to do and expect:

    1. Please don't close the table, when the tournament has paused. Keep the client and table open.
    2. During business hours we will always try and keep everyone informed about what's going on. This is done here on the community as well as through notifications in the poker client. If the issue happens during the night, we likely won't be able to provide live updates on the status.
    3. For all HexaPro's, all SNG's and MTT's with less than €20,000 prizepool: if the tournament has not resumed again within 30 minutes, the tournament will be cancelled.
    4. For MTT's with a prizepool of €10,000 or more: if the tournament has not resumed within 60 minutes, the tournament will be cancelled.

So in case of an unexpected pause, please keep the table open for 30-60 minutes, based on the above criteria. If the tournament has not resumed by then, you can close the client/sign out and be rest assured that the tournament will not resume.

The actual cancellations and refunds do not happen automatically after 30/60 minutes, so the tournaments can remain paused for longer, before being cancelled. If an issue were to occur at 3am, it is for instance possible that the cancellations wouldn't happen before around 8am.

When a tournament is cancelled, refunds are paid according to the cancellation policy found here: https://cf-mt-cdn1.relaxg.com/chew/rules/com/en_GB/tournament_cancellation_policy/

Not saying it couldn't be purely time issue but as 20 hours seem enough for me couple of other things came to mind. Did you cook it as it is whole time or did you wrap the meat for last hours and it might be even as simple as weather issue. Smoking in Malta might not be the same as in Denmark, especially what comes to opening smoker during cooking and getting back to wanted temperature.

Never smoked brisket myself but those were just common cooking things that came to mind

It was wrapped after 6-7 hours or so. I used a second thermometer to verify the temp (in the smoker) was correct.

It's just that briskets are so difficult to predict, when it's bigger ones like this 6.5kg one (and that was pretty much fully trimmed weight). The fact that it had the pork butt just below has surely added some time to the cook, and then I think it was just a slow one at the same time, resulting in what would probably have been around 22 hours at 105 degrees, to get the meat to 93 degrees.

  14. Hey everyone. First of all: really sorry about this issue!

I had just gone to bed when it happened and didn't see the reports here or on Discord, before this morning.

    What happened:

    1. Global connection/disconnection issue occurred just after midnight, causing tournaments to automatically pause
    2. Normally, this automatic pause would trigger alerts to the developers, but that didn't work
    3. The service desk used an old escalation process, meaning it ended up in no man's land

I'll of course follow up on this one, to make sure that the alerts and escalation process works better for next time this happens. The automatic pause is great, when there're global issues, but we obviously need to then action it a lot faster than it was the case here.

Also sorry for the lack of info during the night. It'll unfortunately always be tricky for us, as we're a small team, and I do need at least a little sleep every night 😄

Damn that all looks so yummy

Never had wagyu beef, but maybe one day if I somehow happen to win on lottery 🙏

Who goes and gets born on April fools day though :classic_rolleyes:

Wagyu beef doesn't have to be crazy expensive. There's a lot of wagyu mixed beef these days, and for some cuts, mixed is actually better than the real deal. I'd for instance never get a big Japanese wagyu A5 ribeye, but a wagyu mix is amazing for a steak.

Also worth mentioning you really don't need that much meat, when it's A5 wagyu. Because of the fat, you'll feel great after just a small portion.

In this case, it was wagyu mix, which I've found to be excellent for brisket. Full wagyu just becomes a bit too much, unless it's only brisket flat.
