  1. Another site has odds 2.38 on both teams not to score in the game between Leverkusen and Bayern = really great value. 124 bets settled, units in play 114.75, +17.2 units, ROI 16.8. Had a quick look at the odds for the weekend, and didn't find anything really interesting. Off to the beach now. Will have another look tomorrow :)
  2. A bet for today: Ajax vs Schalke 04 - AH 0: 2 - odds 2.16 :cash:
  3. As if the game wasn't already exciting enough, I was watching it on a horrible wifi where the connection dropped every 5 min. Certainly made it more interesting :D Almost 9 unit profit on the game. Back in the game now, just need the good run to continue in the weekend :)
  4. @WuDu, yeah, the police issued another statement later :/ operation went well and he's okay.
  5. Odds down to 5.25. Really sad circumstances and difficult to say what it'll mean for the bet. Could have a positive as well as negative effect. Personally I hope the match will be played tomorrow. Fortunately no one got badly injured. Let's hope Bartra will be ready again soon. For now the match is planned for tomorrow 18:45, but it's not unlikely it'll be postponed further imo.
  6. @psrquack, 90/10 I'd say ;) I think the initial odds of 4.40 is way more correct than the one we have now. I really don't see anything that would justify this increase.
  7. 5.60 on Monaco now. I'll put another unit on them, even though the odds has been higher, and it's far from the highest on the market at the moment. Borussia Dortmund vs AS Monaco - 1X2: 2 - odds 5.60
  8. And a bet for today: Mainz 05 vs RB Leipzig - 1X2: 2 - Odds 2.28 :cash:
  9. Very comfortable win for Werder yesterday. I've got 10 units on Schalke to win EL (not here on the blog. #whatismoneymanagement), so I really hope we'll see a different team next week against Ajax. Well, a bet for the weekend: Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen - 1X2: 2 - Odds 3.50 :cash:
  10. Two teams in great form. Neither are clear of the relegation spots and both can secure an Europa League spot. Odds on Werder has been increasing in the last 24 hours. I see decent value in a Werder victory (one of those bets where if I lose, I'll be pretty happy about it :)) Werder Bremen vs Schalke 04 - 1X2: 1 - Odds 3.25 :cash: There's a chance that the odds will increase further, but I don't think it's likely.
  11. On a bit of a bad run at the moment. Last 6 of 7 bets lost (average odds 4.2, so nothing out of the ordinary really). Luck just isn't on my side at moment, Wolfsburgs match yesterday being a fine example (had Wolfsburg to win at 4.9, and they really deserved that victory). Also a little worrying with Lewandowskis hattrick and my bet on Auba to be the TGS. Some quick numbers: 113 settled bets, +5.8 units, ROI 6.0. Only have one pending bet for the next 10 days, and that's the bet on Monaco to win against Dortmund. Got odds 5.25 and the odds is down to 5.0. 5.0 still holds a little bit of value, but if I hadn't placed the bet already, I'd wait and see if the odds don't increase a little, when we get closer to kickoff. We've got an "Englische Woche" ahead of us, and I'll surely post a few bets this week. Nothing that interesting right now, for the games tomorrow and Wednesday, but let's see when more bet types are added and the odds increased a little.
  12. @WuDu, they do :) there weren't any Veltins, and a mediocre beer is always better than no beer ;)
  13. Just like the girls from Lüdenscheid I can't hit anything today
  14. Deserved three points today, but apparently the ref is completely blind. Everyone saw that penalty, except the ref..... Off to party with the greatest fans in the world :D
  15. Just landed in Germany. Heading to Düsseldorf to drop off some things at the hotel and then it's straight to Veltins Arena :) Odds on Schalke increasing, but not much on Unibet, yet. When it gets around 4 it starts to have value.
  16. @tomek009966, Wroclaw. Will be there from 12 till 20 Sunday, together with @MarcoV. If you live nearby, it'd be great to meet you for a beer and/or some traditional Polish food :)
  17. @tableNOpopZZ...For full transparency, here're the two messages: ---------- ---------- You sent me a PM at two in the night, and I replied in the afternoon. I've been off work today, and I was off work yesterday when I posted the leaderboard update - I've been playing leagues in the past, and I know how annoying it can be to wait for a leaderboard update. I'm still off work as I write this. I should be packing my stuff right now, as I'm flying to Germany tomorrow at 7 in the morning (going to watch the Revierderby). Instead of finding my scarf, making sure the tickets are in my backpack etc., I'm on here replying to you. If you wish a query handled asap, it's better to post in public so Jeppe and Marco can also see it. I stand by what I wrote, and I'm honestly not even sorry if you didn't like my tone :) Your alias is what identifies you here on the community and when playing against the other members in the league. I would like to avoid changing aliases for members that have been with us for some time, but I'm willing to make an exception, if there's good reasoning behind the request. If it's simply because you're normally playing with another alias, I'm not much for changing it, but I also don't want to waste more time on you. You're now tableNOpopZZ. I'm off work the next two days as well, and I'll be busy drinking beer and eating sausages in Germany and Poland, so I apologize in advance for not replying to you - thought I better be safe and let you know, so that all hell won't break loose, when I start posting pictures from Veltins Arena, and you don't get a reply ;)
  18. I'm tempted to place a bet on Schalke (3.80), and I'm surely going to put something on them, before heading to Gelsenkirchen. In this thread I'll go with another bet, as I expect the odds on Schalke to increase, as we get closer to kickoff. Schalke 04 vs Borussia Dortmund - AG: Burgstaller - Odds 3.30
  19. @coconuts, pre-flop that's a 55% vs 45% , so wouldn't say it's a sick hand, but always sucks with such a river :)
  20. @CharismaMan I think we need to close your account, it seems like you've discovered a bug in the game ;) Congrats on the win! How big a multiplier did you hit?
  21. Quick update on the season bets: Choupo to be the top goalscorer for Schalke (odds 5.5, 3 units). Not going to happen, even though Choupo has been in strong form recently. Burgstaller already scored one more, and we'll for sure see more goals from the Austrian. HSV best in north (5.5, 1 unit). HSV have played much better recently, but so has Werder and Wolfsburg. There're just two points between the three teams, and HSV still have a game against Werder (16/04) and Wolfsburg (20/05 - last game of the season). Everything's possible, but I'd be very surprised, if I win this one. Aubameyang to be the top goalscorer in the Bundesliga (odds 9, 3 units). This is my bet of the season, and it's still looking good. He's scored one more than Modeste and two more than Lewandowski. I hope Bayern will make it to the CL final and Dortmund are knocked out against Monaco :) H2H Wolfsburg to be better than Gladbach (1.75, 2 units). Wolfsburg are three points behind but in much better form. Will definitely still give this one +50 %. H2H Dortmund to be better than Leipzig (2.6, 2 units). As I expected, Dortmund are closing in on the fan favorites from Leipzig, and just 3 points separate the two teams after Leipzig have only managed to get one point in the last three games. Even though Dortmund are obviously going to lose the next game against Schalke, I'm very satisfied with this bet. Dortmund have two difficult games against Schalke and Bayern, but so do Leipzig, and I see them struggling more against opponents like Hertha (away) and Leverkusen (home).
  22. Excel doc updated https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14641388/Bundesliga_Corner_Stubbe.xlsx ROI below 10 (9.3) for the first time in several months. Unfortunately there're the national games this week, so we'll have to wait two weeks before we're blessed with the wonderful Bundesliga again. I've found a couple of bets for the next round: Bayer Leverkusen vs VfL Wolfsburg - 1X2: 2 - Odds 4.90 RB Leipzig vs Darmstadt - 1X2: 2 - Odds 10.5 There're a few other very interesting matches, but our traders agree a little too much with me on these, compared to the rest of the market.
