Ajax-Feyenoord

I’d assume from previous experiences that all bets will be voided except for FT result bets.

For the FT result bets i’d guess they’ll will await the decision whether the match will be continued?

I would appreciate an official replying too.

@haroon95 @MrT

I'm no official, but I do know this rule will be used. Quote is from the Sportsbook Terms and Conditions:

"5) In case of an abandoned event, all bet offers that have been decided prior to the abandonment and could not possibly be changed regardless of future events, will be settled according to the decided outcome. Should the abandoned event not resume within 12 hours of its start time, all pending offers related to the event will be settled as void."

my full time bets are voided, ridiculous! This makes a precedent to bet huge sizing and when losing: misbehave in the stadium so the bets are voided.

So you're suggesting to commit a crime, to have your bet voided? I'd advise against that 😅

Of course it sucks to have full-time bets voided in this case, but have to go by the rules 😕

I think it is the wrong rule, it is the easy way out for unibet. The 90 minutes will be finished somewhere in the future.

Just to make things clear, My bet was in the home draw away market.

But what happened to the over/under goal markets? Is the over/under 2.5 goals also voided?

So how do you propose the rule should be?

It actually used to be the case that we'd wait 7 days (that's what I recall when I worked in support 10 years ago). Eventually we moved to the current set of rules (which are very similar to all major competitors), as there were LOTS of complaints about money being "locked" to pending bets for several days.

On the over/under bet, see the rules pasted by @Purps above.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the bet for Ajax-Feyenoord could not be maintained. No matter the circumstances, I actually placed my bet rightly on Feyenoord and I feel screwed over. I want a chance to place my bet on Feyenoord again with the same odds I placed before the match (2.65).

Just raising this question again. Please suggest a rule that'll result in less complaints than the current. The current rules are based on research and data and are obviously aimed at providing the best possible experience. Fact is that no matter how this rule would be, we can't please everyone in all situations, unless we'd just settle every single bet as winning (and that's not an option 🙂 )

I would change the time limit, from 12 hours to 72 hours. As far as I know, the KNVB has a rule, that a abandoned match has to be continued within 72 hours.

It's a global rule, so what a single federation (that isn't one of the major ones) may do, that is somewhat irrelevant. And if it was 72 hours, we'd have lots of players complaining, when it's extremely unlikely (or even officially confirmed) that the event will not resume.
