Hello, So March is finally over, the month went better than February, I don't have the results yet but I guess they will reflect this. I had a bit more free time this month and managed to put in the hours. I think I surpassed the 100k mark hands but we'll see for sure in the coming days. Also with the end of the month also came the end of the 1st quarter. So if anyone is looking to grind mostly 10NL this is the amount of challenge points you'll probably achieve over around 250k - 300k hands. The rakeback is not that impressive, I think it starts being noticeable once you start playing 100NL+. But nonetheless it is something. I'll be back next days with the usual updates. Hello guys, Short update. Today the RNG gods were on my side as I went on a massive heater to end the session 25BIs up. So if you are having a rough period don't forget that good things will come with discipline and patience. @Stubbe-Unibet is it possible to get some patch notes every time a new version is released so we can give some feedback on it? And maybe your thoughts behind the changes. I see v2.28.0 removed the color coding from streets history and previous hand which I think is not a good change.

Indeed it was an exageration on my side to emphasize the environment of 25NL. But with tables being anonymous, having little to no info on your opponents and 90% of the opened pots being 3-bet I thinking tightening my range is the safest approach. Atleast until I get a good idea on how the population plays on this limit. And get back to the drawing board cause it's clear I have some leaks to patch.

Short update. Yesterday I decided to take a shot at 25NL, things didn't go so well as I lost 5 BI. The play style from 10NL to 25NL is totally different, people are hyper aggresive almost maniacs 3-betting K5o or squeezing 76o from SB, Aces no longer require 2 cards. It looks like every one wants to avoid seeing flops in order to not pay the atrocious rake (paying ~1€ because me and another guy both got dealt AK and went all in to split). I guess I have to nit up and play 6% of hands. This is an observation of play style and other dynamics of this limit. Maybe there are other 25NL players that can add some things. Regarding the rake at 25NL many players have been vocal about it and it looks like Unibet keeps postponing these changes (I can see why). I'll move back to 10NL to rebuild what we lost and take another shot in the future, hopefully I'll be better prepared and RNG will be on our side. Hey guys, I managed to reach the 100k challenge points milestone and get myself a ticket to an Unibet Open satellite. I was wondering if anyone got some tips on how to approach this cause it seems like everytime I try to play some MTTs it's basicly a donation towards the prize pool (unless I sun walk). I would like to be part of an UO experience so I might make a challenge out of it once I'm done with this one. On the cash game side everything is going on good, managed to overcome the run bad and poor results from the end of the february. We reached over 8k flops until now which is well above my estimates to be on track with the challenge. Let's hope this trend continues until the end of the month and we might dip our toes into bigger pools in april. Thank you, Esir

Hello, February: Hands Played: 80950 / 85000 Total Hands: 169642 / 1000000Winrate: 31bb/100 (4NL) | 5bb/100 (10NL) The sample size for 4NL is not that big that's why the winrate looks so impresive, I think the one from January is closer to reality. The month was going well on 10NL but in the last 3 or 4 days I managed to drop around 30BI which is tragic. I can only blame this on myself and the cocktail of emotions that got me (lack of focus and bad plays). Let's hope March will bring better results and positive vibes, cause otherwise it looks like grinding 4NL is more profitable than 10NL and the rakeback from 10NL (less than 10%) is not worth it. So if you ever think or wonder what's happening judge yourself only by the decisions you've made and not by what your bankroll is showing to you. @Silver1 The hands folded are included. It's going alright thank you. Had a few break even days. But hopefully the second half of the month will go better. We are on track with the challenge, finished with 8442 flops seen at the end of the second week.

@Esir I like the conservative approach! How many buy-ins do you have as a requirement before moving up in stakes? This depends on each individual and how mentally and emotional prepared he/she is when the variance hits, and it will hit at some point (the bad way). So better try the waters and see how the swings affect you. If losing 1BI/10BI or losing 1BI/100BI feels the same for you then go aggresive otherwise take it slow. Yourself have to find the balance that brings your best game to the table.

@UAC Thank you. I'm not sure how many hours I play, I usually take in consideration how the game is going, if I'm still playing as good as I can and if I'm having fun. Ideal would be to move up in stakes but I'm taking a conservative approach so I'm in no hurry.

@UAC Agree with Diane on the KK hand not many worse hands call you there and I don't think V folds if he thinks he has enough equity (like he did with the FD). And on the A6 hand I think the fold is fine, people don't overbet bluff enough at these stakes.

@MadAdo @Silver1 Yes, I will post the bb/100 winrate on the monthly updates. So that will be in early February.

Small Update: This how the first week of 2019 looks like: This was mostly done at 4NL. According to my previous calculations 4400 flops results in around 25k hands played. So we are on track with the challenge. Good luck at the tables! Esir

Thanks, I'm not finding the playing style slow but I agree when it comes to software that it can be improved. If by tracking hands you mean how I keep count, you can ask support for a report on cash games which also includes the number of hands played for a specific date or period. I'm playing 4NL and 10NL.

For sure playing less tables is beneficial to your gameplay. But I take this trade off for the long term roi. And I found that six tables is the sweet spot for me. Not too boring and not too chaotic. Also if you are on a tight bankroll it's better to play less for the reasons you mentioned.
