  1. It may be the case here that you believe the opposite, but I think the reason you think so, is that our understanding of the game is in very diffrent levels. 1. While slow blind levels do allow to "wait for hands more", it is not an optimal strategy to play the game. Some microstake winners can win because opponents are way too loose, but it actually just makes the game more skill dependant. 2. Deeper stacks sizes favor people who have post-flop edge - in other words PEOPLE WHO ARE BETTER PLAYERS. Unless UOS should be a banzai fest where champions are determined by 100 playerpool turbos where skill edges are much smaller. <- I think it just devalues sportsmanship by such way. 3. "you wont loose value from playing tight" <- yes you do because you over commit to a strategy that is not optimally adjusted. I can tell you, there was a time I didnt listen cash game players much because I was MTT player. I am an MTT player, but after listening some very high profile cash players, I realised how bad many MTT players are, their understanding of post flop is just - really shallow. If you know good players - their not tight, even playng deep, it doesnt mean necessarily that you play "tight and wait for hands"- its rather something some micro regs say. A slogan, because they dont know any other way to win. They have no understanding of card interactions and combinatorics. All they know is , "if I play better cards in a pool with idiots - I will win." And since those other guys, have no brains to adjust. They win with sole being tight. But no it doesnt necessarily favour them - just the fact that POST-flop play starts to matter more , all losers lose more, not because their loose - but because their CrAZY and gamblers. Playng deeper is much harder, I have only some started to grasp, what it even means- it is very diffrent when some boards that are pretty mixxed are suddenly pure checks 100% etc. People suck deep. Unibet still has many hypers, some UOS were also pretty Turbo stuctured they werent all long levels. Everybody had their chance, and sometimes just varience factoring in wont let you win in a festival at all. Its just so small sample size to say much of at all. Sure, winning some major, "might" show some thing... but smaller field turbos for instance, show absolutely nothing someone with no knowledge can have his sunrun and win. I didnt make profit this UOS, even tho I had many bubbles, deep runs and 1 UOS title win and some nice cashes. I loved this UOS and the competitiveness of it. It just shows that I have so much more to study. Its not the fault of any structure, but rather knowledge base and varience.
  2. I wouldnt Addons are great for skilledge! And guarantees.
  3. Im on a bus right now, took my laptop with me, Ill add pics later. But both 25 2day and 5 2day event. Finished both 18th. In 25, I got really unlucky, it was like 50 effective, I opened AKs from EP, Lj called and cutoff jammed. I called and he did it with 99 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i mean, talkin about punts... he also previously made many very fishy things, limp folding UTG, etc. But the squuezed guy folded and our runout wasnt foe me. It was absolutely laughable to see that in a 25 two day .... so in total I got like 160 or 170ish from these two.
  4. @Le_Enaah yea, have seen you a lot lately. Yeah nice battle 😉 You can also check out my UOS blog in the section 😉
  5. I am deep in both 2-days that will unravel today. I'll now finaly recap the horrible day before that, High game spreads make the downs a lot bigger, but since its festival shots, I' did go for few. The most frustrating thing was either - I punted some place due to not having the best focus that day OR I' get dealt such a good one that a fish call just has to take me out: 11.12.2021 UOS Recap: What I mean by that: First E91 Rebuy 25 Mid 6000: But How did I got 87th? Well it was because someone decided T7s is a call vs a 20 bb jam. In theory tho, I cannot complain such calls make us most of the money. Its always a possibility that someone could also just want to go to sleep. Or yesterday when I just wanted to gamble 4NL, I was literally jamming anytwo at times to gamble for a double up to get done the mission(which I eventually didnt. 1st day without mission cuz I didnt had time previously for that.) So sure - it can always be some stupid reason someone has, I dont even fault gambling when its affordable, but taking someone out in a major by that sure made me pretty angry tilt mode in awhile. Then High Event 90 Unibet Open Rebuy Warm-up 12500 , I nicely bubbled 4 players away from money, I dont remember the hands and didnt screen, But I can tell that day I was already influenced by the bad beats <- which generally do not affect me, but I guess all the pressure made it more important. It can also be that I just took a risky spot, knowing that it gives me a lot of edge at FT. Dunno which was it, or was it me getting short and just have to go there. Then the Low E92 3000 10 euros: (26 was ITM) For that I remember the ridiculous board, where my KK got smashed vs A8s call 12 bb. So I opened early and the guy on BB 3bet to 9k - I have 12k behind so I 4bet jam ofc and he has A8dd. And it just has to come 7 8 8 rundown... GG. I realize you overcommit and have to just call because of pod-odds, but 3betting A8s vs a short HJ open is just insane and You would get more fold equity by jamming there rather than 3bet. So here I am 53th. The caviate: The Banzai Event 95 - 1500 - 10 euro: This one ran pretty well, but didnt come to goods later, 20 was ITM and I got 32th. One of the things to comment, at least twice in the Mid events I have over-rebuyed when The ADD-ON period comes and THERE IS NO SIGN that its a REBUY BOX BEFORE ADD-ON. So I accidentally click it automatically then realize that "nice I just overbought chips to myself" Takin Rebuy+Addon instead of just ADD-ON. Its really a freakin silly thing and it would be good if Unibet had some colouring for the REBUY and ADD-ON boxes. If multitabled, really sucks to click these without notice. I didnt expect to be so much down from that festival, but well what can you do. I have compensated some with non-UOS wins, but honestly right now since the start Im down like at least 500 euros its probably more, since I've had some non-UOS wins compensate the roll and I dont run spreadsheets so I dont know the exact stuff, but I m a disciplined dude usually and I just know what I can afford and what not. Bankroll management is very important and it can be the sole diffrence with many winning vs losing players. The hardest to cope is in the moment of some stupid thing or unlucky runout, but in general at the same time some of the UOS were shots of calculated risks and thus I shouldnt be too much whim of these losses as it is logical that they could go like that. It just take a bit more recovering time. Since Ive also had a bigger withdrawal just before the UOS. Its just grim to take it in. But we'll handle it. We have two 2-day event deep runs remaining and one Low event that I lost yesterday, but it will all be included with the last recap. And honestly, I feel pretty worn out. Usually I have at least 2 free days in a week where I play zero poker. During this festival I ve had almost no breaks, almost no studing- if so its only small amounts. So it sure does effect things. After its all over Im having one trip with my wife. I probably still do stuff with laptop and maybe an occasional game somewhere, but one thing is sure, I'll need a few days more chill and forget poker after this sole madness. Its not healthy nor good to stay in such a box. I can still come up ahead with the 2 remaining, lets see what happens.
  6. Im gonna make a new post later, I have been busy this day - yesterday was a horrible day I ended up losing a lot. The best one was getting a 3bet jam called by T7s and it got there. 🤣. It just wasnt my day.
  7. 10.12.2021 Recap I had so good deep runs that I was expecting a good result - too much. It turned out to be so frustrating. I was so pissed of after the losses. After last one, I just closed everything... today is a new day, but pff I would have wanted to sleep a bit more. One thing went well tho: the satellite part. The High Bounty Event E83 100 Euros : Got few bounties, Jammed my KJ and there the K8 just had to get there E85 Low Bounty Event 5 euros - have no idea what happened there. E84 3500 Bounty Re-enter Mid 25 Euros: when Bubbling gets to be a trend, I mean why not.... 🤷‍♂️I was almost considering a fold, the reason being that this 3bet screams strong, but at the same time, at that point I told myself calling to be very bad, because he can barrel so much and I will end up either in a guessing game or go broke anyway. Another thing is if I double up I have a considerable edge to get a good FT spot. So I decided to 4bet JAM and go with it. And he had AA. I was a bit tilted by the 100 loss at that point too when makin a decision so and chose the Yolo... 35 was ITM, And me I 47th. This bounty event was in general really good... but good hopes all down the drain. UOS E87 Mid 50 euros 3500: 12 BB effective, I was considering folding, but yeah... bubbles are just so great. He opened, I jammed gg. UOS E88 1000 Low 5 euros: What can happen here? I need conseling from Merenitsu Im counting how many bad rundowns can come from the river? Its a Q on flop right? I cannot go bad anymore 🤣 . This could be a punt, but since it was a 5 Euro one and the UTG opener did many crazy stuff I jammed. Well I was right to jam vs him... but BB was waking with JJ and rivered his goods. To the strawberry guy I tell, keep cold-calling your A2o vs EP opens, you'll make a lot of 2 2 2 flops by doing this 😉 - During those UOS days, I havent been as pissed before as I was yesterday.... Hey, but guys cheers for taking the time to check this out.
  8. My every single deep run went into the dumpster today, I need to start being a proffessional quiter too. But I dont remember how many AA was there🙄.
  9. I dont agree with that, because thanks that games are a lot deeper. You are not forced to rebuy and if some games are too expensive to you, then probably it would be a mistake to play it already anyway. The only diffrence that maybe I would make, is some smaller satellites like 2 euro ones, that also give like 1 big ticket or 2. So that some micro players could also hop in from time to time. But I would actually say that Unibets game system is a lot better compared to others. If you would play sats at stars, the varience would be much higher. Maybe, you made this post because you lost every satellite there is, but that something that should be understood - satellites will ALWAYS skyrocket your varience, because now -> you need to win a sat first and then also the game itself. If you start multiplyng the chances... UOS clearly doesnt lack players. If you are not able to afford to rebuy, then just dont. I wouldnt say it looses the ability to compete. Without the R/A the GTDs would be much smaller. I have started from the smallest and I m not able to say that the system isnt working. Its just , hypers and turbos are not 12 min MTTs. I also am not seeing that everyone is double stacking all the time, so I dont find it very accurate to say that some how something is very bad from R/A. If you cannot aford those games, just play those that you can. Unibet has many other games, not all touraments are Moonwalks. Getting to play sats to 1 euro games, with 0.20 <- I hardly find anywhere something like that. If you dont have the roll, then you just have to build it.
  10. Yeah sorry man, I read it wrong 😉. Glad you got your task done.
  11. I suggets you to take up a judicial lecture for instance and learn what proof really means, because right now it seems you have no idea what that word means.
  12. What do you think about shoving pre, or 3beting ? I think its to shallow to call down like that tho.
  13. The equity of backdoors, which there is none, already drops with shorter stacks depths. Which makes calling a rundown with 4 outs with an overcard, simply a suicide mission. If a passive player would bet, you'd wanna fold even more because his betting range is so much tighter. 🤔
  14. 09.12.2021 Recap: Yesterdays Big Bang Low didnt go so well, I remember going broke with a AT with a bit too loose call off, I remember that at the time, I felt that I might have made a missplay and commited too much there, but I found myself stuck and called it off at the river, but ofc I was behind since peoples ranges are a lot tighter post in such buyins. 1000 E78 UOS Big Bang Bounty Low 5 Euro 3000 E81 UOS Rebuy Low 10 Euros: some bubble that was going on here 26 was ITM. 6000 E80 UOS Rebuy Mid 25 Euros: this one was a big chunck fail. I accidentally clicked rebuy, when I thought that it is Add-on and ended up double rebuyng with Add-on in a place where I only wanted to add-on. Sure it gave me better stack, but I m not so much intrested about almost 100 going into MTT mangement.. lol . 4000 E77 UOS Big Bang Bounty Mid 25 Euros: Really liked the deep run of it, I had 12 BB, the guy on SB jammed, I was 12 BB left and called my KQo was against his A2 and he got there. Nothing much to say. Next day, next games! 😉 Still next one will be sure an intresting day.
  15. I have a actually studied psychology pretty indepth, so in that I actually know what Im talking about and I agree with Negreanu and many others on Hellmuths behaviour. Its not just my opinion or some grudge. I sure, can accept I dont have a problem with someone wanting to be bad. I have clearly said that. I have just tryed to point out, that with that nothing is going to change. If he wants to go down the 600k down the drain road, then always tell your a community winner and 8 games is a clear cut sample size and Hexapros should give more multipliers and we just have diffrent strategy how to deposit more. 🤣
  16. Would just fold on the flop. Call pre-flop is okay, but would never go down that road, in a spot like that you are merely guessing and all you have is a showdown vs some air. You are also pretty shortstacked, so it doesnt allow you to hero like that so much. Why are you imagining exactly only these hands? HU BTN could have almost every hand in its hand there is. And with that stack depth call, that 5 on the turn, is a better card for him that it is for you . Same thing with the 3. 🙄 But in technicalities, its pretty hard for me to go too deep in analysis since I dont consider myself a strong HU player. Even tho I have studied some of it, but there has been many larger field success stories with ending up 2nd thanks to that. Probably in terms of Unibet, no problem be better than the field, but its really another world. From a past webinar that I have conspected, its suggesting to jam K2o vs a limp, with such stack depth but its not a limped pot for you. It might be okay tho, since it makes better Kx to fold with same logic. But yeah, in all other sense, calling down to the river seems bad. Thats I think something that can be confidently said.
  17. LOL, you serious? I didnt use the community prior to that, so how the heck can it be an excuse? You just are in a massive denial. Hey everyone can tell that "he has a diffrent approach". But guess what, all apporaches are not linearly diffrent cookies that just taste diffrently. Diffrent approaches are either losing apporaches or not. Exactly, we dont see much of winning from these "your approaches". So no, its not merely diffrent approach, its a losing denial which propably wont never stops, because if it would stop - it wouldnt try to justify itself like that, it would rather recognize the failings.
  18. Just because a guy with Narcissitic Personality Disorder can rant and at the same time be one of the best, isnt an example for all the other much better guys or people who play have defeated much stronger fields. Or the fact that Hellmuth isnt playng the High Rollers, because he selects his games. Should I justifiy Robert Fischers paranoia and idiocracy too - because he was the best chess player in the world at one time? No. This 800 games, isnt some magical number that I said, its seen from a grapth from a very good player. I think its funny that people who argue are mostly guys who are recreationals, yet they still have stuff to say. Maybe thats why you are not the winner. I mean, just go and read your answers again? Just pure arrogance, yet its you whos the depositor.(Somehow still knows better) .
  19. Probably wont be happening in Unibet, but yes playng larger fields massively, you can be months down... a very long time.Thats why guys with low stress tolerance also wont make it. Tournaments are very hard and the more big fields there are the harder it gets, its sure fun to chase some big score, but then be ready for painful days ... . And thats why Unibet is unique, if played here much more stable.
  20. There is nothing out of his league in this, the guy is up over 90k with past 3 years. You guys just dont understand what varience is.
  21. Community event, I wasnt there from the start and it doesnt matter as much because you are somehow finding that 20 games of "festival" some how prove the worthiness. Ive seen a downer, from a much better player than myself, with as long as 800 tourneys. The fact that you dont do the hard work makes the diffrence, why its you whos making the deposits and while those of us who do not evaluate ourselves by 20 games are not doing those deposits. But Well, I cannot blame you on dumping money, its your choice. Your a gambler and you like to gamble. If your community freeroll matters so much, why arent you at the top of UOS etc. 20 times came 1.5 multiplier 🙄, You lost all games . In a hexa.... You know even sats are less varience than these, I lost few days ago, almost every sat there is, but I undestand that having this run in one day, or even the next day or day after... doesnt matter in any sense when doing things right... I dont evaluate how many AA I got, bla bla bla, I dont even know how much did I got or did I miss. IT JUST DOESNT MATTER. All that matters is undestanding the knowledge about the game and having a strategy that is solid. You have been in this game for a long time, yet you cannot understand basics. I start to wonder how its even possible.
  22. I wouldnt say its like other gambling products, because in any sport when the field would be equal no1 would be making any money from their wins. The fact that rake is a part of tournament is only a factor if it starts to eat out the edge and by definition makes a game unprofitable by math. But the fact that rake exists has nothing to do with the fact that in any field of competition - everyone would be losers if everyone would be equal.
