  1. Havent seen the total ranges there, what do you mean by calling off T9s JTs? , you mean jamming them pre?

HU is pretty complex stuff, from time to time I look over the stuff again and revisit, but its something I need to get much more into cuz its sometimes pretty frustrating. Its pretty crazy how different it all really is.

Would be interesting to see post-flop stuff from Wiz. Imo always a benefit no matter what.

  2. Quote

I'm not totally convinced on that argument.

    1. Millions of hands down? No.

    2. When "EVEN" High Rollers have their swings , well aparently you cant have some winning 30BB/100 at 1kNL either - so the swings are much easier to come because everyones winrate is lower.  PEOPLE HAVE LESS EDGE AGAINST EACH OTHER, EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE AN EDGE.

    3. 4NL is like 2NL in Unibet really. No you cant be winning and have 150k hands in total... I can believe someone being 50k hands long  downers and so ... but 150k and not up... no its not varience, never is.

    4. The TT is an easy fold specially when Multiway and vs 4bet .... thats not really even a read, that 4NL reality.

ANyway, while these things maybe hard to admit, the focus isnt that "Hey, you suck" . The focus is: Look, right now you are bleeding money... and you can change it if you work on your game - actually. Actively.

Timeouted with JJ in sloberknocker qualify. but I hope it was worth a fold to write it 😄 .

  3. @GR1ZZL3R in GGnetwork, there are many guys with 300k winnings, 1million winnings etc and being super losers. Some guys just play super big games out of their bankroll, sometimes they hit their win .. and that boosts their "earning" - while they are net down in all graphs they have. 😄 In my old PC I had a screenshot posted some 665k down line that is going ... impressive. Probably lots of loans back there too.

  4. Well , how big are the blinds? What was the action prior?

In some scenarios, jamming flop may actually not be terrible because at JTx its a thing, here its J9 two-tone tho with multiway .

If its just a non-3bet pot, we are usually raising our bottom sets large or, in multiway here we could just check-raise them.

  5. 150k hands is also showing, that right now you are just not beating that game. This is not varience. So it would be very important to actually gain more understanding on these things written above. Also looking some materials about these and to advance your knowledge, because if you dont - nothing will change, the going down the trail just continues with few winning ups and some break-even lines...

In order to win, you need to: make less mistakes than others,

    and know more than others.

Otherwise, you make more mistakes than others and know less than others - by which all your money is flowing towards others not the otherway around.

    Cheers!

  6. I would say, if you wanna work on beating micros, it really comes down to few simple things.

    * Not punting with random hands.

    * Knowing your Opening ranges, and opponents calling ranges.

    * Fliping with premium hands with no hesitation - because playerpool calls wider than they should. So all value just prints. (In cash tho, need to assess that AQ and AJ is not the same hand as in MTTs)

    * 3betting is benefitial already for isolation and avoiding multiway pots.

    * Out of Position is where you loose most of your money. Look up what is cash game Big Blind defence ACTUALLY. <- and defend it rigorously like that with almost no adjustment, worry about adjustments when you get better , adjustments only confuse focus if you wanna just get over the curve. ... What happens from there is... you pay less rake and you lose less from the BB defending which in overall boosts your winrate.

    * Small Blind is super tight.... and no there is no suited connector calling like in tournaments. Only Broadway related 9x suited+

    * Dont call from the Small Blind, only 3bet.(IN cash )

    * Learning to understand Pot Odds and MDF. Not necessarily always counting them, but already having a grasp of ... is a benefit.

I think the usually thing is very nitty straight-forward game in the player pool. Afraid to loose and tryng to double up from good hands. Playng very passive ways which miss EV from passive players who dont bet themselves. Having a strong top pair and betting 40% or 60% when turn has gone check check. These super afraid river bets where players dont understand that if someone wont believe you he will call pot+ with 3rd pair.. instead of betting small betting larger - no1 will build the pots for you, you have to do it yourself

The other guys are the maniac punters who open 23o from UTG cuz why not, and call 54s vs a 4bet because "I feel it might be coming" . <- Against these we can take even more advantage off.

@Samba While the 3betting is very important, we are for sure not 3betting K6o region in cash ever. Thats more of a 40 BB slivers vs BTN in MTTs. We generally dont wanna put much effort to Offsuit combos in cash cz they mostly suck deep stacked. Most 3bets come from Suited connectors, Suited aces and Kx suited.

With offsuit can just light money on fire.

In overall - I dont play cash much at all, but I certainly know something about it. I dont like the grind of it, despite the swings are smaller. Also to me it seems, in MTT starter could get few hundred up in  week. While in cash someone could play a month and still have almost non significant up, or like to get up to 200 with 4NL ... I have no idea how much would it take.  But its everyones preferences, MTTs take time. Everything has its benefits.  Now @GR1ZZL3R start reading this post every time. 😄

  7. "even with AKs, or jam with JJ"

I mean , JJ maybe to some - jamming can sure be bad vs uber-nit who has 2 or 3% 3betting overall... , but if you are folding AKs or AK to 3bets <- thats out right crazy. Also JJ should still be looking flops. You certainly shouldnt be Tighter than the charts as they are already very tight, most people never play like this. ... Now I wanna point out on key thing for you:

As a caller, sure there could be some adjustments vs some players. But it shouldnt be thought about one individual line, even if you lose that 1 or 2 or 5 times in a row every single time, from these times... it doesnt prove that you lose by making these calls. It just shows that you lost these times. If you are very tight, you may also project in some situations "what would I do" to the players,  but that doesnt work . Because players are all over the place really.. by making so nitty folds, only makes you win a lot less money, because usually these spots print. ... Probably a lot of results oriented thinking when you try to clear a ticket. If some ticket busts, it should be actually okay, if the overall theory actually is solid. Cannot underestimate how big the varience tree can sometimes be... but by avoiding not to go bust by avoiding plays, is really shooting to our own foot. Making some of these mistakes, is certainly something that will hold down real growth and getting better at the game.

Also a note, 3betting in cash is very important. However, people 4bet tighter than they should.

A good question to ask your own self too, is how much 3bets do you have yourself ?

Looking forward getting it much better, if you have started, you can do it much better! 😉

I'd make sure those ranges are configured to a similar rake structure as unibet since they could be way off.

The flora in your garden looks very similar to an english garden, where do you live?

P.S. Yeah it is called Ivy

While I agree that rake is very important in cash, I wouldnt actually worry too much about it, specially in Unibet, for few reasons.

Most people play very much out of line from the charts, that means that the calling ranges they get into the pots with are mostly -EV plays and way wide. In tern, that also means that sometimes even wider than a chart that would be with 0 rake implemented would overperform vs populations, because the opponent responses are going to overcompensate the theory. If anyone is consistent with those in these games, unless he punts hard post flop, there is absolutely no way to not come out in profit long-term. In fact, to some tables, these could be sometimes even too tight..  but I wouldnt speculate much on that, because with widening too much, its rather easy to start exploiting ourselves while thinking we are exploiting... so its usually easier to just adhere to the baseline. When more experienced it becomes easier to understand deviations, but I wouldnt recommend it to people who really just try to get their stuff together at first, it just wont work most of the time and just confuses the in-game actions to think about.

  9. Yup. Everyone gets same amount of chips and they start betting on a roulette wheel. Then every ten or whatever "hands". They get a side game, where they have to guess the runout of flop turn and river in one go. They have 1 minute to click all the 5 cards and confirm their decision. The closest predictor gets full pot. People can have fun and they have a side game to get their Loyalty and pay more rake.

This just poped into my mind yesterday. All the punters would love the action put it would need a unique coding to make it happen. It would be specially tho, tho see everyone in the game and also for it to have chat feature. (Maybe with chooseable options only, if we wanna avoid real chat) .

Anyway, could be another opportunity to swear that the game is rigged and 17 came 3 times in a row just when I picked 16. 🤣. And more forum posts like - "how this wheel cannot be random, because I saw Livertool win 5 times in a row" .

  10. Havent read the other stuff, but I decided to mention a thought. Relationships core part is often having commonalities. Certainly not against dating, but I think one - maybe sometimes even superior way to meet good people for lives - is different camps for activities we like. So think about a hobby what you really love and find an organization or an event that is for that stuff. Another way is, register concerts alone - depends tho ... if you are very introverted its a bit hard maybe. If extraverted, it can be pretty good. The other plus-plus side of it is, not just finding romantic partners, but could also find friends. While all places could have a potential some1 somewhere - its better to avoid circumstances where most people go just to get laid. Because there are more unstable people together for a real long-term. 1 time marrige broken, doesnt have so bad statistics yet.. but people with more than 2 or even 3+ - significantly reduce the probablity of stayng long term(so some more critical thought if some is coming for you for their 4th lap for instance). I just shot this into here, didnt read much so, sorry if I totally butchered the relevancy and miss read something. But my 2cents when thinking about people and connections etc.

  11. @fest_student No I dont play much SNGs, but I play MTTs 25s, 50s in general and most supernovas every Sunday.

Sometimes when I have nothing else to find, I play whatever SNG where most players waiting. 25s are like 10s and 5s in MTT strenght - to me at least seems like that. Pretty fishy pool. At the same time, its a bit another type of game. Never gonna grind it, but it can be an occasional sit in.

  12. If the guy opens T7s from UTG , I mean... thats super great. Next time when you see someone like that, dont make it 4. Make it 5 or even 6 bb. Because probably - they will call anyway. On the flop, everything nice, on turn I agee that you certainly wanna keep betting, sometimes when board "complites" one option is to size down to like 33% . Probably wouldnt go larger than half tho, because we dont wanna narrow the calls into only "too strong" I think. The 2nd reason we wanna bet is also because of having a potential to make FH. So checking in many occasions there would be pretty bad because the board also can still have not just made hands but draws and we dont wanna arrive river with 18bb pot an 100 bb behind and having a full house. So your betting is certainly a good thing there. River check back is probably fine due to his re-raise on the turn, Turn aggression in these limits can be pretty nit nutty too. Cool stuff 😧

  13. You might have a nice potential there- even at €25s - few days ago, I saw a guy calling vs 3bet jam with 52o! - What can I say, poker iz not dead, its so alive that its hard to believe that some just cannot make money. But of course, if most people lounge on a sofa, and hit it like a slotmatchine.. or jam waiting their next draw... where do we get... to the MOON! GL.😂
