Standard flop when I squeeze, worst flop for my hand over and over. 3b pre and 1/2 the flop, x it down... ATs ok nh. CO limp, I iso, he min clicks it back I call, flop he bets 1/2 I raise and he clicks it back again lol, I mean AA-QQ wp if you have it, I jam and he shows AK... of course K straight away on the turn and meh. AA all in pre, 2nd time in 2 days vs AKo and lose again vs a straight. No joy for me when I get it in with AK vs AA, and I even have the suited version! Could have guessed as BTN 3b and SB nit 4b... Feeling like my poker journey is coming to an end tbh, coming close to 2 years since I started this blog and have yet to withdraw some money. Never really been able to 'break free' and this latest run has crushed my soul pretty much. Prob still try to get to loyalty lvl6 although I'm not sure why but if I lose even more I probably end up withdrawing my bankroll and call it a day on Unibet. Don't really want to post these crap hands all the time either as it makes me look like some sore loser or whatever + it's a waste of my time anyway so this will be my last post here unless I make a comeback in the future of some kind or something, highly unlikely but who knows. 12 buy ins down in the last 4 days, started today and within 5min I get AA, woop all in pre vs AKo... Aye of course! Even giving me a set just to stab me a bit harder in the back. Then later this rubbish, UTG rec limps, I iso, SB calls and BB who just sat in again squeezes, I call and see a flop, he bets 1/3 and I raise, he jams... ah well if he has JJ+ well done but AKo... and gets there again. 45min played and had enough of it. Off to watch tele, not even bothered anymore!

Dying to get my sub for poker scientist back and dive in some theory again as the more I play and therefor the less I 'study' the dumber I feel every other day I play without studying 😆 Think it is also nice to have a solver to check some spots that came up in a session to give me feedback on how I played the hand without me having to guess if it was an ok play or not. I might also start on another site and just see if I can get a bonus somewhere and clear that for a change. I could at the same time also buy a €500 50NL CG ticket on Unibet and just play that ticket without needing a normal bankroll on here. Have enough to buy another €100 playthrough bonus on top of a CG ticket as well so who knows... lots of options. Most frustrating for me is lack of results, it actually isn't about the money although it is about the money as that's the way results show in poker 😂 I just feel like my bankroll doesn't go anywhere whilst I feel I should be beating these games. Not saying I'm a crusher, or I know how to play most spots that come up etc but I see so many bad plays even from some long standing regs I've seen for years that I wonder how the hell I can't win (although I don't know if they are winners of course). There is of course the part where I move up when I can so in a way I'm always playing the hardest games I'm rolled for and/or that I'm capable of as grinding 10NL for 'a living' isn't really the goal I have in mind. I also don't have the goal to become a professional poker player by any means but I would see it as an amazing achievement if I could work my way up to let's say 500NL showing that I understand the game and am able to beat these limits. But trying to mix this with a day job is also another thing lol. I'm on a roller coaster, up and down, upside down, my head is spinning and no idea where I'm heading to (back to the start? 🤣) Time will tell. Bonus at 30%, a good week left on it but should be doable.

BB donks 20% CO folds and I raise he calls then he donk jams the turn, easy call... nope... feck Open TJs on CO, get 3b, I call, decent flop and we are flipping, he bets big on flop and I call, prob misplayed this hand, money went in on the turn as he bet so big I just shoved it in... feck MP opens CO whale calls, I squeeze, CO calls, I bet 1/2 flop and jam turn, of course 46o ... feck I open A3s in CO, BB whale calls, monster flop for me and he donks pot and I raise and he shoves it in... bricks out again... feck Tilt mode, CO whale limps, I raise and bet flop get raised, I call and call it off 3 barrels... feck Tilt mode. Same whale, MP opens I 3b and whale in BB coldcalls, MP folds, he donks pot on flop and I just stick it all in, 30% but never hit anything anyway... bye bye 150bb... feck Everyone else sticking it in with silly hands and silly equities and they get there but when I do, never any joy... I honestly have no idea why I even keep bothering. Gonna get this playthrough cleared and by then I also reach loyalty lvl 6 to keep my multiplier for next quarter but prob take my money off and go lose it somewhere else.

And off we go, started 23:00 Friday evening so that way I have most of Friday in 2 weeks left to clear this bonus. Been a bit of a hectic weekend with crap nights but we're at 20% now, feels more doable than the RAKE 900 I received before. Most volume has to be done next weekend though. Just read some of the last pages of the ipoker thread on 2+2 and looks like lots of problems so not decided yet where to make an account. But it's not a priority anyway, starting my next RAKE/GET playthrough bonus tomorrow so will be busy enough for 2 weeks. I'll try to get my current playthrough at around 90% today so I can start straight away with the RAKE/GET tomorrow. Just some hands now, Set over set, always nice when you are on the winning end, I open reg in BB calls, I bet big on flop even with top set as is my standard bet size, I get x/r 4.5x lol, I call and turn he bets 75% and I just stick it in, could lose vs 78 but so be it but luckily it was set vs set. Shows again though how nitty regs can be as in general I don't think many regs raise or raise that big with something less nutted. I open in CO and SB and BB both recs call, BB then donks just under 1/2 and I call and SB raises to 9bb. BB folds and I call, turn he 2/3 and I call, river he checks and I have a decision to make, I think I jam is the best play and yes sometimes you will lose and you think feck should have checked back but we win vs lots of hands and lots of draws missed and you never know he could call with 7x of clubs. We win vs all weaker Ax and even if he had A7 or A5 we now win vs that too. Think this hand was when I was ending my session, I open T9s, BTN 3b and SB whale calls, easy call for me. Goes x/x to BTN who bets 1/2... we are 150bb deep and BTN is 175bb deep vs whale so maybe that's why he makes this cbet bigger as mono boards are mostly x or small bets, def in multi pots too. SB calls and I just go for the raise here, I don't want to see another club rolling off tbh, BTN folds and SB calls, turn SPR is 1:1 and I just jammed it, although a smaller bet was probably better but I thought he would snap me off with some one club hand or whatever he had but he folded. When you open the BTN and get min 3b... easy call and easy call on the flop too to get there and face a small overbet jam, easy game. Another hand vs a whale, BTN opens, I 3bet and BB coldcalls, BTN folds. Was going to x/r but he checked flop back. I bet 1/3 on the turn and he called, river wasn't too sure here and actually not a nice board but him playing so random I put in a 2/3 bet and would have folded vs a raise. But called with T5o, or basically 2 napkins 🤣 Same whale, call pre which isn't a call in these positions but is vs this guy, not a bad flop and goes x/x, call a bet on turn and I x/r the river for some extra monies, thanks. One of the biggest pots of lately vs reg, I been 3b him a fair bit on all the tables and got in some pots but he mostly had the better hand or I had to fold. This hand, what a beauty, I called a 3b pre as 200bb deep with QQ, MP vs SB wasn't to keen on a 4b and facing a 5b or jam... best flop I've seen and called a 1/3 cb. Turn he bet 75%, shows you again that its always value. Easy call, No need to raise being IP. River he jammed 160bb in to a 93bb pot lol, ever a bluff lol? Of course does not matter for my hand and boom, lovely turn! And I slow rolled him for a few sec too 🤣 Bit of a lucky hand I guess, open UTG, BTN 3b and I call, oh look at that flop! I c/r 2.5x just as this flop is so good for me and feck all for him. Turn is pretty crap in general, just because it makes the board worse vs his overpairs so I bet 1/3 and he calls. River I jam, should never be behind in these positions unless a rare 77 and he tank called with 88. Not sure if this is a good call, he loses vs all my overpairs but he does unblock my heart bluffs and does block the 8x combos for a STR. But I'm a nit too so never bluff either 😂 Wish poker was always this easy, rec opens I 3b he calls, I bet small on flop and get x/r 5x lol, easy call and he jams turn, easy! And don't even have to worry about the river. If I complete the 750 RAKE which is 75k loyalty points then it will take me to 225k or lvl6 again, pretty much where I got in the last quarter. Should be able to get the 1st reward on that lvl which is €500 playthrough bonus before the end of this quarter if everything goes well. 60k BP atm, still wondering if it would be worth buying a €500 50NL ticket at some point, prob only if I can keep getting or buying playthrough bonuses at the same time. Lots of stuff to worry about later and lots of ifs 😆

@Pionrj Seems there are a lot of ipoker skins out there and not sure which one is for the UK? Which one do you play on? Found Bet356 and Playtech? Don’t really understand the point of all these different skins. Apart from that, 888 poker seems one that pops up a lot as best in the UK (lol?) but I hated the software 😂

Last €10 of my €50 playthrough to clear and then on to the RAKE 750, GET 150 playthrough. Bit of a silly situation now as I want the start the next bonus Friday evening so I have the Friday afternoon in 2 weeks time to finish the bonus if needed as I just don’t have enough time in the middle of the week. So here I am not playing a few days on purpose lol, don’t think that’s Unibets intention 😅 Also need to see for another site to play on (small volume) as before I played a bit on RIO but they’ve shut down now so… not sure what the best / softest other site without HUD’s there is out there atm. One of those days again 🤬 Random funplayer opens I call on the BTN and he barrels 3 streets, giving me a good price on the river too 🤦‍♂️ I'm like ffs not loving this but how do I fold AQ. Same player BTN vs BB, barrels 3 streets again I'm like oh man not again, wtf is going on and again he gives me such a good price on the river lol, ffs. Funplayer limps, I iso, BB squeezes and I'm not having it lol, some regs really do like to attack these iso raises so I raise again and he jams, I call... and fuuuck. Next few hands all vs same funplayer... frustrating... Each hand all in pre... At least I got one back, jammed 88 out of frustration vs same guy and then quit the session... And only 1 buy in down today! Imagine that 😂

@GR1ZZL3RYeh that's never how you want to start a session, losing a stack straight away and you are like, ffs now I need to start a comeback already to break even 😆 Running better than that 1st hand now anyway. One interesting hand, I open 89s MP (MP in pic is sitting out), get 3b by CO reg and I call, call small flop cb, then call a big turn cbet, have to call here with my FD etc, not sure if jamming is a good option, doubt it in reality, not enough bluffs. T river and I thought for a couple of sec and jammed it in, just repping a T as don't think I'm good often here with my 9. He went in the tank for a while but then folded, he must have had a proper hand anyway so happy to get this through. Wish I could check this in the solver but will keep it for later.

Got my results in of last month, obviously not good but hey ho, ran terrible and by the end of the month I didn't feel like putting in too much volume anymore after this downswing. Shocking bb/100 🤣 50NL -> 35039 hands played, -€1056 = -6 bb/100 25NL -> 7918 hands played, +€24.59 = 1.24 bb/100 Before the months reset I checked all the stats in the game lab and they were pretty much the same as the month before so wouldn't say my game changed much in any way before or during the downswing so I blame most of it on the run bad. It does ask a lot of your mental game losing pot after pot but hopefully we are back on track and have the worst behind us for now. At least we made a head start this month 😆 Few hands all on 25NL: CO posts the BB and I iso, he calls, I x flop and he bets 1/2 and decided to call, posting the blind he has lots of junk and decent flop for my hand, let's see what he does on the turn, I check and he jams lol, not the best turn but these players can turn up with all sort of stuff, pretty good outcome vs this hand and we hold. Hand vs reg, UTG opens I 3b and he calls, I bet 2/3 on the flop and he calls, terrible turn card as he has all these middling cards in his range so I x back, A river again not much my hand can do but x and thankfully he x as well so lost the minimum here lol 3b 88 in SB vs CO, get called, that's how we want to flop all the timelol, I bet 1/2 on the flop although I could x this with the stonecold nuts but I go with my standard cbet size, he calls and I x turn and he bets 1/3 or something, I call and then he bet this on the riv, obviously I jammed and he folded, not sure that's a good size if he is going to fold to 24 more bb's when I shove. Actually no idea what hand he could have had as he snap folded. Think I prefer a block or a shove in his spot on the river. Or a give up depending what hand he had. BvB all in pre, I open SB and get jammed on... why is this always a sweat on the flop 😆 but we hold. UTG opens, MP calls, I squeeze, UTG folds and MP halfstack calls, nice flop and he bet 80% on the flop then jams turn lol, easy game for me. Probably get in to some 50NL again and see how it goes, if we are back to running well I shouldn't be wasting it at 25NL lol, maybe I should move up to 100NL 🤔 😝

January over and haven't really played too much lately, ended the month down -€625, 12 buy ins down at 50NL, could have been worse. Have requested my stats so will see what it says exactly 50NL vs 25NL. Playing is a bit harder lately as gf is working night shifts for a few weeks and I have to look after the dog in the evenings and nights, problem being that he (Lhasa Apso) will be 16 in a few months and he is starting to show his age, he's been on heart medication for some time now as he just has a harder time going for walks when it's really cold or really warm. It's been like this for over a year now so nothing too special but it is getting worse to the point we can't really take him out anymore as it is just too cold and he coughs all the time. Also some loss of hearing and sight which is normal for his age, it's not bad but you can notice it declining. Worst thing is he also has some dementia setting in affecting his day and night regime, we go to bed at normal times but he always needs to get up and out between 1am and 6am meaning I have to get up as well lol. Sometimes I'm up for half an hour as he is out, comes back in, then wants out again etc etc till he settles on the sofa. On a bad night I have to get up 2-3 times. It is what it is, even though he isn't in the worst physical shape apart from these things, especially for his age, I doubt he'll make it till the end of the year. Hopefully he goes peacefully in his sleep at some point but there is always a chance we will have to make that decision in his place if his life quality suffers too much 😪 but we aren't at that point yet! And that's why it's harder to play when I'm on my own, as he wants in and out and wanders about instead of laying in his basket like he used to do before. Anyway, new month, hope we see a better result of this in February: Have received another RAKE 750, GET 150 playthrough bonus but still have to clear a €50 one atm. Haven't made my mind up yet if I'll take it on or not as depends on me getting back in to NL50 so will see when I clear the €50. For the RAKE 900, GET 180 I had before, I gained 90k XP (obviously as this is the rake), almost 15k BP and played 26k hands. Currently have 53,650 BP to spend. So much to do, so little time 😂 last weekend I ended up cooking too much so didn't have too much time to play or I was too tired, from cooking and from getting up during the nights lol. I made peanut butter, humus, chunky celery/tomato/bean soup and aubergine chilli 🤗 I was going through some theory videos as well and I have yet to re-new my poker scientist sub but I'll prob wait till the bankroll is a bit bigger again (if lol) and then take some money off to pay for the sub. @Samba I thought everyone on this forum would have known by now and imo it is something they should make available as an option in the client, can imagine not everyone reads these forums.

Wonder how many poor souls are not aware you can ask to cancel the playthrough if you aren't going to make it anyway so you don't waste 2 weeks of other possible playthrough bonuses.
