  1. @ITSMEOKAY Rakeback + leaderboards is about 500$ per week on 10s and 20s. Not sure how much I got on Unibet but it was a fraction of that. From the $ perspective PP is more profitable for me
  2. Poker: Ups and downs as always, can´t complain when looking at the total. Unibet Didn´t play on Unibet at all with the exception of the Magnus Carlsen Open. I was lucky enough to find myself on the left side of Magnus Carlsen, busted him after several minutes. He made a rebuy but soon I had him at risk again. Unfortunately, KK < AKs happened, so no chess board for Dennis. Damn you, @Magnus_Carlsen Meanwhile, my account was frozen because I couldn´t prove my old German address. This turns out to be a real ordeal as I haven´t got any documents that Unibet will accept:geek: Chess: Still busy memorizing my opening lines. Languages: I have learned about 150 new Welsh words since the last update which helps me to understand an estimated 5% more than I used to before. The plan is to learn a lot more in the weeks to come. My French efforts have been rather minimalistic. Lifestyle: I am keeping up with the running and am discovering all sorts of plant-based dishes almost on a daily basis!
  3. I won´t complain about losing 20€ or not winning some wood (or is it plastic?) but the near miss experience in which it happened is rather tilting
  4. Just as I was writing this
  5. Well, someone did the did the dirty work to get him down to 10BB, next hand he openjams and I snap with 88. SB overcalls with Q4o and we check down all three streets. He did, however, rebuy and is still playing. Not sure if this counts
  6. I have to my right someone by the name of "Mag_Carlsen", using the Magnus Carlsen Avatar. In the tournament lobby of the Magnus Open it says he will use the Alias "Magnus_Carlsen". I am asking because if we are talking about the real Magnus I will be playing ATC against him🆒 @Stubbe-Unibet @RayL
  7. Hi @ITSMEOKAY I play about 250 SNGs for 3 days a week. I get 25% in direct Rakeback plus typically 100$ on the leaderboard on the days I play, totalling to over 100% :atisfied: If you play 100 SNGs a day it will be less, maybe 50% to 70%?! Greetings back to Germany
  8. 100 SNGs a day is super ambitious. I´d be surprised if you kept that volume up for more than just a few days. GL anyway
  9. I had this interesting spot in a hyper 6 Max SNG today. I played with different stacksizes and found that an extra 0,1 BB decreases our calling range. I tried to understand the reason behind this but it seems to me that the extra 0,1 BB shouldn´t make any differences. Does anyone understand this and can provide an explanation?
  10. I bet you a nickel that one of them is trolling the other one. If they were colluding then why on earth would they choose similar usernames?
  11. Poker: I have been playing almost exclusively on the other site these past two weeks. The swings are ridiculous, but it hasn´t been going all wrong. Unibet: I bought some 4€ HUSNG tickets with my remaining Bonus Points. Played 8, won 3. Still 1.000 Challenge points to go until the next rakeback batch of 15€ but at least I finished this silly ´get a flop with at least two sevens´ challenge. Chess: I have almost exclusively been memorizing my opening lines as part of my chess training. Not much else to say. Languages: The motivation is up like never before. I spend the first hour before getting out of bed with studying vocabulary every day, both French and Welsh. In addition, I work my way through the Welsh Wikipedia, listen to Welsh Radio or watch the France24 newsstream quite frequently. However, fluency (in understanding) still hasn´t decided to show up yet. Lifestyle: About a month ago I made the decision to go from vegetarian to full vegan for ethical reasons. And recently I decided to cut down on soya products in favour of more fruit and vegetables. I am also keeping up with the running every second day. Never felt better.
  12. that was rather shortlived

    Rigged

@LFCJJ Possible reasons: make new players win to keep them in the games while the regulars will stay anyway. Or make the bad players win so they don´t burn out while the good players will put their misfortune down to bad luck. That being said, it would be a huge risk for a tiny extra profit, absolutely not worth it and most certainly not the case either.
  14. @Koljamen I think you didn´t understand my claim properly, because even if you played your bankroll up to a billion that wouldn´t prove me wrong. As for a possible ROI at 4€ SNGs, 10% is definitely possible, but you have to know your stuff very well, which presumably, given the fact that you don´t understand simple bankroll management, isn´t the case here. This isn´t ment as an insult, it´s a piece of advice from a professional who thinks you have a serious leak which makes itself seen before any cards are dealt.
  15. I can only stress out on what has already been said. With that bankroll management your risk of ruin is 90%+, and that is only if you actually beat the games you play
  16. Nice read as always, but how do we all manage to permanently run this bad?!
  17. 1st hand: I prefer to block the nuts when doing something like this 2nd hand: The Ace of spades is a weird card, basically a brick (which is somewhat unusual). It doesn´t help your range at all. The only value hands you ever have here are 97, 93 and 73. I give up on the turn 3rd hand: It really depends solely on the opponent. Against most 25s regs I fold it, I guess against an aggro 50s reg the call is fine. 4th hand: I love the check on the turn. The 3 is a perfect card for our opponents range, so let him hang himself! However I am not giving him the chance to check back the river. Might not apply to very aggressive opponents though
  18. @FreedoM jamming is definitely the standard play here. Flatting would be a mistake for sure. The only other option is a NAI 3bet. However, AKo is difficult to play on a flop out of position. I would much rather have something like AKs or a premium pocket for this. But with a sitout shortie I prefer to just avoid any tricky spots and play strictly shove or fold to a minraise. Keep it simple and avoid mistakes. Edit: Just realized he 3xed not minraised. Still doesn´t change anything though
  19. both your call downs are fine. It´s important to not overadjust vs tight opponents, which is of course easier said than done w😏 Congratz on your results and good luck with your shots!
  20. I hope it´s ok if I post results from another site here. After all I will be back playing some HUs on Unibet sometime in the near future, because I still need a flop with at least two 7s to clear the next rakeback step 😛 What is even better is that I managed to retrieve my chess analysis. No idea what went wrong in the first place and what exactly I did to get them back, but, they are back👍
  21. @CuteRaven I used it for my opening analysis. Frankly, it´s the only thing that has vanished
  22. @CuteRaven I usually play quite a few chess torunaments but whenever there is a huge global pandemic and everyone is confined to their homes I tend not to. Onlinechess it is for now. I have all my analysis saved an another laptop so that´s not the end of the world. The real problem is that I had all of it in a program that was designed to help people remember chess positions by giving them values based on the spaced repetition concept (worth looking up). If those are lost that means I have to put a lot of effort into creating new ones, which is tedious and unnecessary. What strives me most though is how data can just disappear like that from a laptop...
