    @Legend_Kileer I used to play about 70 per day on Unibet. Now I play 100 hypers per day on party. Poker has been a bit nicer to me recently. I am still not running particularly hot but at least I am writing positive numbers. In other news: Several years worth of chess analysis have suddenly gone missing from my laptop. I cannot for the life of me think of the how. Happy days, init?

    Nice results You could take shots already, just bear in mind that you should move down again in case you get wrecked at higher limits

    Thanks for the advice @CasuallyAwesome Meanwhile I am still getting crushed at SNGs. A big part in me wants to quit and never play the game again. After all I have run bad over a sample size that most amateurs donĀ“t reach in a full year. I am basically sitting on minimum wage, devided by two, take away all the benefits of employement. I know that in another universe I am sitting on a doctorĀ“s wage. ThatĀ“s no relief though. I truly hate this game at this point in time.

    Following in the steps of @Brocky I have been going with 6Max hypers today. There are plenty of reasons for this, the main one being that it is a more suitable format for me as I like clear cut ICM decisions and there are plenty of them at hypers. However, the runbad on Unibet was not a reason for the switch. Quite the contrary, I would have liked to just grind it out but this seems like a smart change in every other aspect. This is not the sudden end of this blog, it is however the end of daily updates on my successes and failures at the tables.     25ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 2243 games: 0,2% 25ā‚¬ Headsup ROI after 1062 games: -0,3% Just losing every hand. I could laugh about it but it starts to get a bit scary. No rants today. There were plenty but they didnĀ“t really differ from the previous two days. Instead I will post a variance simulation. still within the 95% confidence interval for a 5% ROI player, which is also quite scary.

    Thanks @CasuallyAwesome I am realizing now that Poker has become 100% job and 0% hobby, even though I still enjoy the game as such. That is also the reason why I am grinding it out. Stretches like this have always resulted in me quitting the game alltogether in the past but thatĀ“s just not an attractive option this time. I know our perception of the game is the worst way to determine how much we vary from our expectation but unfortunately it is also our only method. I cannot accept that I am running anywhere close to EV and 2000 games still only offer a 82% chance of being within 5% of your true ROI, so I am in good spirits again.

    @CuteRaven I presume streaming MTTs is fine because the chance of an individual ending up at your table and exploiting you is the lowest there

    I busted AK with Aces once just to bust AK with Aces (the exact same aces even) the very next hand. That was rather pleasant

    I canĀ“t stress enough how pissed I am. I got screwed over in all of March. Then I get one good week in April and now I am getting screwed over again. People will be breaking their laptops en masse if I ever get on the other side of this but for now I am left being the idiot in this ridiculous game

    No love for @Dennis_ I wasnĀ“t intending to post any rants but when it wouldnĀ“t stop I started taking screenshots again. So all of this was preceeded by countless coolers and bad beats and happened within one hour. All of these are preflop Allins except the two were it states differently. Here we go: I played thirteen 50s, finishing second once and bricking the other dozen 25ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 2218 games: 0,7% 50ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 133 games: 15,5%

    My session felt a bit like this I hope nobody here gets offended by a bit of dark humour. Without further ado, here are the rants: All this happened within the first 90 minutes. It took two full hours for me to win my first 5 Max game. After that things returned to normal but I couldnĀ“t save the day anymore. 25ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 2201 games: 0,8% 25ā‚¬ Headsup ROI after 1049 games: -0,3% 50ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 120 games: 26,6%

    The session started nicely with an overabundance of winning flips. Little did I know that Unibet was setting me up for a three hour dryperiod that was yet to come. Plenty of 50s running but I ran rather šŸ˜ž 25ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 2136 games: 1,3% 25ā‚¬ Headsup ROI after 1031 games: 0,1% 50ā‚¬ 5 Max ROI after 113 games: 25,9%

    That is the challenge, yes You want to limp the button quite frequently because jamming throws away the advantage of position
